Always love going to Eva Beva! Affordable drinks and lovely staff. Love the atmosphere on the dance floor, they've got a great DJ on Friday night!

Just popped in for a beer and cocktail, but the staff members were super friendly in helping my partner in finding an ideal cocktail. Pretty chill place with heaps of daily deals across the week. Had quite a few BRB beers on tap. Cool place to come in for a drink or two.

Great Halloween night out, staff right into the Halloween theme, very impressive. Nice cocktails too.

Watch the punters at the end of the night ..one girl gets you all up to dance while another guy steals ur phones. Wthecckkk... awesome place to be yourself. LGBTQIA friendly

Went on a super busy Saturday night with friends. They had a live band going which was fantastic. And the $5 shots were delicious. Very impressed with how the staff manged to stay attentive despite the huge amount of people there.

It was the bar upstairs. The Mexican one. Staff are easygoing and lovely during Covid L2. Plenty of bars and restaurants aren't.

I enjoyed my first visit. Lovely venue and atmosphere. My meal was very good, beef burger with side order of hot chips. The comments around the table were mixed. Slightly delayed service and the chicken burger was a bit too spicy. Otherwise, it was a great brunch destination.

Fun young crowd, happy hour prices, cool vibe,

Food was nice as well as the drinks. However the Quiz Night was a bit average with some questions being a lot harder than I expected. There were also times where we couldn't hear ourselves and the long table we were set up on was hard to communicate with our team to answer questions, but most other teams had a good set up for communicating with themselves. They had very friendly staff and a funny MC who made the night a bit more enjoyable. Parking was a bit hard to find, so plan in advance if your driving.

Good food at reasonable price. We the salmon omlette and eggs Benedict and both were excellent.

Popped in for a quick lunch with the kids. Nice food, nice beer. Friendly staff who managed the kids well.

Great particularly once I realised that we could smoke downstairs, quite loud music though.

Amazing place. Charlotte is the best barmaid. Everyone likes her, she is a marvelous server. The atmosphere and prices top notch and staff soo nice. Great music, yummy food.

Harriet served me with the the best smile. The best smile best attitude. Best outfit knew the menu so well got me the perfect drink. Absolutely gorgeous 10/10 would recommend would smash

Can't explain in words how amazing this place is! For a Tuesday night, pouring down with rain (typically Wellington), it was such an ambient experience. The staff are friendly and nice, there is a variety in their drink selection, and they have a lot going on regarding weekly programmes! Love the throwback music tonight too!!! Really appreciated the act of kindness tonight though. Having spilt my beverage I was pretty much calling it a night, but the bar staff noticed what had happened and poured me a free drink which went above and beyond the customer service expected. Definite recommendation 🖖

This bar is awesome! I meet my friends regularly here as they have happy hour 5-7pm every day. The owner is super friendly and bought us out free food that was a mistake but let us have it anyway. They have open mic nights which are very good and lots of space so you're not surrounded by other groups. Love!

This bar is pretty big but I've never seen it full. The beer is OK, spirits mid-range too. Covered smoking area which is nice but above all, it's the staff. They're all friendly and helpful. It's no great shake but around that end of Courtney Place, it's still a good bar.

Fun atmosphere and really fun quiz night

I always enjoy live music. Of course you only stick around for stuff you like. The only problem was we turned up late and the music set was ending. We still got a few sing alongs going and with a good line up of Bourbons and a kiwi gin it was an enjoyable last set.

Ihad dinner here tonight with my friend. We had a very nice meal, nice drink and absolutely amazing service. My friend is suffering from noise intolerance after an injury to her brain. The bar tender (young man with British accent) was very understanding, hospitable, charming and went out of his way tomake sure we had a good time. Thank you so very much!!!!

Drag brunch was awesome

Service at lunch was pleasent staff were friendly and the buttermilk chicken burger tasted amazing. Also got curly fries and garlic and herb sourdough which was fantastic. Price was high but well worth meal and will be bringing back more friends next time

Been to Eva Beva a couple times now for their weekly quizes. The vibe is very nice and the staff are always friendly. The decor is a bit eclectic but it works very well, in my opinion the lights could do with being a bit brighter. Happy hour drinks are an absolute steal and the small plates are brilliant from what I've experienced. Would be very happy to return here again

While the atmosphere was great, I did find the live music quite loud.

Love how open the place is, tasty food, has a rustic and dated yet classy look and feel. Definitely on my go to list, can't wait to go again. Food is really good from what I've had.

After having a bad experience at a previous bar we actually went back here because the staff were so lovely and inviting (shout out to Charlotte) thanks guys for the service and great music 👌

Nice place with cheap daily deals. Pretty cool if you come with a group of friends you can seat around a table and have a bit of privacy. Went there around 10.30pm last Friday it was really empty don't know why.

The service was spectacular, particularly Harriet who was gorgeous and so nice the whole night, will definitely be coming back. Would recommend 10/10

always a great place to get a feed and a beer. tasty food and friendly staff. if you want a private area for a small group of mates, book out the board room. awesome

The beef sandwich is a great feed and good value for money. The tap beer choices are a bit limited - there's only one guest beer tasting and that was flat today

Dropped down a star as their tap beer is always below average, which was fine until they started charging normal/full price for it.

This visit was an improvement on when I last visited 2 years ago. Harriet, the bartender will give me reason to return. She was awesome.

Great happy hour, cheap food options, fun place to sit inside, plenty of things on to keep it interesting, smokers paradise out the front. Beer selection isn't exciting otherwise it would have 5 stars.

I can only review a couple of things, but the house special salted beef sandwich is YUM. The beef cooks 6 hours and they make the bread especially for that sandwich. Will definitely be going back for another :-)

Great bar. But was told happy hour drinks and was charged full price. Ran out of steaks early on so get in quick.

I was surprised by this place. The mocktails were yummy, the food was well made and tasty. I thought it'd be a bit cheap and nasty, but it had a bit of an x-factor that hit home for me.

Good service and nice privacy out in the back for a quite beer. The front space is social. They have meal deals most nights.. Burgers..chicken wings etc

Eva Beva was great. Trivia night was a hoot. The Beva Brew is very good and a great price. Don't kid yourself and just start with the 1.8L pitcher.
