We had the pleasure of working with Monique Barker at Barfoot&Thompson Takapuna when we needed a fixed term rental for 6 months in 2019. This was our first time as tenants in New Zealand – we were fresh of the boat from Denmark – so we had a lot of questions and concerns, all which Monique handled swift and professionally. Monique made us feel at ease throughout the whole process from start to finish, and took the time to explain when needed. Moving to a new country is challenging, so really appreciated having her assisting us with our initial housing situation. We give her and B&T Takapuna our best recommendations.

I would like to share how happy me and my family is with Takapuna branch of Barfoot & Thompson, especially our property manager Monique Barker. We have been renting property in Takapuna. Great, fast and straight forward communication with agent. Eny issue we had so far were fixed in timely manner and more than efficient. Great in every way. Won't change them.

I've based my stars on my most recent dealings with them. First off I emailed an agent on the Saturday evening, and received probably an automated reply saying that they would be in touch. I was expecting a reply on Monday, but the day came and went. No contact. By 1pm on Tuesday I rang the office and got put through to Sarah O'Neil. I explained the situation to her and she said that she would be round within 10 minutes. Now that's what I call customer service!!. Sarah has been a delight to deal with, so now we'll have to wait for the outcome. Sarah is a great 👍 example to others Since writing this review we have sold the house, thanks to the hard work done by Sarah and the auctioneer who did a FANTASTIC job. Thoroughly recommend Sarah at Barfoot and Thompson Takapuna.

My business seeks to introduce large contract management practice into the private sector in order to save investors from large amounts of visible overspend. The Barfoots model and especially your branch has been the most effective conduit for these cost savings. Barfoot And Thompson Takapuna, definitely the best team to manage your property. I am a plumbing contractor working with several property managers at the branch and Monique Barker has been my main point of contact since the start. She is very experienced in what she does, providing above standard service to both the owner and the tenant. Monique is easy to deal with, efficient and looks to sovle every issue quickly and at a high standard.

With my family we rent a property from Barfoot & Thompson Takapuna for 5 years. The top management of Barfoot Takapuna are really professional and we had an excellent experience. But unfortunately the end of this journey wasn’t nice due to the last property manager, Monique Barker. The co-operation with her was the worst experience by far in our whole life! She is too unprofessional, too inexperienced, she does not know how to handle difficult situations, she is loosing it under pressure and she is too rude! Please be careful of her, she could create a problem to you like she has done to us .

One year has passed and it has been pleasure working with you Monique BARKER and B&T, we thank you for going the extra mile on ensuring our 1st time renting was looked after to the best of your ability, thank you for information and communication which was punctual. During the COVID 19,you still been helpful from a distance and we thank you and B&T.

I appreciate Kseniya helping me out when the unit had issues with the lights not working. It was easy to get in touch with her, and I was happy she sent someone over to have it fixed shortly after I reported it. I’ve been satisfied with the communication and assistance received. Thank you.
