Real authentic Italian place with all the Italian pride but very humble. Food was amazing as well as the service. Head chef and the owner of the restaurant Roberto and his lovely wife are very friendly and caring. The ambiance is beautiful and foods are made of fresh products. Very nice wine! The price is very reasonable ($26-30) for a main. One of best Italian restaurants I’ve been in New Zealand.

Pizza absolutely amazing, service was great. I would of give 5 stars if the pasta was home made and not bought in but thanks to covid and staff shortages they said they weren't able to do this right now. I wish I had asked before I had ordered but nevermind, the sauce was still great and we will return for more pizza.

Unexpected Italian cafe in Arrowtown. Amazing and authentic food. Loved the pizza i had with some pasta. Also the coffee was soo nice.i had a flatwhite and nothing could be better. The feel and hospitality was good too.

Very good Italian food. This place in Arrowtown is quintessential Italy! The pizza and pasta is excellent and there is a great wine list from both Italy and local. The space feels like you are in Naples - and it’s fitted with lots of authentic Italian paraphernalia. The staff are so friendly and helpful and make you feel more like family than customers (in a good way)

Just came here for dinner with my parents this evening and had to write a review. Lovely service and the best pizza I have had in a long time! Staff were welcoming and were very accommodating to vegan and vegetarian requests. Lovely wine too - thanks for a beautiful evening :-)

Pizza dough was very good, but the price and flexibility wasn’t that good. It’s not possible to change or switch any ingredients which is kind of sad.

Overall the experience at this restaurant was mediocre. The Arancini balls were very delicious. However, when it came to our mains, they came out at different times (10mins apart) even though we specified that we wanted the pasta and pizza to come out together! Quite disappointed, and the staff mentioned nothing. The pizza base was yum, but there were very few toppings and quite tasteless. The cannelloni that my fiance had was tasty but very small and overpriced for what it was. The tiramisu was a perfect way to end the meal! Such a shame that this restaurant was average. It has the potential to be great!

Stunning genuine Italian food. Complimentary olive bread to start with which was amazing. We went on gnocchi night and so had ragu gnocchi. The best gnocchi I've ever had.

We’ve had panini sandwiches, the fillings were tasty and fresh but the panini, omg was the best. I don’t know what kind of coffee they use but roasted very well, it was very nice and tea as well. Definitely should try the tiramisu, you would get the second one. Service was friendly. Thank you.

Spent 5 weeks in Italy and had some pretty average pizzas with one place in Naples, of all places, that really stood out. I'm proud to say little old NZ has captured one of the best. Terra Mia in Arrowtown provided us with a truly authentic Italian experience good food, great Italian wine and really friendly authentic staff. Really enjoyed our dinner and would recommend them in a heat beat.

The pizza was excellent! Tasted like Rome :) I’ve been trying to find traditional pizza around NZ and this is the first spot where I’ve found it. From the moment you walk in you can smell it’ll taste great (if that makes any sense). Highly recommend it.

What a surprise! It’s been ages since I’ve had delicious Italian food. We tried pizza and gnocchi and special sweets recommended by the owner. Desserts were cherry on top and absolutely special. Loved it!

A very nice spot to stop for lunch. The food was fresh, flavorful, and high quality. Portion sizes were good. The build your own panini option seems light on fillings with picking three options from the list, but actually works very well allowing the flavors to all be tasted and enjoyed with every bite. The pasta is delicious, cooked to al dente with lovely flavors in the sauce. The staff were friendly and attentive. The prices in the menu may seem a little in the high side, but they accurately reflect the quality of the food.

Simone is by far the best Pizzaiolo of the South Island... and Alberto the best Napoletan host I’ve ever met ... the pizza is simply outstanding anywhere around the QUeenstown area ... it’s a pleasure to be a regular ... 🙏❤️

I loved this place! We took our young daughters and they thought it delicious also. The pizza was divine! And the treats in the cupboard.... Amazing. The servings were of a very good size... My pizza was large. But due to the taste I finished it all. But mostly, the service. They were excellent. We apologise again for the broken glass... I would travel time and time again for Terra Mia.

Surprised at some of the poor reviews. I've ordered takeaway pizza this week and today dropped in for a post run coffee and cake. All food and drinks were top quality and the range of cakes is amazing, including gluten free, paleo etc. Haven't spent a lot of time in Italy I found the food here to be excellent Well done Terra Mia team

Stopped off for lunch while visiting Arrowtown. The food was so good. Homestyle authentic Italian - simplicity at its best. Just good quality ingredients cooked with love. Can’t wait to go back for more pizza and aglio olio.

Found the breakfast very ordinary, with not much flavour to it. Had to add extra salt and pepper to appreciate the meal. Apart from that, as a Brazilian I must say that the songs being played had nothing to do with an Italian kitchen and many of them were even inappropriate with the lyrics. Also, could tell that was a brazilian waitress who could tell we were from the same country and all the time made sure to speak English to us. Overall, I would not recommend the place.

This restaurant deserves for any sort of compliments. Visited for wife's birthday dinner. Authentic Italian that you'll never find elsewhere in the region. Super friendly and wonderfully engaging staffs, thank you especially Murad (sorry we didn't get the other names) for making our occasion very special.

Best Italian Food and best Food in a vast range of kilometres! It's a gem in the gem of Arrowtown city/village. You are surrounded by beautiful mountains along the corse of a river in an historic mining place where you visit untouched protected buildings stack at that time. And in the middle of all of this a real Italian restaurant/pizzeria in the middle of the city centre 15 minutes far from Queenstown. Delicious food all authentic and beautiful environment and landscape!

I order the meatball panini with side of polenta fries which was quite good. Also ordered the antipasto plate for 2. The plate was a bit small for two people and the salami was clearly old as noticed by the colour and taste.

The staff were welcoming amd we have some fantastic italian food, drinks and treats. A special mention to the gnocchi special of the day - truly an enjoyable dish. Out for a visit to Arrowtown on Boxing Day with family and chose to go in this café. So disappointed and annoyed to see a '15% Public Holiday Surcharge' sign so just got coffee. "Public holiday surcharges are just a free pass to boost income" Quote of Finance Mgr/Bus Adviser based in Wanaka - 26/12/19 Rated 3 stars because the coffee was good but not interested in food with the sour taste of greed!
