A.Great place for food was well presented taste was exceptional!!! Ordered shrimp, prawn cocktail, chicken creamy mushroom pasta and pork belly !!! Was to die for highly recommend A++++ family enjoyed the experience very well Hidden gem👌👌 awesome staff, great service. Credit to eddie and the team!!! We’ll be back!!

H.Came here for the first time with my cuzzie and Aunty and had the best lunch. Lovely service from the beautiful Venus and really enjoyed our meals. Highly recommend ☺️

N.Our annual winter staff function was held at The Awanui Hotel on Friday 4th June 2021. Food was delicious and staff were very friendly and attentive. They also offered a curtsy van service that we also took advantage of. We enjoyed competing in pool and darts. Thanks so much, we will be back!

M.Awanui Hotel has always held great entertainment memories for me ranging from mid 70s to early 80s. In 2020 a revamp has started taking place and has caused quite the stirring for many of the locals around the north. I love the ambience and the memories that the new owner has leveraged by placing pics as wallpaper that has the past Awanui life on it. I visited it and enjoyed my time there. I did not have food there but noted how the food looked when it was being served and I sure knew I would be back to eat. We in NZ love our meat ,fries and salads

The awesome staff in the kitchen managed to get me and my partner a night in as we were passing through after a day at the Cape Reigna and camping 3 days before so tired to drive back to Auckland
Thank you for a nice overnight stay and our dinner was scrumptious
We will be back again soon for lunch

M.Went to try out the revamped Awanui pub for lunch. Very nicely done inside & very clean & tidy. Menu is your typical pub fare, food was excellent & good value & there is a kids menu.
C.Dropped in for lunch. Spare ribs were yum. Service was good. Well worth a visit.
