R.Beautiful gem in Auckland! Easy ride from the ferry from CBD (adds to the experience) and fabulous food! Authentic Italian with generous servings.
We were in a bit of a hurry and after explaining our situation we got served very quickly!
J.Disappointingly average. This place used to be excellent. A local favorite. Had many functions here in the early days and it was always excellent. Been twice in last couple of years and both times it has been very average. Menu is very much the same, good selection, reasonable pricing and serving size, but execution is substandard. Chef may have changed. From dirty glasses to what appeared and tasted like re-heated food, tasteless cream sauces (a mainstay of a good chef), it's sadly a far cry from its post-Botticelli glory days. Which is a shame, as it used to be consistently excellent.
M.We came here for dinner last night as a group of 6. None of us had dined here before but the restaurant was packed! Not a table spare. We knew it had to be good! They had sold out of entree pizza breads and the waiter told us this as we sat down. He told us they could do ciabatta bread for us with the dips instead, which we did and it was delicious. 5 of our group ordered pasta and I got the Quattro formaggi pizza. My pizza was delicious! You could taste every one of the cheeses on it, and then the chilli flakes gave it a fantastic kick! My husband got the gnocchi ragu and I had food envy. It was delicious! We all said we would be back! Delicious food, great service! Very impressed!!

Small, unfussy and a real Italian Authentic feel.
Staff are wonderful friendly and competent.
The food was great and reasonably priced and proportions just like your Italian Grandma would serve you.
S.Favourite local. Their tiramisu is a must try. Excellent gluten free pizza. My personal favourite is their gnocchi. Friendly staff.

C.The beef ragu gnocchi was delicious and a very good portion size (takeaway). We shared this main with a parmesan pizza bread. Really friendly and helpful staff.
a.Came here for a birthday dinner. Food was delicious, very generous portions and reasonably priced. BYO, great service, lovely, helpful staff. Highly recommend the seafood risotto - lots of seafood, cooked to perfection with the most delicious rice. Only regret was that I was too full to finish it. Will definitely go back, thanks!!
