It is a very nice and amazing place . The staff are friendly. We tried old smokey burger it was tasty and juicy I really enjoyed it , and chicken burger was tasty and cooked perfectly rich with flavors . The curly fries yummy and crispy served with the aioli . Highly recommend this place . It is the best place to visit with your partner or family.

overall enjoyed my experience here. the staff are really friendly and welcoming. burgers were good - even the buns which i usually don’t like to eat. only complaint is that the chicken in the mcfly burger was a bit dry and flavourless, and i didn’t know the BB fried chicken had lemon juice/seasoning which is a flavour i personally don’t like :( would get again !

Was expecting good things after how good New Market was, but the burger was salty and the meat was chewy like luncheon sausage or something, and that was at medium rare. Curly fries had no salt or season whatsoever and the fried chicken was literally flavourless. I could have made better with salt, pepper & flour. Cool venue and good service nonetheless

Kids meals (beef burgers) were good as per usual but the beer battered fish burger I ordered was below average. Cold semi soggy bun and frozen fish which they said was fresh. It wasn’t. Absolute legends! After Uber eats completely stuffing us about then cancelling my order after nearly an hour wait the team at Burger Burger called me and remade my order! Stopped by for lunch and just grabbed a chocolate shake. We had a few people so needed a big table. We didn't book and the indoor area was full. They did have an outdoor area which seemed like it was shared among the other restaurants there. The annoying part about it is that it is unshaded so it can get quite hot. We got a table on the outside and they came and took our order at the table. The shake was alright and nothing too exciting. I had mistakenly thought they were able to make it from any of the ice creams that they had but they couldn't. It was a nice place but my friend really hated her vegan burger. The others seemed fine with their orders.

Unfortunately a sad attempt at vegan burgers. Also a bit weird that the 'impossible' patty is offered as an alternative for meat eaters but doesn't feature on the vegan menu, even in the vegan beef burger (but yes you can request to swap it out). The buns are horrible. It's really easy to find vegan bread (most bread is vegan) and trying to nail two birds with one stone using GF buns is a bit lazy. Chips were nice though, as always 👍

Always a good experience when i come to any burger burger. Good range of burgers with some really nice specials at times. Slow cooked lamb, slow cooked pork... both so good. Curly fries are fantastic, but the truffle potato skins i found to oily and the basket was not very full. PS the shakes are amazing as well, a little pricey but 5 star.

Love, love, love this place! My friend and I came here for lunch on a Sunday and we had a great experience. We were greeted so nicely on arrival, our orders taken promptly and there was hardly wait at all for our burgers and fries! Best burger hands down that i have had in a loonngg time! I had a cheeseburger and the meat was so delicious, well cooked and hd that real meaty beef flavour. Chips were also perfectly seasoned and crispy. Cant wait to eat here again when i have the chance!

Located in Takapuna, Burger Burger is located between a few other bars. With a stylish interior lined with neon tubes, the walls are decorated with Kiwiana illustrations here and there. Enough tables to accompany many parties, the staff are also fast on their feet. The food is very nice, I personally enjoyed their staple burger as they had a variety of ingredients that you would not expect. Would recommend if you are in the area looking for a bite with nice beer and great service.

I had a business dinner here withs friend. Scrumptious lamb burger and raspberry thick shake. Very tasty. Quick and efficient service. They seated us outside initially and moved us insideas soon as a table became available. Much warmer inside!

Burger Burger is probably the most famous place to go for...burgers. It’s definitely worth a visit. I wouldn’t call their burgers the beat I’ve ever had, but they are definitely good, as well as fries and beer. What more would you want? Worth a visit.

Really tasty burgers. We had the 'ole smokey' and fish burgers, swapping the buns out for cos lettuce. Was a lot of lettuce! but filled the gap. Grilled broccoli was very good as was the ceviche. Had the kombucha gin drink, didn't taste as if there were much gin in it.. Would go again for the food.

