Took my husband here for a treat. Parking is readily available in front of the restaurant. The female staff member who served us throughout the evening was very polite, cheerful and friendly. I appreciate her effort in checking out a question that I had asked. We both ordered the Beef Scotch, and it came out perfect (medium) just as we had asked for. Fresh salad and a generous portion of hot chips! We also had the salt & pepper squid. So delicious! Thank you for the great food and great service!

Caring and organised, happy to listen and great service. I had to organise an 80th birthday from Australia with the team and everyone I deal with was interested in doing a great job and helping me. THey were very patient with changes me made and on the day everything ran very smoothly and the birthday girl had a brilliant day. It was good that we could bring our own cake in and the accomodated that. Thank you again Abhi and team.

Highly recommend the lamb!! It is absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, the flavours were devine. So many different components to the dish, and it all went so well together! The garlic yogurt, feta, couscous, zucchini, pumpkin, mushrooms, capsicum, Anguilla, carrot topping. I was pleasantly surprised. Hubby had the steak and it was perfectly cooked to a medium-rare, just the way he likes it.

Great food, decent portion and a very reasonable price. Always loved their fried chicken, but tonight we ordered duck and miso salmon - they were so satisfying!!!! You get half of a duck and it was perfectly juicy with a sweet mandarin source. Thanks Bricklane!

Would have given five stars, but the waitress shouting out orders at the tables was not a good look. She should have taken more note of who ordered what. The large group next to us experienced the shouting out also. I felt I was at McDonald's.

Visited on a Tuesday evening. Service was very slow between being seated and receiving drinks, while tables around us were cleaned (it wasn't overly busy so the tables weren't needed imminently). Fortunately the food was worth the wait. The crispy duck and the BBQ ribs were top notch.

The manager on at the time was rude & the restaurant was very late to setting up the room, because the group that hired it out prior was in there longer than the time arranged. Which means everything had to be delayed for a wedding reception set up. Put alot of pressure on us, and everyone else rushed for time. The pics do not justify how beautiful it looked in reality, forgot to snap a professional pic! If you want to put up a backdrop in the building, make sure it is shorter than 3m. Awesome service from start to finish. Waitress was courteous. Did not get any orders wrong. When it started to get busy, manager joined in to help the staff and brought the food and drinks out. We did not wait for anything. Meals were very generous and very well cooked, seasoned and presented. Waitresses helping each other out and one not assigned to us stopped just to check on us. Price at the end was definitely better than expected. My favorite local restaurant 👌

Lovely restaurant, lovely staff but it wasn't till meals arrived that we realised we had to order our sides separately (potatoes, vegetables etc) so there wasn't much on some of our plates, might be an idea for the wait person to point that out if the customer doesn't order any.

Just had the most awesome experience at Bricklane. We had a table of 17 people booked to celebrate our Mums 80th Birthday. The food was perfect as was the service, nothing was too much trouble for the team. Thank you so much Bricklane for making our mums day so special.

Depending on the capacity, usually when it's not busy the food comes out nice and fresh. When it's too busy the food comes out rushed and sometimes warm/cold. Food choices are good but they need to change up the menu at some point.

My family dined in last night (with no reservation) and we were advised that there was a table available for us immediately but that there were 3 groups (of 50, 19 & 14) so there will be a wait if at least 45 minutes. We decided that we would wait. We were served within 10 minutes and the arrival of our food far exceeded our expectations arriving within 20 minutes of placing our order. In addition, we received such great service from 3 of the staff and the food was delicious. Definitely recommend.

This is always good value. The food is very tasty and service great. We booked more comfortable seats to suit my semi disabled brother in law. On first booking in person we were told none were available, but on returning we were able to locate a suitable table for our group. The waitress brought out our cake to celebrate a birthday . We had our event today there and it was a super good experience. The food was so delicious, the service was superb, the function room was fantastic and we really had fun. We went there for St. Valentine's Day and met up with a friend for a late lunch (2pm). Even though it was a very hot day outside, the establishment was cool even with the doors to the outside fore court was open. I may be because of the stylist stone interior kept the place cool. We went served right away and were asked for drinks which was a must. We were given menus and were rapped that they had a extendsive $15 lunch menu as well as a normal priced menu. We spent a couple of hours there, had a great meal of fish n chips and Bricklane burger.It's is a good place to take a family for a get together and totally recommend taking a look if in the area.

The food was great. We have been going there for years. And in the last year or so, it has gone downhill. If you book a table for 7.30pm, you'd be lucky to get your entree before 8.30pm. Which means you will get your mains at around 9.30pm if lucky. And that is exactly what happened. I would have given 1 star but the food is good, they need to up their customer skills and please add an extra chef/waiter etc. The waiters were also looked like they did not know what they were doing. We had to remind them 3x times before we got our drinks.And god knows how many times for the entree we ordered. Seriously! Really guys! Do something! before you loose all the customers.

