S. G.We flew into Nelson and we came here for a day of rest after fling over 24 hours. We were met with sure kindness. We got are keys and was given some milk for are coffee. The rooms were very clean bed was comfortable and the hid-away bed was great also. We all showered and the bathroom was very tidy. The place had a very nice back yard next to the pool. Nice playground for the kids. The owner was extremely nice for we had not gotten any currency yet so we had no cash for the washing machine. He kindly gave us some money to do are laundry ! I would do one back if I was ever in the area!
M. L.After a long drive from up the West Coast with the kids this was a real wonderful place to find. The playground and swimming pool are awesome! Very friendly hosts. Room exceeded our expectations. Clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay here again next time in Nelson!

After a disastrous 1st night on Nelson elsewhere Gaye was able to accommodate us at short notice.
Although we didn't use the pool or any of the children's play equipment, too cold, it all looked well maintained.
Sky TV & free WiFi were nice bonuses
W. B.Talk about just an awesome place to stay. The rooms were nice and plenty of space for us all. We all loved the pool, the kids loved the playground and they just adored the dog. So gentle and friendly.
We'll definitely be back.
C. &. C. B.Enjoyed our stay! Cobber went out of his way to accommodate us with our mountain bikes by locking them up in his garage. The location is amazing and quick little walk to the beach! Beds are SO comfortable! Only negative is that the tap water isn't very cold to drink. Will go again!
A. B.We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment and found it spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the unit was serviced daily. There's a small swimming pool and a great area for the kids to play with a small flying fox, 2 trampolines and other toys. The motel is about 8 mins from the city center and has a couple of dairies with walking distance.

M. L.Spotless, comfortable and well appointed motels with wonderful hosts. My family and I stayed for a week over New Year........the pool and the playground were a bonus. It's not often one stays where the host cleans your car windows for you!! :-) We will be back!

Facilities - Clean and well appointed. An older (1970s/80s) decor that provided a peaceful environment. I loved the swimming pool. And I was impressed with the playground (suitable for up to 12 year old's) with its flying fox and trampoline and other equipment. There was a lovely barbecue area.
Would I stay there again. YES! Wish I could have stayed longer.
C. A.Great Motel in Nelson. The rooms are clean and tidy and it's in a good location for the airport and that end of town. Additionally the rooms are well laid out and have power points located near the bed and they feature USB ports to charge your phone and other electronics

S. a. P. S.I Often stay here, love the playground and pool (in summer) for the kids. The rooms are clean and tidy. Only downfall is they get very hot and stuffy in the warmer months.
B. R.Spent 10 days travelling the South Island, choosing motels of similar price. Fountain was by far the best in every respect. Very clean, warm and quiet. Nothing seemed a bother to our hosts.