Amazing, absolutely amazing place. The place is a wonderful atmosphere, lots of warm colours and makes you feel cozy. The staff are very friendly, and their service is swift and efficient. In a time like this where we try our best to avoid contact with unknown people, Burger burger allows you to order online with a qr code. Their food is very nice, very warm, cheese is melty, lots of complexion to the burgers. Although I will say their sides are not cheap, 8 bucks for a small amount of fries, however the star of the show is their burgers, amazing quality, veur juice, and I mean it, it is very juicy their burgers, it drops down your hands and its never dry. And their sauce is amazing paired with their burgers.

Update - still delicious and with lots of vegetarian and vegan options 👍 staff seem a bit disorganised but otherwise all good 😊 Yum! Had the special - spicy chicken burger and candy floss shake plus potato skins and onion rings (I shared the sides!) Friendly staff that know the menu and seem to enjoy working here :) Menu isn't long but a good range and good quality ingredients! It's not cheap and certainly not in the takeaways price range but the portion sizes are good and it's filling food! Only negative was some songs were too loud and bass-y to talk over but that was only a few NB: the lettuce is free to add and there's GF buns so the previous review may be for another branch?

We had a great dinner last night at Takapuna for my sisters birthday and eventhough they dont usually do anything for birthdays they came out with desert and candles after our meal. I really appreciate the effort they took into making the dinner special. The waitress was very friendly and attentative and the food ofcause was amazing. We'll definately be back. My partner and I ate here on a whim having never tried it before , The decor was fantastic and the staff friendly , We ordered the Pulled pork burger , Kumara fries and Ceviche with an old fashioned lemonade and Mint and cucumber drinks , The food its self was very nice and i have never seen so much pork in a single burger , The Ceviche was fresh and the drinks refreshing , We only found the price was a bit high at $46 for 3 food items and 2 drink but all the same great range of food to choose from.

Such a cool little location for this one. Really good food. Good atmosphere because of the setting and the staff are awesome, friendly and helpful. Been a few times now and looking forward to the next visit with mates again. Lots to choose from, both in food and in drink. I recommend the jugs of cider 🙊

Visited on Queen's Birthday, only a 10% surcharge. There's always available seating, quick table service and it was a moderate wait for food. I ordered the Vege burger ($16) and hot wings (14?), partner ordered a lil beef&cheese burger combo ($20) hot daaaaamn... It was delicious! If you're going for the house made soda, do request it without or with little ice or ask if they can make it stronger. Gluten free/low gluten available, the hot wings were made gf. Courtyard seating can be shared with other restaurants around on eat street. Paid parking is convenient behind venue. Total spend that day was around $55, usually my average spend w/out alcohol is $25-35 at Burger Burger. Sadly Fish Fish is no longer part of the venue.

It used to be great until they bought out their QR code ordering system. While there was waitresses just chatting amongst themselves near the bar. What's the point? Waitresses still delivered our food and interacted with us for check out etc so it's not to limit contact. I only give it three stars because the food is still great here.

A new concept for us to scan and orfervonbour phones and not have a human staff member take our order. It felt rather impersonal. The warmth of the staff who bought our orders to the table and cleared away our enamel plates certainly made up for that. The curly fries were devine. Our burgers were so delicious. The drinks that accompanied then we're on point. The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and I loved the natural breeze flow through with the open wall of sliding windows.

Good Burke joint with potential with service and home made sodas. We had the old fashioned lemonade and honey coke, both very watery and almost no flavor. Service was attentive at the beginning but there was one girl, who needs some more training. As we both work in hospitality, plates shouldn’t be taken away when one person is still eating and while cleaning one plate after another, she should have asked if we were done with the fries plate (had still fries on it). While paying, the same waitress didn’t even asked us how are meal was, so no feedback could be given.

The ambiance of this place is just perfect. The service is great. And well, the food - brilliant!! I had the Vege burger... And honestly, I have never had such a filling and yummy burger ever! The crispy patty and the melting inside is just yum. And do try the charcoal broccoli. It was suggested by the manager - and it was spot on fab with the right garlic, oil and almonds! I highly recommend this place - not expensive and amazing food!!!

Not sure if there has been a change of ownership, but the food is just not as good as it used to be. My burger wasn’t medium. It’s was well done. The bacon on it was a thick chunk of fat. Very unusual. The polenta fries are a no go. They are heavy and very dry in the centre. I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and the food isn’t as good as it used to be. The burger prices have also gone up and a burger and side is almost $30. For that I want a special burger and it was average at best this time. Hopefully next time it will be better.

