A.Another great value tasty meal. We both had the scotch filet..lovely and tender. The ice cream sundae was a great finish to a good night. Very friendly staff. Our favourite restaurant out of all the clubs in Whangamata.
C.Great food,my hubby and I went for dinner it was delicious,and we are both hard to please when it comes to food!!I had lamb shank my hubby had seafood chowder and pork belly-yum!!!…..staff were lovely too.Will go back there for dinner next time,better than the other cafes!,trust me 👍
A.The people at Whangamata Club were so welcoming when we dropped by whilst visiting from Kapiti Coast. We were warmly greeted at the door, our credentials checked, red light protocols explained and then shown around the club.
We enjoyed our drinks in the sunny lounge area, where excellent wi-fi (unavailable at our accomodation due to patchy service) enabled us to catch up on a pile of emails!
Our meal was fabulous. My husband ordered salmon on potato mash and mine was yummy mussel fritters served with a delicious, fresh salad.
So thank you, Whangamata Club, for making our evening such a lovely experience- it’s the little things, like your friendly staff’s warm smiles, that make such a difference!!
K.Very comfortable club. "Big" screen for viewing sports. More than reasonable bar prices for members. Pool, snooker tables, darts boards and large dance floor. Restaurant available and snacks.
All in all, well worth a visit and membership.

R.This is a great place, friendly, exceptional food and service, very Kiwi styled. Pool & snooker tables, darts, bands on weekends. The manager is a great guy and his personality obviously permeates the place. Good sports TV venue. Thoroughly recommend. Air conditioning.
V.The food is great . The staff's at the bar are awesome and the place is huge. Lots going on everyday. There is always something to do for you and the kids.
E.Went to the beach hop and it was amazing great selection of craft, clothes, shoes, food and activities happening. Managed to get a park outside the club where they had a great array of gifts etc to look at. Met with several friends who also came to it.
K.The meals have improved, fresh fish and plenty, also delicious steak dinner with perfect chips and salad better than the resteraunts at Pauanui, also car very is very good. A good variety of music, entertainment on the weekend with dancing through Jan Feb March , discount prices for your drinks if your a member. 35$to join its worth it , also friendly people there , and staff are friendly and will help with any issue.
M.Went yesterday with my Mum and Sister. I hadn't been for a while and was pleasantly surprised by the change of layout. The drinks were really good and at good prices too. The staff were really good too. Especially the lady with the long red hair. We were in around 2.30 to 4.30pm.

J.One of the owners Kane Is an amazing guy, runs the bar to cater To all ages. Comfortable and welcoming. all the bar tenders are good vibes and look after customers with a smile. Definite best place to be!!!

R.Awesome place. Just started doing meals and they are epic. My eggs Benedict was perfect. 10/10 would reccomend. Please keep in mind it is a charter club, but 35 bucks a year sounds fine to me with what you get in return.
d.Love my local club but very concerned about the cats tipsy and tabsy who were born there 14 years ago and are honorary members and have bought so much joy and love to the place and members and guests, but sad to hear that they aren't being respected with the same love, only being fed when they close, disgusted!
A.Great. The meals are fabulous. I had lamb shank and it tasted just like it was home made, beautifully cooked with veges. My husband had chicken wings and he loved them. Keep it up Whanga Club chefs!

J.Always good food and a good place to go and hang out. Been here multiple years when visiting the beach hop and this is my go to location.
I.First time visit. Friendly and warm welcome. Had to sign in on arrival. Huge venue, which surprised me. Snooker tables, several bars, dining area, dance floor and stage. No frills decor and service. Buffet dinner and a la carte menu available. You order and pay at a counter and either get a plate for the buffet or are given a buzzer for when your order is ready. You collect your food and are expected to clear up after yourselves. Food was tasty and hot, which was a pleasant surprise considering how busy the dining area was. Cosy it's not but it was busy with families and large groups. Friendly and pleasant farewell. I'd be happy to go again.
N.Was only there briefly but was fabulous. The food ordered by those I was visiting was delicious looking and in taste too.

J.Great small town hospitality! A favourite with the locals. Had a lovely dinner at Restaurant 404. Both restaurant & bar prices were very reasonable, service was prompt. The Club is kept clean & tidy, the atmosphere is relaxed. There are several pool/snooker tables & darts available to use. Liam at the main bar is an awesome bartender, friendly & enjoyed a good banter. Major sports games are usually screened on the TVs dotted around the Club. The Club has membership on offer or you can gain entry if you belong to an affiliated club.

I.Family friendly venue where you can a beer, a meal, and enjoy a game of pool/snooker/darts/table tennis/lawn bowls. For members, many events are run daily, from line dancing to tai chi.
V.Club is a nice friendly place but definitely skip the food. Pork burger was tough as old boots and swiming in aioli. Recommend the chef changes to slow cooked pulled pork with coleslaw.
T.Great place to share any people, there are pool tables to play and fun. So it Whangamata RSA as well. Best place to attending.

K.Visited on a Thursday night. .....very quiet. Plenty of friendly staff on hand and we really enjoyed our very generous meal. We look forward to doing it again when next in the area.
B.Great atmosphere, don't bother coming if eating unless you have an hour to spare to wait, minimum, pool is great and cheap beers though
