A.Friendly staff, delicious food (recommend the Tokyo burger), some nice beers too
E.What an awesome wee place! Friendly staff right from the start and a lit fire was a warm welcome too. Drinks are at a reasonable price, all served with a smile. Recommendations were offered by the very friendly team member and water delivered but only after our second wine. Water from the start is always a nice touch as many people drive and are conscious in that regard. Food we had was nice, with the beef stew looking like a nice hearty meal for a cold winters evening. I think I would have preferred my meal a little hotter (temperature) but that’s a personal preference. Blankets are offered for all patrons to keep warm which is another nice touch. Music was pleasant and loud enough to be heard but not over powering. Personally I thought, $12 for the popcorn chicken (5 pieces) was a tad overpriced. As a local here is nice to discover a watering hole within walking distance that won’t cost and arm and a leg. All in all - A nice experience, I would recommend and also come back.
M.Amazing, the waitress was very attentive and friendly and the manager fabulous at offering an alternative to a drink that wasn't available. Definitely go there again - soon
n.Great place to catch up with family and friends. The food here is simply delicious and full of flavour. The pizzas are one of best I had in town. Special thanks to the awesome chef in the kitchen. Service is great Too. Would definitely recommend it for Anyone looking for a cozy place to chill.

A.There are not many places in this area where you can enjoy a nice sit down lunch ..... A great menu, a nice light atmosphere with comfortable seating ..... Sam looked after us very well ..... We were most impressed and appreciative of the attention he gave us ..... It is very close to the Mount Albert train station and bus stop ..... If you happen to be passing by do stop in ..... Enjoy
B.The good: Mondays are BYO wine with no corkage fee!
The not so good: Popcorn chicken came with a mayonnaise+chipotle tasting dip instead of sriracha dip as stated on the menu. Looked through the condiments table but there was no sriracha sauce.
D.Nice environment, friendly staff. Fairly small beer selection, though.
O.Delicious espresso martinis. Very cosy atmosphere and great service. Lots of people here for a drink before going to Eden Park for the game. Want to come back here and try some food, bookings recommended.
A.Service was very good, special little area for the kids to play and watch Netflix. Would definitely go back again.

A.Had a great time at this pub, they have a great selection in terms of food as it also caters for vegetarians and vegans. Not overly pricey compared to other pubs. The pub quiz was very enjoyable with a very friendly host. It held a homely atmosphere, my partner and I enjoyed our time there. We did find a few things that could be improved on. On both occasions, we noticed that on arrival no waiters/waitress came to serve us water or give us our menus after we were seated. We had to wait for a while until someone came to get our order. The second time we came, our orders were forgotten (we understood that it was getting busy during this period). The staff were apologetic and got to our orders straight away. Still enjoyed our night.
s.Me and my friends had an amazing time at The Alberts. We were fabulously welcomed by the lovely waitress (sorry i forgot to take a note of her name). She had a lovely smile on her face always😊.The price is really reasonable. The food is really good!! Great ambiance inside the place with a lovely decor. More than everything it looked really clean!!

W.Entrees were overall good: very nice spicy chicken wings, and good chicken karaage however dry, very average calamari. Mains were all average. $4 fizzy drinks pretty good value for being a restaurant, could still be bigger. Did not stay for dessert.

N.The staff is the gem of this place! We were there on Wednesday, and both guys at the counter were most helpful, friendly and accommodating. Always there when we needed them, and happy to assist with the cake as we were celebrating a birthday. The online booking worked perfectly for us, and the place itself is a pretty balance between bar and cosy cafe atmosphere. Food and beers were up to the standard, the tables clean and the music not overwhelming. Enjoyed our time there and will definitely recommend it!

L.Tuesday $15 burger deal was deelish. Ordered Louisiana buttermilk chicken burger and it did not disappoint, came with fries/salad.
Only disappointment was when friends ordered creamy seafood chowder, was not creamy and only had fish and veges, had no seafood at all...was more like laksa consistency...so was disappointing 😕

D.Great place! Me and my partner are only in Auckland for less then a week and we have already made plans to visit again before heading home. Such a chill environment and the staff were super friendly 👌
S.Ok so far I've only been there once. I'll go back again and edit this if it's warranted. Mediocre pizza cooked by chefs who most probably didn't grow up on this food. No love. Tasted ok and forgettable. Wine list isn't great but there are at least regions of NZ represented outside of Marlborough. Atmosphere: a little too much in the way of overhead, direct lighting and some awful blue neons that sucked away any chance of ambience nearby. Overall? A fail. But a mild fail. Will go again next time I can't be bothered getting out of my ugh boots and am hungry. Also their smallest table is beyond ridiculous small!
K.Fabulous family owned Bar/Restaurant on the main drag of the Mt Albert shops. Friendly staff, fresh tasty food and fabulous drink selection. They have hit the mark for families with the kids room which has colouring, Netflix, floor cushions and the list goes on. They really have thought of everything to make it a pleasant experience for young and old.

C.I attended a friend's 21st birthday dinner at Albert's Post and the service was awesome! 😊 The staff were very hospitable and approachable (shout out to the lovely guy with the A+ moustache who served us). The food also arrived very quick and was very tasty! Thank you heaps for a good night!
R.Awesome restaurant and bar in the old post office building. Great staff, good food and drinks. Live the kids area off to the side with toys, drawing, movies and cushions to recline on and they love it too making it a very enjoyable night out.
A.Was there for a knitting group, and dinner. Nicely laid out, given its not a large area - doesn't feel cramped or crowded, comfortable chairs & tables. Meals are reasonably priced, large servings, came very quickly, even with a large group.
Service was friendly and efficient.

C.Not normally in this area, so googled for pizza on our way home from Mt Eden. Alberts came up with decent reviews so made our way over. Roadworks and parking are a challenge at the moment but totally worth it. Food was fast, great atmosphere, service friendly, and bill reasonable. Manages to cater to families without that twee family restaurant feel. Recommended

D.Awesome in every way, there hot sharing platter says for 2-4 it should say for 6 or more and the ribs at 24 bucks are half a pig and fall off the bone, class food from a class place with great relaxed service, a real credit to the industry
T.Staying at an air bnb taking the kids to the Auckland Zoo. Found this cute bar and it was just what we needed. Great Pinot Gris for mum, enough options on the menu to suit anyone and flexible to tailor the dishes to individual requirements. Great kids play area for the kids. Well priced and Sam the bar person gave genuine service that was spot on. We are in the hospitality industry and we are proud of what NZ has to offer. Would definitely return.
D.Very quick service, the lamb was practically falling apart soon as I touched it, it was that tender. I especially enjoyed the atmosphere inside with the live band. Overall both I and my fiancé were incredibly happy with our experience here and will be coming again to this small gem!
E.I love the range of beers and the price is good. Food isn't anything spectacular but solid. Thin crust pizza, crunchy beer battered chips are the go tos. The avocado dip on the kumara chips are decidedly average. The avocado masks the taste of kumara. Great place to come and chill. If you have kids, there is a dedicate space for them to chill too.

j.Nice enough place, but at $12.50 for a glass of beer, it now rates as the most expensive beer I have purchased in Auckland for a very long time.
T.Popped in for a hot chocolate yesterday while walking the dog to escape the weather - very kind staff member brought me a blanket to borrow and a water bowl for the dog. Thank you! And the hot chocolate was a winner :)
