We rented with Summit and Sam Burling, the property manager, was always responsive to our needs. The rental home came to us immaculate. Really appreciated that after coming from the Auckland housing market. If you ever can work with Sam (as someone who wants to rent their home or is renting) I highly recommend her!

I had been dealing with Summit since 2016. I rented my first house in NZ with Summit and after about 6 months I met Sam Burling as my property manager. She is professional, kind, always on time. We stayed as a tenant for 2.5 years and she was responsive when ever required. Her inspections are always high standard. After moving on, she always helped us in our personal references and other stuff. Being as her tenant for long time, we got impressed with her services and now I would recommend her for being a property manager for own property as well. In short I would say, for me Sumit is SAMit...keep working hard u rock in Nelson

She is totally professional in her approach; keeps me informed of any issues, ensures that the property is maintained at a high level, and leases to tenants who look after the property. It was a pleasure from the start being a tenant with Pauline Harris as property manager. She was always cheerful, and upfront and clear in her communications. Any issues were responded to promptly, in a manner that was fair to both me as tenant and the property owner. She was always diligent in inspections, ensuring that nothing fell behind and that the property was well maintained. No matter how busy she was, she always took time to chat. Pauline was always both professional and personable. She's someone i would be happy to recommend to anyone considering renting out a property.

Sam Burling has been our property manager for our property in Tahunanui for several years before now putting it on the market. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is looking at getting a property manager - she has always been so easy to contact, great communication, has helped through several insurance payouts for bathroom and earthquake repair's and has always been so knowledgeable and practical when it comes to maintenance and upgrades. It has been great to be able to put my trust in Sam since I don't live in Nelson and I was always confident that she looked after the house/my investment. Not only this but she treated the tenants so well and builds great relationships - she definitely goes above and beyond and absolutely recommend.

We cannot fault Summit. They have managed our rental property since 2006 and the service has always been outstanding. Not only do they do the routine checks extremely well and follow up on the smallest problems they also handle major issues with a minimum of fuss, and a high degree of professionalism - always keeping us in the loop. One definite plus is that we have just one person attached to our property - in our case Jane Allred (originally), and for the last few years Lydia Mckenzie. We can't speak highly enough of both staff and the relationship between us and them is just as it should be. Just great.

People say property is a passive investment, I think that is untrue, there is always something going on. Lydia from Summit, has been managing our residential rental properties in a highly professional manner for several years. She has identified maintenance issues and arranged quotes from experienced tradesmen, dealt with a fencing dispute with a neighbour and made sure the rent is paid.
