F.My husband loves crumpets so when I saw there's a restaurant who do crumpets we know we have to try it and it didn't disappoint. The place was a bit small but enough spaces the ambiance was warm and nice gives you a romantic feels. The service was intuitive and friendly. The quality of their crumpets puts shame to the rest of the crumpets it tasted fresh warm just the right crunch and chewy soft as you bite. The toppings worked so well we had the pineapple and cheese to the cold cuts and chutney they were delicious paired with the spritz and it was a match made in heaven. We also tried the cookie crumpet which is a bit average compared to the savoury ones nonetheless we had fun dining it was a great night to remember and we enjoyed the experience.

J.I was here on the 26/06/2021 and I enjoyed the drinks that were made here. There was lots of different drinks on offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Crumpet was very accessible and the room was warm when it was really cold outside. The place was not crowded and I could easily talk with my friends when we were there. Nice place to go for a quiet drink. Thanks.

B.There is literally no bar better in Wellington. Lovely bartenders who are genuinely into their craft. Can't recommend enough.

K.Phenomenal drinks. I'm always a little skeptical of places purporting to create drinks based on your chosen flavour preferences. However, they really nailed it here. Even the somewhat attention grabbing antics of Courtney Place couldn't distract from the amazing flavours I consumed. Alsi,great and friendly service to top it off.
T.These guys and girls make a great cocktail, give them a try they will find something that works for you. Also have a crumpt while your there.

E.Definitely my favourite cocktail bar in Wellington. The awesome mixologists will create a cocktail based off your mood/preferences. Be careful though, the best comes at a price; this is not somewhere to go for a big night out unless you're rolling in money. Perfect for work meetings and special occasions. Be prepared to wait if you don't get in early, the place is popular but doesn't have many tables.
A.Great location and surprisingly relaxed and intimate for a main street. We ordered cocktails based on flavours we were feeling like, created from the handy flavour wheel they provide.
I went for coconut and chocolate and it came with an enormous slab of chocolate on the side. The other cocktail was a vague request for slow berries in something and it came back perfectly delicious.
Seems like a great place to duck into if you have time to kill or want a nice chat over a delicious drink.
m.GREAT cocktails! Staff are super knowledgeable, know the perfect time to come up to you and ask what your after! If go here you are in great hands, don't even bother looking at the menu!

B.What a beautiful, weird, little place. I wandered in with some friends not knowing what to expect and we all ended up with absolutely delicious cocktails, tailored to suit our mood by the friendly staff. The vibe was sort of dark and cosy, and the staff were so cheerful and welcoming.
P.Another of the exceptional cocktails bars of Wellington. Beautiful little location off of The Opera house, you get exceptional service in the cossiest of environments. Perfect place to get a delicious martini, or a stunning negroni. With their own awesome cocktail list as well, you will struggle to find something that doesn't fit your tastes.

C.I was really pleased with the feeling of the place and the cocktails here. It was a rainy Sunday night, and I got to enjoy the place with just a few people in it. I think that a larger crowd might be interesting, too, and will certainly head back.
M.On my first visit to Crumpet Bar-Cafe I was served my first-ever bleached (white!) Mocachino, the stuff of Blondie dreams (and the taste was just as insipid). Not for me though, where's the coffee, the chocolate, the caffeine? Ain't no sunshine when she's gone ... bar-man give me gold, bronze, tan, sierra ... anything but Albino No-Fix!!
The quirky premise itself is an old, unpretentious, shabby-chic "hole-in-the-wall" (actually more shabby than chic) with two walled-over doors (to the Opera House), old fixtures and fittings and photo-adorned walls. The bar is well patronised at night and is conveniently located next door to the Opera House so a quick zip-in for a fast apéritif before the show begins is doable and afterwards, you can linger longer for an inebriating night cap before heading home. No need to hail Uber/Ola because the bus stop is literally on your door-step.
D.The best staff. The friendliest service. The finest beverage selections. My favourite watering hole in Wellington.
