I was looking for the rental property and my property manager was Anna Hawker. I and my husband are just 500% happy with her. We highly recommend Bayleys and Anna to every one. The whole process of Bayley from the beginning to the fianl steps is very easy, professional and fast and especially, Anna was just the best property manager we've ever met. She is very helpful and considerate to tenants, easy to contact with no late respond and even very friendly as well. Although, we could not go longer with the contract for some reasons, we still definitely want to use Bayley again and also meet Anna as my property manager again if there is any future chance:)

Lisa and her team were so professional right from the initial appointment. Bayleys were not interested in finding any tenant but spent a couple of weeks showing 28 groups through our property to find us the very best tenant. After each viewing we received an email or a call to tell us they did not believe the right person had inspected the townhouse and the applications that did come through were just not to Bayleys standard. We would much prefer the very best tenant opposed to rushing to get an extra weeks rent and have issues down the track. Our tenants have been settled for 3 months and everything is running so smoothly. Such a relief to know our investment is in such good hands

Almost without exception the agents themselves were arrogant and condescending which just added to the angst this process generates. Not so with the team from Bayleys. I made contact and was invited to the obligatory viewing facilitated by the very pleasant and courteous Jennifer Chun. Within 24hrs I had completed the online application (Bayleys have an excellent website), and Jennifer immediately actioned it contacting my referees within the same day. My referees told me that they were impressed with not only Jennifer's pertinent questions but also her professional manner. I attended a meeting the very next day at Bayleys Christchurch office with Matthew Curtis, Senior Operations Manager, to sign the contract for my flat and to receive the keys. Matthew was great and spent the time to go through the contract with me and answer any questions I had. My rental properties were managed by Harcourts (Looking for Rentals) by Becky Wilson Scott. She did an amazing job finding me tenants and had a fantastic relationship with them. Then for some reason Looking for Rentals sold their franchise to another company, and Becky went along too, after awhile when I needed some information about my tenants I contacted this company and was told that Becky was no more with them and I was extremely disappointed the way they handled matters and I immediately decided to leave them and find Becky. Any issues which arose throughout our tenancy were resolved promptly, often without question of how or why it became an issue. Although we are now moving into a house we have purchased, if we were ever in a position again where we needed to rent, I would look to use BPM if possible.