Good value for money restaurnt. Ate out with 5 adults 1 teen and a child. We have been here many times and the food and service is consistent. We booked on very short notice due to the restaurant we were going to being full. They were able to accommodate us easily for which we were very grateful. Nothing fancy here. This is a comfort food type of place, friendly service and accessible location. They didn't serve a couple of the alcohol beverages we ask for but that was no biggie. Tonight we had a longer wait than usual and as it was not that busy, I assume they were short in the kitchen, they didn't mention any issues to us. I was really pleased that they had a vegan option on the menu which us better than none. It is of course possible to modify the vegetarian menu as well. I would recommend this as a good family restaurant that feels familiar.

If the owner or manager ever sees these reviews, please please please add an extra cook for dinner service and you will totally rock diners worlds. Keep up the great work :)

We have been here a few times as its quite handy and plenty parking But on every occasion we have a mishap or poor service ,some days it can go smoothly Menu has a variety of meals to choose from but sure needs a change from time to time We had the chicken burger , Cesar salad and a beef wrap along with the hot drinks Meal portions are quite huge and very filly The burger was tasty along with fries on the side The salad was ok but my friend slowly pushed it away unknown reason The beef wrap was quite tasty n moist Hot drinks were not up to scratch that was a disappointment Service on the day was ok ,better to get in early or you are sitting and waiting in rush hour Meal prices are good , $15.00

Food is great. Person who served us was adamant not to alter the dish because one of us was lactose intolerant. We insisted to speak to the chef, and the chef was accommodating. You have to adjust dietary requirements of your patrons. Otherwise food was pretty good.

The Servers were lovely however the food wasn't too bad. I wasn't keen on the entrèe, we ordered the prawns they were over cooked and whatever they were wrapped didn't go down well. For main I had the Sirloin Steak Medium Rare with chips and salad. Steak was rubbery and I was offered another but politely declined.

Ordered chef special and market fish, steak cooked to perfection at specification and fish fresh and beautifully crisp. Only cons, table choice we had no booking but the restaurant was at that time quarter capacity we were given worst table seating area near door in open area. The 3.9 stars put me off, along with the outside being scruffy.. But I eat my hat. We went there for a meal in December and everything was great. I loved the pork belly and also snuck tastes of the Jalapeno poppers and the cauliflower entrees off my parents plates - both delicious. Definitely would return.

Planned a special secret dinner for my husbands retirement with all the children flying in to be there. We had to choose somewhere low key as he might have guessed if we chose any of our favorite ones. What a night, they were under staffed and the service was a little slow but WOW!!! the food was fantastic. They had put us at a quite table off to one end so we were private and could talk with little noise, the atmosphere was good and the staff were friendly. Because of the delay they gave us a round of drinks which they didn't need to do as we were having a great time. We all chose something different so we had a good idea about most of the menu and everyone was delighted with their food. When the bill came we could not believe the value. Couple minutes each side, not 45Min. Surf and turf is worth the wait just not that long, specially with hard uncomfortable chairs to sit in.

Bricklane Restaurant & Bar has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I've been there for lunch and dinner on different occasions within this month and I found the place very inviting with a slight touch of country and family orientated. There's a friendly staff member on hand all the time with a lovely smile and keen to help. The menu has more choices to choose from, the food was tasty and the costs was reasonably affordable. Thank you to the staff who served our table and compliments to the Chef.

Bricklane has been a family favorite for almost 10yrs now. Always our first choice. The food is great and the staff are very friendly. Miss 9 always looks forward to her colouring in pack. If you're after great food, friendly atmosphere and money well spent. Then i would highly recommend Bricklane!

Went here for dinner tonight and was amazed at the value for money. I'm a pretty big eater and was stoked with the portion sizes. The food was also an excellent quality and the service from staff was good. I'm surprised at some of the other reviews because what we got was top class. 10/10 will eat there again!

We ordered calamari and southern fried chicken and 2 glasses of pinot gris. Take this review seriously i travelled all the way from riverhead to try this place and absolutely no regrets.

My new favourite restaurant. The fried camembert is to die for, the pulled pork tacos and the pork roast equally brilliant. Service sometimes a wee bit slow but they do get very busy. There is a bar and gaming room here too, as well as a tv screening sports if you're that way inclined. Love the touches of local history with the Crown Lynn pottery on display. Would recommend this place to anyone.

I enjoy the cosy atmosphere, and if you like steak and seafood I'd reccomend the fillet with scallops. For dessert the brownie never disappoints:) I like that they frequently have specials and also special deals for pensioners.

Just had a painful experience at Black Salt with inexperienced holiday staff and 19 year old rude inconsiderate female clients who thiink it is their right to inconvenience other clients.
