J. D.Really nice takeaway shop. Prices are cheap and the quality is nice as well compared to others. Their chicken nibbles and fish is my favorite. Chips crispy as well. Speaking of the woman's attitude at the counter, as few others have pointed it out to be rude, I felt the same during my first visit but been here multiple times now and I think the woman comes across as rude due to her tone being loud which is normal among us Asians but don't think that's her intention. She's never been verbally rude to me though so thats my opinion. All in all great little takeaway!

L.Haven’t been to the Busy Horse for years even though I shop next door weekly at the supermarket. Grabbed combined fried rice & sweet n sour chicken for dinner for me & hubby - delicious!!! Very generous in not only the size of both dishes, but the (sweet n sour) chicken pieces were big chunks, well cooked & flavoursome! The combined fried rice had a lovely flavour with generous portions of beef and chicken pieces. Plenty left over & will not wait years to go back:)

The pineapple fritters are spicy and sweet (yum!) and the fried oysters are ALWAYS plump, juicy and the batter is crispy and golden . I give you a 10/10 Busy Horse, for the best fish and chips in New Zealand!
