N.A tiny little restaurant, but the food is amazing, authentic Thai. Great things sometimes come in small packages and this is one of them especially good on the way home from work. Recommend, give it a try. I hope you love the food as much as I do
G.A small place but clean and lovely. The husband-and-wife tandem is really cool. The cook is Thai so the food is authentic and delicious. They serve unlimited water and you can ask for their homemade chilly flakes. Prices are also good for the servings.

W.Find this place on the internet ,don't be fooled but it's small size, the food was incredible! Group of 5 who were treated like royalty,such great service and kindness. The food was spot on portions great and we all left feeling that this was one of the best thai meals we have ever had.

The man running the front of the restaurant is incredibly kind and a joy to talk to. His wife is a phenomenal chef. We enjoyed it so much we made sure to make it our last meal in the country. N.A hole in the wall place in the center of Auckland, serving the most delicious thai cuisine.Its far better than all the big thai restaurants, reasonably priced. And the food is prepared by the old couple who are also the most gracious host. Must try highly recommend.

T.My flight after getting off the cruise ship was not until 11:55 pm so I researched what was nearby Prince's Wharf for dinner. This Thai restaurant had very good reviews but required me to walk 11 minutes each way instead of the CrabShack just a few steps away. I ordered chicken green curry, chicken pad thai, and chicken tom kha gai- coconut milk soup. They were all delicious and authentic! Ordered all chicken because my mom does not like shrimp but shirimp pad thai would have been really good. Since eating delicious pad thai in Thailand for less than $3, I would almost always be disappointed when I ordered Pad thai in the states for $12. But i would gladly pay that here at Bona's and would come here often if I had lived here. The gentleman behind the counter was very sweet too.
