Best place to have breakfast in between the road trip from Christchurch to lake tekapo. It has a plenty of parking options and many more store near by. WCs are clean and tidy. Usually busy place around 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A special thanks to Mc Donald’s for having kids happy meals 😉 ! It makes trip smoothly with kids having in the cars 🚘.

Friendly staff and we've never had to wait long in the drive through. However they don't put enough or any onion in their cheeseburgers and sometimes there are no pickle in the Big Mac's or Cheeseburgers so we have to ask for extra onion just to get any.

A bit of a wait but all goods as I was on solo road trip back to Christchurch to spend Christmas break with my Mum and was craving and hungry for McDonalds and was really thankful the Ashburton McDonalds was open in the early morning I got there on a Saturday or Sunday…staff were supper cool and friendly and was stoked to get my order from a friendly person as well 💜💜💜🤟🏽🤟🏽🤟🏽

I mean, it's a maccas, not much to say. Except that the Staff have a sense of humor, went in with my mates with one of them in a french maid costume and the manager came out to have a yarn and compliment him on the getup, so that was something.

Visited here on my last trip to Ashburton. This McDonalds was clean and very well kept. It is a good McDonalds with what you would expect in in terms of a comprehensive range of drinks and meals. All food and drinks are of very good quality and taste. The staff were good to talk to and seemed quick and efficient at their jobs. Car parking was no problem.

Been here many times. Never had any problems with missing food items and that sort of jazz. Staff are rather friendly. Sometimes the cleanliness of the restaurant isn't always up to scratch, but naturally that normally happens during peak sort of hours and it is understandable. But there is always a clean place to sit! Definitely recommend this place, the location is also quite convenient.

Enjoy my visits here. Kid friendly and having a cup of coffee while the kids play in the designated area seems to be very do able idea. Staff is friendly and there is self order electronic menu screens, which takes the pressure off.the consumer.

He counted the number of nuggets wrong and I ended up with 5 more than I ordered so I guess it's not all bad.

Good god where do I begin? I had to ask for the young mans name who made my food the other day and he goes by the name 'Lester'. It was an ordinary day, I was a little down however so I thought it was fitting to dampen my mood even further by going to McDonald's. But to my amazement as I got my breakfast meal and the food hit my taste buds I was hit with a little bit more than a microwaved pancake, I was hit with a life changing experience. The food was so incredible that I went to run and tell my friends but as I was accelerating away I slipped over and banged my head then fell into a deep coma, during which I saw the light. As this astral projection unfolded I was approached by our lord and savior Jesus Christ. I looked at him and asked, "Why is it I fell over and hurt myself?" To which he replied, "You have been injured so that the food of Lester may be seen through you, your story will bring attention to the food served by Lester in the McDonald's kitchen." After this encounter I found myself back in my physical body with guess who over me, Lester. Giving me cardiopulmonary resuscitation to bring me back. I'm grateful to the lord for enabling me to experience the food from Lester and I hope everyone reading today will go to McDonald's Ashburton to get the trip of a lifetime.

I was greatly satisfied with this poor service. I was coming in on a sunny tuesday, rainy Monday and I was confused. I decided to order a wicked wings lunch until the lovely drive through operator spoke to me through the heavenly kiosk "this is McDonald's hunny not kfc" and with the words "hunny" I instantly felt so homely and secure at this mc donalds. He offered a beautiful chicken salad and it was given to me about 1 second after I last ordered it. I went to the second window and got to see this godsend of a person in person. All my dreams had come true. I couldn't believe it. It was master Darren. He gave me the opportunity to demolish some chicken and since I love chicken I loved it (pun intended) Darren should get a pay rise. Of about $21 per hour (after tax) and I believe macfonalds will gain about 2% more customers if this man gained an increase in pay. I was incredibly satisfied with his service. Xxxxx

I can't put into words the gratitude I feel towards the man who was in the driveby window when I went through this morning for a snack. Precisely at 9:30AM, I made my way into the drive thru and was welcomed by an angelic voice that came through the kiosk, asking me what I would like to order. I lingered on a few thoughts "Should I order a Big Mac combo or a quarter pounder?". The man piped through the other end and put forward a recommendation that was second to none. "In my opinion, you should order the McChicken as it is lighter on the stomach". I obliged and decided to order what he had put forward. As I pulled around the corner, this man that I later found out to be named 'Darren' greeted me with a smile and a simple yet effective "how are you today?". And proceeded to hand me the eftpos machine at the first window. For a second his hand touched mine and I was overcome with emotion, I had made it. He handed me my receipt and I proceeded to continue my journey on towards the second window. The rest of my journey is blank as I was still mesmerised at the events of which had just occurred at the previous window. I cannot thank McDonald's Ashburton enough for providing me with an opportunity of meeting such an inspiring, beautiful and caring young man.
