J.Highly Recommend Circus Bar!
On the week of New Years 2019 my ex girlfriend and I took a holiday to Wellington (From Auckland) and when randomly walking around after a lovely new years dinner we cam across Circus Bar. We were surprised by the fact that bars in Wellington don't seem to have a door charge (most bars in Auckland do) which was really nice especially for New years eve. We were only going to stay for an hour then go watch the fireworks at midnight but we had so much fun at Circus bar that we ended up staying way past midnight. The staff gave us free popcorn and free party poppers and props to use at midnight and they even let us dance on the table. Thank you for a great night out. Its a place I still recommend to people in Auckland heading to Wellington almost 2 years later.

Love this place, good vibes, cheap pints on tap, free gaming consoles and arcade machines, friendly bartenders, song requests and a table to dance on.
Will definitely come again next time I'm in welly.

R.Quirky place, smells of yummy popcorn... and yes they pop it right there aswell. Lovely staff. Screens ar tables so you can play games, although we couldn't figure out how lol. First time there. 🙂

t.Cool atmosphere really love the deco and bar staff are super friendly and nice but...The placing isnt the best unfortunatly its down the road from the rest of the clubs and bars.If you are on a night partying i would say go check it out but dont be surprised if its not really active. Drinking price is average, overall i really liked it
J.One of the best clubs in Wellington for students. Cheap drinks before 11 and an interactive music system make it a great way to start your night, and the free popcorn and lively atmosphere make it a great last club of the night as well.

J.What’s not to love about this kooky little bar! Pick your own tunes and go wild. Spent a few nights at this place and it was some of the best fun I’ve had. And the staff rock. Highly recommend👌
B.Was quite happy with service has a pool table and options on board or floor games with mates on a different menu, though I don't like the smoke area right next to the dance floor as people would stand in the way between both areas, other then that quite happy
