M.From the day of our viewing the team at The rent shop - manukau have been nothing but amazing! So kind & very responsive. We had an issue with property so reached out to the emergency line, they had one of the fastest responses we have experienced to sort our issue. The team then went an extra step further and contacted professionals to handle it all for us within two days. I am so impressed with how this team support tenants in hard times. The care they have for people is what you would expect with a rental agency. Thank you team for making our move it a lot easier and stress free.

The Rent Shop has been great so far. The only feedback I would give is to have face to face meetings for signing tenancy agreements. Or at least have it as an option I know some people prefer everything digital. I think it opens up the tenant - property manager relationship and then keeps communication lines open. It's just nice to know who you are talking to when you call/message your pm.
Kelsey is our pm. She's been helpful with our move. I think just having an emergency number to call would be good so we should be able to get a hold of her whenever we need or if she's on holiday that we have other numbers to call. Other than that she's been great so far.
Also, please get more trailers!!! I was so excited that we could use a trailer for free when we moved in and then so disappointed to be told that the trailer was booked out for a whole month. I'm sure for people who have been planning their move for some time could have booked it but for those who only get confirmed move in a week before it's kind of hard to book the trailer
t.I have been working with Nina since the start of this year. She is professional, lovely and really family orientated. She works for you and helps get family's into homes! I'm a first time renter and she got a beautiful house for us so you're looking, look no further!

M.Nina Bhatia is our property manager. She has been fabulous throughout her time managing our rental property.
She has made sure improvements or maintenance to the property have been done swiftly and efficiently (healthy homes improvements and heat pump installed, plumbing issues etc) and we are deeply appreciative of this especially throughout the colder months as our rental property can be quite cold being an older home. We have lived in our rental property for nearly 8 years and we have finally got a property manager who listens to our concerns, takes them seriously and works towards impoving them as fast as possible- with ongoing communication.
She is very understanding, empathetic and takes into consideration the fact that work, personal circumstances and unforseen events can pop up and she is super flexible which I truly am thankful for. Recently my daughter was admitted to hospital with severe injuries to her face due to a dog attack and my routine house inspection was due... I was really stressed , anxious and worried naturally, and things were full on at the time. I didnt want to leave my daughters side as she had to undergo surgery. Nina was so kind and compassionate and was happy to re arrange the inspection for another date and was happy to shuffle things around in order to accommodate us and wished us well in my daughters recovery. Its things like this that help us as tenants to feel that we are not "just tenants" we are human too.

Heather has be extraordinary all the way through in trying to assist the tenant with a solution & suggestions with letters delivered to the tenants letterbox & emails, texts & unanswered mobile calls. Heather has always kept us informed during the entire lengthy process. We are very impressed with Heather's continual updates to us. We've sold the property in October 2020 and Heather is still persuing the debts for us.

L.I would like to thank Sandy and Emily for taking over my properties that were managed previously by a Real Estate. Once I had completed the forms that were delivered to me the whole transition process was seamless and painless. One property was tenanted the other had been renovated and was empty for weeks. Unfortunately we went into Lev 4 2 days after The Rent Shop took over. To my surprise a tenant was found and signed up over Level 4 and as soon as we went into Level 3 they moved in. My only regret is that I hadn't made the move to The Rent Shop sooner!
