Wow! Danny you deserve a gold medal. What a great owner, made us laugh from start to end, making us feel so welcomed. He even brought out to us 11 of his home made liquor to try! We ended up buying a bottle of port which was delicious. The world needs more people like you Danny. Amazing brewery and pizza delicious

Great brews here with super stellar service. Ample parking, indoor and outdoor seating and a playground right next door for the kiddies. Very efficient sign in and my vaccine pass scanning system. Food is yummy and fast. The can shape glasses are cool too!

An awesome eatery to stop with the kids after a great day at nearby beaches. The loaded nachos, pizza and fries all delicious. Really friendly team and great service. Even with the many safety rules imposed they do their best all with a smile and good humour. This was our second visit and will become a regular place to stop in.

Best tasting session at a winery/brewery ever! Staff on site were amazing even ……..::: with some terribly bad jokes. We will definitely return here every time in the area! Highly recommend stopping here if you are close by.

Fantastic Kiwi brewery! We had such a lovely time here. The pizzas were very good and of course the brews were great. We had such an informative and fun chat with the folks there and spent time playing board games. We were also given a free tasting of all the various wines, ciders, and liquors. We were very happy that we decided to spend a rainy afternoon at this lovely spot.

Great beers and liquors! Was there with my wife on a rainy day, nothing like good beer & a fantastic pizza (the pizza stand is just nest to the building). The pizza is made by a great guy who also makes an awesome Feijoa liqueur! Both very recommended!

Great restaurant / bar. We stopped here for a snack and were very happy we did. Food was delicious - mussels & beef nachos. The friendly man provided us with loads of entertainment and banter as well as giving us a lesson on feijoas along with a complimentary array of flavoured liquors nips.

The atmosphere here is great, and Danny is full of knowledge about pretty much everything! We had a pizza, beer and cider, then also got to try a ton of samples! There are games and lots of outdoor seating, so definitely stop if you're in the area.

Awesome Brewery, definitely worth a visit. Also has a large variety of food on the menu. Danny is quite the character and entertains with his knowledge. Tasting selection of liquors was unexpected but a nice touch at the end of our lunch. Will be back for sure.

Decent craft brewery & eatery in Whenuakite (not hot water beach) attached to a holiday park. The usual selection of beer types to be had, the XPA was particularly noteworthy for me. They have bar food (chips, burgers, burritos, tacos) with a kids menu and a pizza oven outside for freshly made pizza. I felt the beer was a little more expensive than other craft breweries I've frequented but you could argue the remote location is the reason for this. They also do takeaway 1.25L flagons but they just fill them up from the bar taps using a hose so they might not last as long as those filled in other breweries.

This wood fire pizza warmed us up so good in the rainy winter, right to the our hearts. Pizza chef was super hospitable and introduced the Feijoa fruit to us! Thin crust pizza, topped with chorizos, mussels and mushroom, the cheesy tomatoes base pizza was certainly delish! You can customise your own pizza. Definitely glad that we stopped by!

What a cool place. Had a really interesting beer tasting, delicious wine tasting... all yummy but I can highly recommend the plum wine and the port especially. The pizza was so good and I love the idea you can build your own. Definitely worth a stop ...it would be a shame to miss the experience.

Feb 11, 2021 My wife and I are sitting here in our living room in Vancouver. We just opened a bottle of Feijoa Liqueur which we purchased at the Hot Water Brew Pub in April 2019. Nice beer and surroundings, worth the 20 minute drive from Tairua or Whitianga. Had 5 of their own beers on tap, plus a couple of other beers from the region. Friendly service, even when quite busy. Food was good, but not great, otherwise would have been 5 stars.

Best pizza ever! Go for the beer stay for the pizza. Great set up. Super friendly hosts, very fun. There is so much to know about feijoas and Joseph Stalin. After such a great afternoon we were thinking we need to stay a night there the next holiday so we can really make the most of it. We were also treated to a tasting platter of liquers and shots! First time we have had that. Excellent tastes and everyone found something they loved and wanted to take away with them.

We stayed in at Hot Water Brewery in our Caravan, Jan 2020 and LOVED our holiday! The front desk staff were not only helpful but friendly and lots of fun. They were quick to get to know us and were always on site working hard when we needed assistance with anything. Their hard work and positive attitude totally made our holiday and we shared lots of laughs along the way. Thanks again girls! Other highlights were having a full brewery, bar and food service onsite within walking distance so we could get a hot meal or a cold drink when we didn't feel like cooking our selves. This made a huge difference to our stay. And last but not least... as there were multiple types of accommodation available at this venue, our over seas friends who didn't have a caravan were able to book into the lodge and join us for part of the holiday. Perfect spot, close to all the beaches and great onsite facilities P.S they cleaned the bathrooms from top to bottom daily and you can get hot running showers for as little as $0.50 a wash - bargain!!!! We will be back again next year for sure Sarah & Brad

It was such a nasty day and we really needed to grab something quick on our way to a movie. Hot Water Brewing Co was right between the B&B we stayed in and where the movie theater is. We had a really great time though -- what a lucky chance! The food was good, beers great, and staff even better. Definitely recommend.

I had the mussels and they were very delicious! Their brewed beers were quite nice. The staff was pretty friendly and fast! My friends had their burgers and they all finished their plates without talking haha (that's a good sign🙂) I would recommended the place. They also have a good wifi! They could work on the decor of the place though...

On an east coast harley ride this place was 1 of our planned stops,,so glad we did and even happier that we now know of this place.the sun was out,the ride was good.and the the guys an gals of east coast harley needed a rest,,awesum menu,,great service,friendly staff,,I'm not a craft beer drinker but their lager was so good I had to have another,,maybe the prices were a lil up there but I never heard any complaints an I would reccomend going there,,il definitely go back when I'm over ther again

Good beer and good food. Their mussels are huge (at least, speaking as an American). For beer, I tried their salt water blonde (a refreshing lager), their about time ipa (pretty good!), and their XPA (not my favorite). They also sell some ciders/liqueurs made from feijoa here. The man said a feijoa is called a guava-pineapple in the US (never heard of that myself), and it tasted very tropical and fruity. In the feijoa-apple cider, the apple flavor prevails, but the feijoa adds an extra sweetness to it. Would recommend if you're looking for something sweeter.
