Sunday dinner. Par rating. Food was standard. Environment has Definitely changed over the years. Could do with a face-lift. Reasonable prices food just scratched the pass mark.

The Realm is easily one of the better affordable restaurants in Wellington. I tried something new from The Realm in which I have never seen anywhere else. An extraordinary meal from a unexpected source. To say that this meal challenged my preconceptions about the concept of fine cooking is a gross understatement. They really nailed this Tomato Ellàmoùsch. I will definitely return for more Tomato Ellàmoùsch in the near future and highly recommend trying it if you haven’t.

We got ubereats from this place. The food was amazing. Pizza was tasty and not soggy. Wings cooked perfect and fries seasoned great. Priced reasonable as well.

Come here often as its my favorite spot for brunch. The big breakfast is really good, especially the creamy mushrooms. Also not a bad price

Service is always great here. I really must learn the main hosts name, as he's super friendly and makes it a real pleasure to visit. We often go a bit early to have dinner with the kids so for us the food is always quite quick to be served. Well priced and enjoyable. We shared the lava cake as a treat, and although a bit too runny, was still delicious. Main meals were very enjoyable too. Added bones there are a few screens around showing the current sport, which is nice, not too overbearing. Also a small lay area off the the side for families with toddlers, as well as some seating outside for a nice afternoon drink.

I loved it. Was going to go to the restaurant part but ended up just eating and staying in the bar area so this review is only for the bar. This is just your down the road and very down to earth local but with friendly and warm staff, great burgers, good prices and a good drinks range. I didn't use the restrooms but everything else seemed clean. And great little outdoor spot for some people watching with a ciggie and a drink. Go early to catch sun!

Cozy spot for some good drinks and dinner. The staff were very friendly, and the restaurant out back is nice. They have local tap and usually have weekday specials. The lamb was tender with very creamy mashed potatoes. The fish and chips had the option of being battered or breaded, and the breaded option was nice and crispy.

Always positive experience when I go to The Realm. Dropped in early Saturday evening no booking met at door by professional staff, seated immediately and order taken without delay. Place was open and tables will spread out, music in the background and respective video on screen, good for the big game. Went to try their entry into Wellington on a Plate the "Hangry Bird" The burger was quick to come out, everyone at the table enjoyed it. They have a kids menu and highchairs. Place is wheelchair accessible and friendly someone came in on a wheelchair and didn't seem to have any problems.

We had a family number's birthday meal here in the Igloo. just enough room for 8 but not the most comfortable seating. It's upstairs too which made it a little difficult for the older members of the family. Although it is 'all you can eat pizza' we only managed 5 between 8 of us so at $40 each worked out as very expensive pizza. However the young waitress was very attentive and courteous. The young birthday girl enjoyed it which was the reason for going. Would only recommend the Igloo if you were hungry enough to eat 2 pizza each.

Took wife, son, his partner and 2 year old granddaughter for evening dinner. Lovely meal. Noise volume probably a bit loud for the youngster but meal was nice and hot and plentiful. Enjoyable evening out.,

Food is really good with decent serving and unpretentious. The staff are warm and friendly. The mash is one of the main reasons I go there, it’s buttery and tasty and there’s a good size portion of it. We had it with the Salmon. The mushroom risotto was creamy and yum, it’s another favourite that we all love. It’s a place to go when you are hungry and want a decent meal that won’t disappoint. Its worth consideration for any function and the fireplace crackling in winter time is a welcome bonus. Parking is another drawcard as we always find a park easily both on site and in the street. Definitely going there more often.

Love our local! The happy hour beers and wines should at least get you through the door. If not the weekend breakfasts here are amazing. Always a special deal to be found on the menu most days. Staff are good for a laugh, and you can have a genuine chat with them without it feeling part and parcelof their job. Love the back bar and enjoying a beer in the sun on the deck out back!

Its been while since I was last there but the service was great and so was the food. Had an accident with my meal which ended up on the floor and they quickly cleaned it up and replaced my meal. brought back some good memories so thanks again and especially the great staff. See you next time.💯👍

Stopped in here for dinner as a friend works there and recommended the place. The food was great!! Really child friendly great play area for them. The waiter was quite young and did a fantastic job! The only down fall was the older blonde lady with glasses who was there doing the quizz night, we were trying to have a family dinner and shes dancing around our table constantly talking to us when she wasn't dancing she stood right by our table just watching us. It made us very uncomfortable she was asked several times to leave us alone and failed to so we ate as quickly as we could and left

We go once a week for lunch during the work day! The $6 brunch is great value for money! The staff are always so friendly, and they greet you like they know you. The creamy mushrooms are to die for! Great food, great service, great little local.

A terrific choice for weekend brunch. The menu is superb and keenly priced making it an excellent choice for a family weekend treat. The staff are very polite and attentive and the atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Start your visit off with a cup of their fine coffee and you will be set up for an excellent start to your day.

I dont even know where to start with this place.. I strongly recommend their wednesday and Friday special deals - 2 dishes for price of 1! I always go here with my colleagues and we order steaks, Its honestly one of the best steaks you'll ever taste and its only about $13!!! On thursday we order 2 pizzas for 1 so got two delicious pizza for $26! If you're in hataitai try this place!!

Provides all the essentials of a good pub including friendly staff with decent & affordable food & beverage. Its location is ideal for nearby sports-grounds where sports-people can go & chill after their matches. Public transport (bus) is steps away from the entrance making it an ideal place to drink, eat before catching the bus home, into the city, to the train station or airport.

Great place. Be aware that there are 2 areas. Out the back is a sports bar with good main meals including pizza, steak and awesome weekend fry up breakfasts. Out the front is a typical pub with pokie machines and a pool table. Some outside seating which gets good evening sun in the summer.

The service was good the staff were good, the stairs were difficult for me when I needed to use the bathroom and if I wanted something from the bar. This restaurant wasn't user friendly for those with disabilities or those who are vision impaired or completely blind.

$6 brunch of perfectly poached eggs on thick toasted hataitai bakery bread with a hearty serve of good quality bacon strips and a hash brown. Can't fault it :) the back bar has a nice old timber bar feel to it, with good natural light, i much prefer it to the front street facing part.

a very nice Pub in Haitaitai and the Barmanager Sam is very friendly!!! he earns 5* actually. you can sit outside, they have a kids corner and they have different things going on during the week for example billiards competition :)

Try the Smokey Jack.. its Awesome.. the nearest place from here that does decent pizza is Fidels. In Cuba street.. Heaven pizza acros from fidels is ok.. but anything around here.. is just.. bleh...
