What a great place...A really relaxing place for a afternoon drink.Friendly staff and owner. They make really nice pizza's.

Enjoyed steinlager on tap on a hot day Super friendly locals..lovely staff that really made us feel comfortable

Excellent place to have a cold beer and good yarn. Ended up spending a lot of time here as it was fun and welcoming. Pizza was thin crust and yum. I'm not into horses but had a flutter from a locals tip which paid for my beer. Pretty solid band there one night.

Ok, but I find the tuatua tavern better

A solid small town bar with a wonderful bunch of locals frequently sharing stories and yarns. Has heaps of character and the prices are reasonable AF. Still not sure how you get a numbered beer glass here, every time I ask someone - I get a different story.

Great place to go have a beer, great atmosphere and the wood fire pizza's are primo!!

Very friendly staff, a great place to relax and enjoy a cold bevvie. The outdoor pizza oven is a hit as well as live bands and kareoke.

Great local tavern with TAB and Bottlestore. Great outdoor area and super Pizzas. Toilets need attention

First time going. Loved the vibe of everyone enjoying themselves . Sat outside under the shade sails enjoying the sun and company I was with.

An abominable hell hole of depravity. The kind of place where you couldn't trust your mother to behave in a responsible manner. I for one have been known to imbibe the occasional ale and bludge cigarettes from fat people in red hats at "The Table of Knowledge" at the backside of the building. Taipa Tavern is also renowned for the annual Pig, Possum and Eel competition at the end of June and several Fishing events throughout the year.

Handy for some,a good cosy pub, with friendly clientele, good for watching sports,and reasonable meals on certain occasions.Drinks are a little pricey, but average.