Great place to catch up with friends. Absolutely loved the seating outside in the common area. Burgers were perfect. I love the curly fries with its seasoning and dip. A minor suggestion would be to place the curly fries dip to the side and not on top of the fries and also your potato skins are a bit thick. More of the potato itself needs to be scooped out. It felt like eating wedges rather than potato skins.

Service was a little average both times I have been there, we had to try and catch the eye of a staff member to be served, however, friendly service. Burgers are not super exciting in size and taste, pretty standard. Portion size for curly fries was rather small which was sad considering how tasty they were and they came with a nice aioli. Tasty Black Forrest martini but our mojito jug tasted a little soapy.

The brocolli side tastes excellent - verging on the side of bit raw I still think however. Amazing burgers and great atmosphere! We tried both beef and veggie burgers with a side of regular fries and curly fries...YES curly fries! The only downfall is that there is NO Burger Burger Wellington! We are looking forward to our next trip to Auckland!

Finally found a great burger spot! Really tasty! Curly fries were nice too. We mistakenly ordered shoestring fries when we intended on getting curly. Favourite place to eat out in Takapuna. They serve good food and do it pretty quick too. Not nesacerially the best but we've been back a few times because we've enjoyed eating here and they have a good selection on the menu. All the different chips they do are really tasty too. Recommend going here if you're looking for something fast that is better than 'fast food'.

Seriously one of the best burgers I’ve had in New Zealand. I came here with my partner and we were in a big rush as we had to get to a show. They said that our orders would take 15 minutes but they got it done in 10. Would highly recommend checking this place out.

Burger burger is a neat little place that is off the beaten track from the main drag strip in Takapuna. Inside it has a clean, slightly industrial look to it. Feels very inviting and not pretentious. I had the chicken burger and fries. A staple that was delivered quickly and very tasty. The chicken was char grilled and yet still tender. Food arrived quickly and was hot. Pricing is per item, meaning that my meal was about $20. A little high but I guess is the price you pay for the ambience etc. In all, I recommend, but do caveat that it could get pricey quickly if ordering in a group setting.

Top 5 burger joints in Auckland. The staff are friendly and great with kids. The fried broccoli is probably the best broccoli I've ever eaten. But, allow 30-40 mins from ordering to eating depending on the time of day. So definitely doesn't fall into the "fast" food category. If your in a hurry, probably not for you. Also, the prices are pretty high for what amounts to burger and fries. Still, we keep going back.

Delicious Delicious! Everything was on point. Service: prompt, polite, and personable. Setting: clean and casual. Food: f’ing fantastic! I ordered the Kiwi Classic, with a side order of Brussel Sprouts (special), and a Beer Beer to accompany. My burger came out cooked just how I like it. The taste and textures made everything explode in my mouth. The sweet beetroot complimented the creamy egg and savory sauce. The sprouts were just the right level of firm. The house lager went down nice and smooth. I highly recommend visiting the Takapuna location if you are craving a burger! They make you feel welcome whether it’s one or eight of you.

I ate at the Takapuna branch a few times... Fries were good, and hamburger was good, however I would say the size of hamburger is too small - kids size, I am a woman size 10 and I was still hungry after eating. I ordered with no bacon and no cheese, I am not eating these 2 and unfortunately there was no basic hamburger (patty, lettuce, tomato, pickles) on the menu...ordering another one would be too pricy as it's about 13 each. I don't like double as 2 patties are making the bread soggy and always falling off. I would rather have 1 patty which is bigger in size with a bigger bun. Staff was friendly but I hate Aioly and asked mayo instead but they forgot... Tasty but too pricy

Went here to visit Fish Fish. Paid $14 for a piece of fish, the cheapest option was $12. Feeling a bit ripped off, it was nice but not $14 worth at all. Local fish and chip shop would have done it for far less and saved us the drive. They were also out of Ceviche when we asked for it which was disappointing. Good selection for drinks, but we're in no hurry to go back.
