Best experience here today. it's 1st time we went outside with our new born baby and what a treat it was. Food was immaculate and the service was even better. We’re extremely happy customers we will be back soon.❤️❤️❤️

It was a nice cosy restaurant with warm ambience...most of the menu item was good, some was average, however quite a small quantity as plate is mostly filled with garnished veges and mushrooms etc...you can see from the last photo of the left overs.... 😞but the staff were amazingly nice...would recommend their home grown organic juices though 👍👌

We were the second diners to arrive so it was nice and quiet then filled up quite fast, so make sure to book in advance! The servers are awesome, loved the traditional wear they had on and were able to help with menu items. The food was so delicious and enjoyed seeing the little elephant plates.

I asked for a nice table when I booked and they sat us next to the door. A shame as the inside looked lovely and cosy. If phoning, ask for a booth inside. Friendly people but I had to go to the counter to ask to order. My stir fry chicken was dry, which is unusual for a Thai stir fry, but the vegetables and oyster sauce was lovely. Pricing was reasonable. I wouldn’t go again.

This is a very high-level Thai restaurant in Auckland. They have spacious seats, with creative dishes and traditional Thai-style meals on the menu. The delicious food looks great and super delicious. The atmosphere is very friendly and comfortable.

Wanted to try this place for awhile, since it is one of the top Thai restaurant in Auckland. Had the sweet chilli fish and the blue elephant curry. The sweet chilli fish was quite nice, a bit of spiciness but not too much to handle. I wish the fish was meatier though. The blue elephant curry was more like a braised pork curry with ginger and peanuts. The pork was very tender and the sauce was a mix of savoury and sweet. Both the dish goes well with the jasmine rice which we get no limit in refills, that was nice. At the end of the night, it was valentines day, the staff gave us some red hearts chocolates which was a nice gesture. Overall, quite good, bit pricey but did not disappoint in the flavours.

If you love Thai food, this is where you should visit! Awesome dining experience in Auckland Central with nice people around. Great customer services and nice ambiance. The food is not very spicy, but if you like spicy, they will make it more spicy for u. Food portion are large and value for money.

At the blue elephant thai restraunt I had a wonderful experience. Paired with Tequila beforehand we went into the restraunt with an entertaining audience. I ordered the chef special blue elephant fried chicken with almonds not knowing what to expect. The chicken was beautifully tender but the almonds did not suit my palate. Overall was a decent experience and would go back for meal 2 maybe with vodka next time.

With much anticipation I was excited to try out Blue Elephant Thai Restaurant in Parnell and experience the Thai cuisine hype I’d heard about. Instantly, I was impressed by the attentiveness and hospitality of the staff in making me feel most welcome and accommodating me with a table on a night with mostly reserved tables. To start, I ordered their mixed entrees and was beguiled by the Thai Crab Cake. It stood out remarkably from the Chicken Satay, Spring Roll and Curry Puff and I fell in love with an exquisite glass of Rockford Barossa Shiraz. It was heaven exemplified! For mains, we tried the chef’s special of Blue Elephant Crispy Pork with Blue Elephant Chicken Spicy Fried Rice requested Thai Hot and these dishes were exceptional, perfectly spiced where usually I would request extra chili. My dining experience in this cosy tucked away eatery was truly memorable and I intend to return to experience other delights from their menu. Highly recommended with distinction!

Great place! I rate this place 5 Stars on all accounts- food, ambience & staff. We had ordered the deep fried sweet chilli whole snapper-it was amazing! And they provide these cute warm towels after dinner to wipe off all that tasty food off your fingers (although I had licked the sauce off mine!)

It's an amazing food place to visit in Parnell. A location in a walkway called Elephant Walk, cozy place for those foodies whom love Thai food from the kitchen of Thai King, the food are as good as you can get from a High Street 5-star restaurant. Menu are priced reasonably for 6 people, items are delightful and making you want to try and explore more taste menu food varieties. A very well organized place from maitre'de to waitress service, impressive is the word.

This was a wonderful dining experience. We had the shared entree plate to start. That had 5 different and delicious tastes. We followed that with the duck red Thai curry which was brilliant. It had lychees in the sauce which add to the flavour. We also had the the chef's Blue Elephant Friends which was delightful. The staff were excellent and contributed to a wonderful evening.

If you’re looking for a good authentic Thai restaurant with a fine dining style, this is the place for you. Bit on the high price but The taste make up for it. Unfortunately the restaurant is a tad small so be sure to make reservation in advance. The service is very good and friendly here but they take their time to prepare the food. So make sure you order an appetizer first if you’re super hungry. It’s located in the trendy Parnell St, so you can entertain yourself before or after dining there by walking along the neighborhood for cool tiny shoppes, art galleries, bars and cafe. Unbelievably good food! What a hidden gem! My server recommended the massaman curry and I’m so glad she did. My husband also hit a grand slam with the pineapple fried rice with pork. We were dressed casually, but I noticed the later arriving diners were pretty well dressed, and the Thai waitresses were pleasant but very formal. The food was excellent. When asked if my soup was okay, told them could've been spicier, they apologised and recooked the remaining bowl of soup and added more spice in it without a question.
