Went there last Thursday first time, I really did enjoy their food, quick service, friendly staff and good prices. The food is really tasty and filling. Could do with improving the Gluten-free meals, otherwise well worth a try if you’re around the area.

Had dinner on a Friday night. Potions are big doing some justice for the price we pay. However, the taste is very average. Only few shrimps and wontons were in the first dish which is a wonton and shrimp soup. More prominent taste there was bok choy, which is not what its name suggest. However, I personally loved their interior design and spacious nature of the restaurant.

Good portions for the price. Establishment is spacious, clean and airy. Featured below: curry puffs, prawn spring rolls, roti with peanut sauce, chicken cashew nuts, yellow curry with chicken and pad Thai with tofu (minus the bean sprouts). Don't judge alright I'm not a fan of bean sprouts. Recently had the Tom Yum fried rice with tofu and I have to say I think this is a new favourite. The Tom Yum flavour is quite good and with a squeeze of lemon - ooh party on the palate.

Aroy is usually really good and ive ordered from them many times but just fair warning, if you want medium spicy go for mild because their medium is full on chilli red... i couldnt eat it and wasted my money.

The restaurant had takeaway and dine in choices from their menu. The place was clean and had a bright atmosphere. Although they didn’t have staff providing us water and was self service, the menu was provided for me to order at the counter before receiving food. The cups were interesting to drink from. Nice bright and very spacious venue. Fantastic for groups - we came with a group of 12 on a Friday evening without a booking, they accommodated us no problem. Order at the counter, service is super speedy - 4 of the dishes came out before the rest of us had even finished ordering. Pad Thai was tasty, would also recommend Duck Noodle Soup. Custard sticky rice dessert was oddly very salty, custard had an omelette-like consistency, would not get again.

One of the best "value for money" restaurants around the area in my opinion. Spacious interior and food is very good and not expensive. Around $16 and you have a nice meal but they didn't take phone order when I tried which is a bit annoying.

It's also great place to dine in for quick meal, it's really spacious and clean. This place is always busy especially during lunch time on weekdays. Luckily you can order online just to skip the queue, but either way, the service is very friendly and ridiculously fast! Highly recommended!

I've been to this place several times for a quick bite for lunch. I was never disappointed. You can pick pretty much any fish from the menu and you will be treated to very tasty meal. Aroy is also good for small groups or if you host business guests. It's staff is very friendly and there are rarely long waiting times. The location in the CBD makes accessible to quite a few offices. Check it out, you won't be disappointed! Very good value for your hard earned bucks.

My family came for lunch. 3 of us gave their lunch a 10 out of 10 and the other a 9 out of 10 but said didnt know how it could actually be made better. I had a medium green curry with pork. Excellent. The other top scores were roast duck in a peanut sauce and crispy pork and bok choice. The 9 was pad thai. Well priced also. Only downside it the minimalist decor is a bit noisy. Could do with some noise baffles but the food was do delicious we forgot about that. Btw this was the napier aroy.

My first time at Aroy Thai Eatery. Their food was nice and yummy. I ordered hot tom yam fried rice, which was spicy as request. My friend ordered fish with sweet chillie sauce. He said it was sour and sweet. The staffs were friendly and had a service mind. I would love to have dinner at this place again!

I walked in and ordered for takeaway on a Wednesday smack bam during the luncg rush but once I ordered, my food only took 5-10 minutes to get to me. This is the best Phad Thai I have had in New Zealand. The portions are great - enough for me to get two meals out of the Phad Thai and delicious curry puffs. Staff were very friendly - I highly recommended Aroy!

I loved the curry puffs and also their homemade pork skin crisps! Reminds me of the Philippine chicharon with less chance of heart attack. The portion size is quite big so don't order a lot if you just want to try out their food. The ambience is great it looked like fine dining but it is more casual. It's an open space which I love so even if all the tables were filled there are enough space for everybody. I find most of their meals were a bit sweet though but it's still yummy.

This place has fantastic food! I highly recommend it. But I've given it only 3 stars because of how long it takes to wait for takeaways. Twice now I've ordered before the peak lunchtime rush, when there are hardly any other customers and I still have to wait 20-25 minutes for the meal. A second till would also be very helpful as you can sometimes wait for 10+ minutes just to get to the counter.

Great food. Lots of options. Queues can be long, but there is an app which enables patrons to order ahead. Not sure why few people actually use the app though. When visiting, staff have always been polite and do their job well. We visit regularly.

I took my team for a team lunch. Had an hour but after 1 hour wait and meals not yet started we had to leave due to other meetings alteady scheduled. They offered to refund my money. Despite leaving card details as requested, no refund week and half later. A call a week later to them and received apology and assurance of payment. Another 2 weeks later and nothing. Not good enough Aroy Thai. My company is big and a major supporter of your establishment. Lift your game and be responsible. Shaun Happy to report ... money refunded. Apologies received. Took a while but intent to make good was genuine and appreciated.

Having been to Aroy many times in the past year I strongly recommend this restaurant for consistantly excellent and affordable Thai food. My personal favourite is the Tom Yum Goong with rice and extra chicken. I have a colleague that frequently visits from Christchurch, and he insists on Aroy! Keep up the great work!
