P.Our family took a trip to Wiheke island and we came here for lunch in the early afternoon. The staffs were friendly and the view was absolutely beautiful! As they serve very small plates, we tried several dishes, and most of them were very delicious! I really loved the pork belly soy glaze and polenta chips!! They were so amazing! Highly recommend to visit here, sit outside and enjoy their food, drink and the view at the same time. 😘😘
A.We were disappointed by this place unfortunately! The short rib had a sauce on top that tasted like straight Watties BBQ sauce, the meat was very nice and tender but the sauce ruined it. The market fish was delicious though! And our drink was quite nice. We felt it was overpriced for the portion size.

A.Cozy place to enjoy drinks with a stunning view of the bay. Good choice of cheese and meat platters. However the selection of wine was rather short other than that it was great place.

R.It is not the great food, beach view, cozy atmosphere or varied wine selection that makes this place what it is, it’s the staff. Their attitude and smile made the service otherworldly, Damien and his partner go above and beyond to make sure that you have a great experience. Please do yourself a favor and visit this place, pick a cocktail or wine and enjoy the live music and fluffy blankets!
A.I had the best meals in a long time. The croquettes were delightful, and the cocktail match just were right in the target. Fresh, original and tasty. Great service from the Argentinian server as well!
D.What a lovely place this is. We were initially going to go to the resteraunt next door but after standing in line with no service we thought why not go into Aperitivo. Turned out to be a great decision because from the moment we stepped in our experience was terrific. The service was brilliant and every single dish was cooked perfectly. The view is an added bonus as well on a beautiful sunny afternoon. So far our favourite resteraunt in Waiheke. Don't miss this place when your here.
L.Love, love going to Aperitivo! Damien & his team are friendly, fast with getting your drinks & food -and they make the best cocktails!!! It’s a small intimate bar with a million (plus) dollar views. Live music on certain nights - cosy blankets over the chairs for cooler nights. I advise you book a table on busy weekend cos it doesn’t that long to fill up. 10/10

J.Invited to a wine function yesterday and left early and popped into Aperativo, we were greeted by Gilda the Italian Manageress. Very welcoming and beautiful scenic views, just a shame it was very quiet and we had a ferry to catch. Definitely be back thank you guys.
A.It's one of these places that you stumble upon and consider yourself lucky for having done so 😊 We had a lovely evening, the food was delicious and the service was great. The view from the balcony is beautiful, what a glorious sunset! Atmosphere is chilled and easy going, no need to dress up. The gluten free pizza was delicious too! Thank you very much for looking after us ☺️

M.Under new management just before lock down, the new manager has done a great job with this idyllic located and intimate restaurant. The food was presented very professionally and it was a delight to eat. The staff and management are very friendly and attentive - thank you guys for a wonderful evening.

Reason for 4 star is just that there is nothing in vegetarian apart from average tomato spaghetti.
c.One of my finest dining experiances on Waiheke, Francesca the waitress recommended the venison which was impeccable.
The Gnocchi and the Bruschetta were also faultless.
Shall be returning especially as they are seemingly the only place serving food from 9pm.
J.Really excellent wine list, loads of reds you'd nearly never see by the glass elsewhere. The food is straightforward but incredibly delicious. The venue is small and cosy with a billion dollar sea view.

J.We popped in on a drizzly late afternoon and loved the owner's recommendation for a cider. He claimed Monteith's cider produced locally to be dry and the best around. We wholeheartedly agree ~ fresh, dry and delish! 🥂
