H.Went up out of curiosity after a night on the town and it was really nice. Could see the stars, cool night breeze and attentive staff. The oil barrel tables were really fun too. Super unique to scan a QR code and order using a website. Prices were a little steep but as expected of a bar on a building rooftop!

D.A cool hidden roof top bar. Went on a Thursday night and it was quiet. DJ was playing some throwbacks. Heaps of space to dance.
M.Hidden bar in Wellington. When we went (Monday night) it was fairly empty so we almost had the place to ourselves. Service was quick and it's a great way to see Wellington from up high - they also have glass-like windows so you're protected from the wind (and from falling off the roof top)
A.What a fun place for our group from grandma to barely 18. We enjoyed the entertainment of Felicity Frockocinno’ bingo. Also enjoyed great cocktails
B.Had a great view from the rooftop and tasty food. We mostly just had the chips and alcohol, but the wait staff were very nice. The use of their QR code menu and ordering was a smart way of limiting physical contact and I found the experience very enjoyable.

t.They definitely need more Chefs. We arrived when noone was there at 12 and it took over an hour to receive food. A lot of us were on lunch break so was an issue. Felt bad for the waitress who was quite nice. Also need takeaway bags as the food leaked on us when we left

L.Nice view, it can be a great night, it gets very busy and difficult to get a seat or comfortable, at busy times also there is a line to get in, after 9pm was told no shorts or Jandals, the beers are quite pricey, La Carte menu is reasonable but the "yum chur" BBQ they do is a complete rip off $5 a sausage and that was the cheapest thing. Well protected by wind and the elements despite being exposed , recommend getting in early, staff are lovely and music is often good.
C.Nice bar, great view! But closed at midnight even though we read that it should close at 1 pm on a Thursday :-)

p.The wait can be a little long but the staff are for the most part bubbly, kind. Ordering with dietary requirements can be a tiny hassle though
H.Daniel was a fabulous host on 11/08/21 and his colleague on the bar ( sorry I forgot your name) mixed great sangrias and martinis. Thanks also to Rosa for her great recommendations (even though she was off duty that night) the snickers shots were great. Great night, great place.

f.As far as rooftop bars go in welly, this has THE best views out of all.
Not a huge variety of craft beers on tap like other bars in the capital and onion rings were underwhelming but all and all a great spot to be on a stellar welly day 😀
S.Had their Dirt Birdie broccoli bites at the fried chicken festival and they were amazing. So good I decided to head here after the festival to grab a cocktail. Really cool place, highly recommend.
M.Fantastic bar. I've never been here before but it was well worth the wait to go here! It was warm despite being on an exposed roof, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were fresh and yummy to boot! I will be back again with pleasure.
R.Cool place to go for a drink went 2 nights in a row 1st night was great with a decent DJ and music but the 2nd night the music and DJ was rubbish so we didn't stay long. This wasn't just our opinion either, you could tell by the amount of people in the club and the lack of people dancing (almost none) the 2nd night compared to the 1st

m.Amazing evening out at DLS, my friend and I enjoyed the drag bingo, amazing, Felicity was unstoppable, wish her all the best for her new job in Aussie. Reasonably priced alcohol, delicious food, we had the grilled chicken (gf/df) and then the chips. Am a big fan of DLS and will definitely go there again. Shout out to the lovely staff, welcoming, polite and super helpful. The rooftop view is a bonus. One star for the seating arrangement allocated to us, wish I had I know I could choose a spot online, would have done it. Maybe next time. Cheers!

z.Interesting wee bar being on a roof top, obviously it can get quite windy and cold up there. However they have blankets and hot water bottles available and various heaters around so wasn't too cool. Security staff seemed to being paying attention and clearing cups etc quickly which is good to see. You get a view out over a small part of the city in one direction which is interesting but you can only see it if you are right by the edge due to high walls. If it was possible to increase the view I think it would make the atmosphere much better

C.Name fits the location, arrived at an unassuming door with a bouncer checking i.d. who then calls down a lift. Once you go up and step out, the setting is pretty cool. Open and fresh, with great views of CBD, plenty of seating. Food was alright but drinks were top notch! A must try!

A.Really like this place! A wide range of drinks. Great to hit up in the weekend. They also have nice snacks as well. Great view and music. A rest atmosphere. One of my favourite places to go to at welly CBD at night.
A.Had our girly catch-up in wellywood a few weeks back now and our gfs cousin took us to this little gem of a place. We were welcomed by Rosie and as we were all out of towner's felt so welcomed we had the best night and met so many awesome people! This awesome little rooftop secret was hands down the highlight of Wellington 🙌🙌

S.I love this place, perfect spot to hang out with friends or family. In winters also, heaters are on, place is nice and warm with music playing. Only need a small reason to be there ❤.

L.I've been to all the other rooftop bars and this one by far and away has the best views. Unfortunately they know it, so you'll be paying a premium for all your drinks. I guess a view like that just doesn't come cheap. Upside, the staff there are always legends when ive gone in. Ill surely be going back, but only when Ive got a bit a money to spend 😅

M.The rooftop itself is really neat but the DJ the night I went was mixing the tempo, from song to song, really poorly.. was just way off, had to adjust dancing ever change of song. So a bit of a vibe killer, wasn't gutted to leave. LOVE THE ROOFTOP DURING THE DAY THOUGH!

E.You get a lovely view of the city from this bar, and if the wind starts to bite then you can huddle under a heater to stay warm. Definitely a spot to hit if you're going down Cuba or Courtney Place on a Friday night!
N.You have to check out this cool bar, it has awesome views, a funky atmosphere and good DJ's. The bouncers can be a bit over the top about who they let in. I was declined entry once as they said I looked too drunk but I'd had one drink over dinner elsewhere! I've had the same happen to other friends. So stand straight and act serious when you get in the line to enter.

A.I heard this place is packed on a Saturday night. On a Monday night (why not) it was just right. The cocktails we tried were yummo and very well presented.
We tried to order something off the late menu but couldn't. Staff were vague on when people can start ordering from the late menu. It doesn't have a time on it which is a bummer. We got chips and dip from the normal menu which was fine
A.Live band on Sunday was great. Thing I don't understand is they don't do large glass of wine 🧐 I asked for large pinot gris and I was told that they don't offer that instead buy another glass. 😏...

C.This place is located on the roof, it appears not to be that secret as very popular. Music was good and atmosphere of crowd was relaxed. Staff were ok, h almost too cool to be friendly. Food was terrible, just don't bother ordering any, it was so poor that it was laughable. Barring the food was a fun venue.

T.This place used to be amazing for a chill drink at the top of the world if you didn't care for loud music. When I went there on Saturday night it was just another dance club with a gross sticky floor. So disappointed.

Just opened and unlike some of these types up in the skies of foreign cities it's not pretentious.
Good vibe w good vires, nice short selection of food and reasonable tame of drinks. Bit of the kiwi no8 wire bills about the place and it will be good once they cover some of the basic white walling and perhaps get a great mixologist onboard.
It will be excellent to have a fantastic cocktail with the view.
It'll only get better!

S.Well. Great venue with awesome views. When we visited, they had run out of tap beer and had no fresh lime or lemon for a G&T. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day.
