Reviews of Burgermaster
m.Posting for a few reasons. The fish n chips here are some of the best ive had in the city so far and i go out of my way for it. Cripsy crunch and always fresh. And portions are always generous. I like my chips well done too and its also somewhere that understands that when most ignore the request and just give soggy chips.
The customer service is above and beyond. We are always greeted warmly with smiles and friendliness. This alone is a reason to revisit, i dont understand why other shops don’t understand the value of quality customer service.
And lastly, there arent any photos of the fish n chips in the pictures above so...here are a few.
A.Steak burger was good. Chicken burger was average. Chips were fine but weren't crispy enough.

Perfectly cooked fish everytime, and you have to get the Kumara fries, thick and chunky, full of flavour.
The food is absolutely outstanding, with service to match.
L.Lovely snapper but chips a real disappointment. Overcooked and dry. Instead of golden and crisp.

M.Been twice in one week. We live in Birkdale and we are so impressed with the food coming out of this takeaway, just feel the love in the food from the couple that own this business. Today we ordered a toasted sandwich, damn that was one mean toastie, never seen another takeaway put so much care into a toastie. Well done Burgermaster a well deserved 5 star rating from me!

T.This must be the cleanest and freshest burger and fish and chip joint in NZ. Food was amazingly fresh, the crumbes fish was cruncy to perfection and the folks running it were super friendly and polite. My favorite and gladly will go there every time.

D.I am the pickiest person around when it comes to fish and chips shops. This place sets the bar, better than fishmonger, fish pot cafe etc. Friendly staff and each ordered item comes seperately packaged. Keep up the good work - oh big pieces of fish also.
