Chicken was awesome! Not too greasy unlike before where you can actually smell old cooking oil used. 5+1 promo is a good deal. New management made store fresher, cleaner and sanitary.

I ordered from Buy@HomeNZ through a special deal. A huge bucket with 20 pcs chicken ,cannot even finish all. Like Takoyaki,my favorite. Would highly recommend this fried chicken shop to my friends.

All-time Aromatic flavorful crunchy with soft tender chicken. A waiting of 5-10minutes during busy period to cook up a fresh batch of highly demand chxiken tights. Catering towards take away rather than dine in.

Great chicken and chups. They also have like 3 (!!!) different menus. Great selection all around, they'll fry your chicken any way you like it. What else. It's pretty quick and cheap. Some say it tastes after midnight, but that's only because you're usually wasted after midnight. Nice staff. Also the place is named after a great musician (rest in peace king...) totally recommend going if you're on queen street.

I walked here for a late night binge and was greeted with smiles from the duo-team. I appreciated the warm welcome and ordered the chicken. I was extremely grateful for the complimentary tender pieces that came with the box of chicken drums. Thank you so much, Avachi. The chicken was crispy, juicy and perfectly seasoned - this really is the best fried chicken that I have eaten in years. Crunchy with a lot of flavour on the outside and succulent meat on the inside.

Walked around town looking for something to eat. We stopped outside avachi and I said to my partner nah I don't want this, it's just another chicken place. But I was wrong! It's one of the best chicken places Iv been to in a long time. Decent sized meal, tastes good and the customer service was awesome. Thank you! All the way from Tauranga.

Best fried chicken take out in my opinion. Delicious recipe and always cooked well. Due to the high turn over you almost always get freshly fried chicken. Kebab dishes arent too bad but the star is the fried chicken. Service is great too.

Reasonable prices. They now have merged with an asian business so they offer mediteranian and asian(Taiwanese kind of) cuisines. I'm pretty sure the food and halal since they only make chicken aNd lamb. Staff are friendly. The Indian and Chinese staff get along nicely.

First thing is that i ordered a kebab and it was served within one minute with my chips too, note that this was during a busy time. Kebab was amazing, chips were cooked to perfection although make sure to tell them how much salt u want on them as mine were given a bit too much salt. 5/5 experience definitely reccomend.

Among halal fried chicken in Auckland,Avachi has always been one of the best.But,haven't been visiting since December last year,I was in awe trying their current fried chicken today.It has been upgraded!The buttermilk chicken was juicy and tender,covered in a crispy batter,with a perfect savoury from combination of spices.I found a perfect buttermilk fried chicken in Auckland!What a surprise!!Keep up the good job,Avachi!😍😍😍😍😍 Edited: Okay, now is November 2020, and I have changed my preference. The fried chicken was not anymore my infinite obsession. And it was because Avachi has introduced their new products that were just beyond delicious! I was wondering why so many people were waiting outside, and apparently they were waiting for the Chicken Steak! It took me one bite to shift my preference. I am hooked and I am loyal to their chicken steak!!!! It was similar to the Taiwan-style fried chicken! So crispy, tasty, and because I love the "mala" flavour, it was spicy!!!!Love it so so so so much! Thank you for having this new product, Avachi!!!

WOW!!!! Best fried chicken I've had in a very long time. Service has always been fast to as I have never seen the chicken tray empty. Friends of mine have also fell in love with its fried chicken and even making comments like "This is better than KFC". Overall a great food experience will definetly be back for more :)

Below average taste. Fried chicken is extremely salty from outside and tasteless from inside. It even feels uncooked from inside. Went there twice, same experience. The only good thing is quick service and controlled prices

I work on the same block so i am a frequent visitor, normally i get a kebab but sounds like i HAVE to try the fried chicken too! Very good prices (my usual lamb kebab combo is around $14), super quick, always delicious! They arent tight on sauces too like prepare yourself for burning nostrils from the horse raddish its SO YUM!
