Amazing craft beer and cider selection in Whakatane! After sampling a good range of craft beers in Auckland and the North Island, we we're really taken back by the quality, range and and strength of flavour of the drinks here. Friendly service, fantastic pizzas and a great family-friendly vibe too.

A fantastic family owned brewery, their ciders are delicious. Also pizza's are scrumptious including their gluten free bases which I have. Visited today 2nd time there for lunch, lovely people highly recommend!

Who would have thought Whakatane would end up with a local craft brewery? The scenery in the local industrial estate isn't much to write home about (there was a horse in the paddock across the road tho) but the beer more than makes up for it. Choose from easy drinking light beers to rich stouts with explosive flavor. If you like good beer you'll undoubtedly fine something to excite your tastebuds. There is indoor & outdoor seating with some areas under shadecloth. They also have some space for live music type events. There's also an extensive menu of beer snacks, small bites and semi-serious meals to pad your stomach while you sample their wares. You can choose from a tasting flight of four different beers, small or large glasses of individual beers on tap or 1.25L takeaway bottles. There's also bottled beer for any of the tap beer that's run out or not currently on tap.

Ahhh my local watering hole 😋 Highlights- you can get a beer/cider shall we call it train.. 4 flavors 4 cups on wheels. Staff are all super friendly food is great. Would give more than 5 stars if I could ⭐

High quality of beer and tasty food! We had beef nachos, loaded potatoes wages, pulled pork pizza and chicken brie cranberry pizza and It was all super delicious. Will be coming back!

This is a fantastic craft brewery with plenty of options on tap. Also plenty of food options, including some mean pizzas. We walked away with a half doz bottles of our own selection for $21. Perfect reward for walking the Nga Tapuwae o Toi track.

The toasted sandwiches seemed to take a few minutes too long to arrive, but they were freaking superb. Hot & crispy - even a stock standard ham & cheese was elevated by their "family recipe" mustard. Also, good ale & cider

What a refreshing idea, a brewery that allows you watch, taste and enjoy the products on offer. 12 different beers, with their own story, excellent service and very clean premises. Beer on tap, finger food what else do you need to relax after work. From the tastings room you look directly out to the brewing vats, and see the process at it is brewed.The staff are friendly and excellent. Differently a place to visit.
