Good food and nice setting, customer service was good to start with but the wait times got pretty bad. We had to wait at least 45 mins for our meal to arrive - when there were only a few tables occupied. When we asked, we were told it was due to all the takeaway orders that were coming through and new staff in the kitchen. It would've been good if they had told us this at the time or even during our wait. Also we had to chase up the deserts too, which added to our dissatisfaction. Overall an average rating given the long wait times.

I love coming to Brewd with my friend as the staff know a lot about dietary requirements and standards- including what is in the sauces! They are very knowledgeable and kind. It is great peace of mind to feel confident that I can treat my friend to a great time, with great service, and great food without the worry Ithatshe could have reaction. Good and easy food. Their gorilla burgers are tasty and nice. The pace of food is also quite good. Our order only took about 12-15 mins to come out. The wait staff was quite nice but would be having a good laugh/chat behind the bar when I was waiting for someone to show up for additional order.

Great easy location and good food. Wasn't sure how I was going to tackle the Beef & Chook Burger as it was so high, but I had to try and managed it - bun could probably have been a touch bigger to allow for all the contents, but small point. Son had the kids burger which he enjoyed. The quesadilla did have sweet chilli sauce (which was a surprise as it isn't mentioned in the menu) which meant my son wasn't as keen, but for me it was nice. Service as always is friendly, the place well presented and with the outdoor area out the back it's always a nice spot if that's your thing.

Great Island Bay addition from the Wellington Hospitality Group! In the style of the surrounding suburb, Bret’s is a bit more kid back than your average bistro. A sunroom for a dining room, a decent-sized, turfed backyard and a cool main bar ensure enough room for all. In true WHG style, the drinks offerings are strong. An excellent selection of beers with a preference towards Fortune Favours, Garage Project, and Panhead, heads off a large drinks list. Taps change frequently just to keep you up to date. Likewise food goes down a treat with four pizzas (and a Two-For-One deal Sundays) six burgers, and a deliciously charming mains section. The Brisket Burger was superb, the calamari salad was hobbled up quick, and the fried chicken - whether plated or part of a beef and chicken burger - didn’t last long. Go here for a quintessentially kiwi experience topped with good food and drink!

Nice place. Solid beer selection. We had burgers, wings, fries, and a pizza between us. Burger was quite good. Wings solid as were the fries. Pizza was ok. Definitely will visit again for burgers and beer.

Went there with 18 people for my dads birthday the other week. The food and the service were both pretty good. The food is pub type food but of good quality. Atmosphere was pretty quiet as it was during the week and we sat in in a more private area that was like a winter enclosed garden. Would recommend and return .

Absolutely phenomenal place to grab a bite to eat! The pizza was lovely and the beer was astounding. We had Tessa as our waitress and she was honestly the best server we've ever had. Extremely kind, attentive, and helpful. That young woman deserves a raise or promotion!! Thanks again for a great first experience at Brew'd - we will definitely be back :)

We had the kids out for a movie and dinner, with much success. The kids menu kept them happy from start to finish, although the food was quite hot when it came out. We had to keep the littlest fun drawing on the menus. The pattern on the back looked like a kids game, but printed on heavy card. It might be a good idea to have the kids menus be a light paper version and disposable. The adults had a good time as well. It was a great environment to sit for an hour without worry. In the end, it was great value and a good evening out.

Burgers were lovely and filling but not much choices of food as what we are used to around the area. This place used to be our go to for their food and drinks.. and the place in general.. the food was a bit of a downgrade for us. 😥

I can honestly say that this is one of the best dinners out I've had in a while! I have always been the one to have menu envy, BUT NOT TODAY ladies and gentlemen!! that fried chicken brought me nothing but joy 💕Top notch place and is now on my list of favourites.

This place has become a bit of a regular recently. Good beer with a nice after work crowd on a Friday. Also had a lunch here with my wife - good quality fish and chips. And I've been to a party for the boss - the back room can be booked out for small gatherings. Just remembered that I watched the all Blacks here too - so add live sport to the list. An all round great place. Warm cosy and fun. Did I mention good beer?

I travel to Wellington from the deep South every few years for work, a night at brew'd is always on the cards while I'm up. Service is always great no matter how busy. And always leave feeling satisfied by great food, great beer and a great atmosphere. Bring on May when I finally get to bring my family with me.

This a generous four stars but, three seemed too low. It's above average but, not by much. Good for what it is both in beer choice and food if you're after pub fare. Staff are friendly.

Brew'd wasn't busy, maybe because it was Monday night? Or was it because there was a public meeting on down the road about options for the cycleway? Either way my chai latte came 10mins after it got ordered & paid for. It was real sweet and around 45°C - a bit cool for my liking. The place was warm and inviting and the staff friendly.
