S.This was our first time to Constantinople restaurant and we will definitely be back. Amazing food, service and atmosphere. The food was so good we ordered too much and couldn't fit in the baklava so got it to takeaway instead. I highly recommend going here to support them and enjoy some fantastic authentic Turkish food. YUMMY!!!!
R.Such a cool little place. Feels very authentic and you can see your food being prepared. There's a covered deck area which can hold large groups or yiu can sit inside if you want somewhere quieter.
Food was superb and I give the yoghurt cheesecake the big thumbs up!

S.Beautiful lunch. Eating the wonderful food here took me back to my visit to Turkey years ago!! Every dish was perfect, even the Tabouleh was made correctly with the small couscous/buckwheat & the Turkish Apple Tea just as I remember.

R.FIVE ENTHUSIASTIC STARS! Start to finish, this place gets it right. Flawlessly prepared, homemade, authentic Turkish cuisine has never tasted this delicious. Just as the name suggests, it’s like taking a trip across the globe straight to the heart of Constantinople — gorgeous, artfully crafted food complete with the freshest flavors and ingredients. They spare no detail to make the atmosphere as authentic as possible, too — even the plates, glassware, and flatware seemed to come straight from Turkey. Family run with a pleasant vibe and stylish atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the owner himself, who also serves you personally throughout your meal. His table service was attentive without being overbearing. You can tell he is genuinely invested in the satisfaction of his patrons. I really enjoyed the open layout of the kitchen — it lends a grassroots honesty to the whole place when you can see straight in and even say hello to the lovely people preparing the homemade food (no doubt from recipes passed down through generations). Beautiful wines and loose-leaf teas on offer to accompany the traditional Turkish menu. Try the Four Cheeses pizza — it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Overall, Constantinople is a total win. I will definitely be back! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
l.Wow, what a lovely restaurant, great atmosphere and friendly prompt service. If you are a foody, you will love this place. Tasty flavours, lovely textures, generous portions, nice selection of wine and over all a exquisite dining experience. The homemade Turkish delights a must try. We Highly recommend this restaurant and will be back.

Would of received 5 stars if we could of had the Loukoumades for dessert, but the original baklava with pistachio was divine.

V.Went here for lunch with my family. This was our first time eating Turkish food so we weren't sure what to expect but everything was so amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful and the staff so friendly. The food, was presented so well and the flavors were delicious. Nothing too overpowering, and everything was fresh. We got some desserts to take home to enjoy a little later and they were also fantastic. We were all pleased with the entire experience and will be looking forward to eating here again.

We orderd the food in adance, so by the time we arrived, we've got served right away. The food was delicious and service was fast. I ordered creamy prawn pasta and it was a good choice.

S.This is seriously my favourite restaurant ever, I make a point of going there at least once a month with my partner. The food is out of this world, really authentic and delicious. The service is always super warm and friendly, it feels like home every single time. I cannot stress enough how much you need to dine here. The biggest hidden gem of Auckland.

M.WOW!!! This is a hidden gem on a residential street in a small block of shops and what a find!! You won't be disappointed! This cafe/restaurant came highly recommended by a friend so we made the trip from East Auckland to Albany and it was soooooo worth it. The service was superb, the food was delicious and a nice atmosphere also. The Octopus taste just took me right back to Mykonos, the calamari was tender and divine, great hummus, salads, skewers, pasta and beef cheeks on a pumpkin puree that was melt in your mouth. We will visit again and again.

C.Every Saturday morning after Music class, my 4yo and I come and have chocolate baklava and apple tea. It's our tradition. There is so much warmth and kindness from the owners and we appreciate it every week. The food is incredible and reminds me of being in Turkey.

Parking a little confusing & surprised to see no "special" coffees on the menu, but other than those very minor things, was a very enjoyable experience & would definitely go again!

L.a really good local place, you can tell with every bite that the food was made with love and care. sure it takes a little longer than other places for the food to come out but the wait is worth it. their baklava is also to die for, i always grab like 5-6 every time i go there. will be going back for that spaghetti bolognese soon!

T.Absolute treat. We have both travelled to Turkey and Greece; and the quality plus presentation took us right back to wonderful times. Really tasty and filling. Don't tell the owner he could easily charge much more for his food. We have certainly eaten at other local places which serve only standard food or plain pub grub but prices through the roof. Put it on your must go list.

We have been there for both lunch and dinner, quick coffees , cool afternoon drinks with nibbles and every time its a winner. The food is always really good, the place has a relaxed, low key vibe which is really nice and the service is always good. I highly recommend it!

B.Went with friends for the first time on Saturday and had a most enjoyable night. Run by a lovely family who obviously take pride in what they do, the service was warm and efficient and the meals really good, especially the slow cook Turkish menu where the terrific Beef cheek left the Ankaya Lamb for dead IMO. The ony reason it doesnt get five stars is the small and prosaic wine list - although the prices are very reasonable it screams out for a Montelpuciano, a Tempranillo and a Rose from Provence for those whose taste goes beyond the Ned. Or better still, allow BYO. Otherwise, looking forward to the next visit.

A.We have visited Constantinople five times already. And we hope to be able to go back MANY more times in the future, because we LOVE the place.
The setting is casual and relaxed, the atmosphere is good, and the staff are wonderfully friendly.
Drinks are good, with a small but very well balanced beer and wine selection.
And the food is simply DIVINE! We are slowly working our way through the menu and have loved (almost) every single dish.
From the entrees, the ceviche (no longer on the menu) was disappointing, but the sigara borek, humus, and calamari were all great - and the taramasalata superb!
All the deserts are good too - great Turkish coffee, Turkish delight, and excellent baklava.
However, the slow-cooked meat mains are for us the BEST. The Orpheus chicken, beef cheek, lamb shank were all wonderful, but the Antakya lamb is our absolute favourite.
This is a must-visit place that we hope will be around for a long time to come!

The restaurant has a nice relaxed atmosphere and the owners are very friendly. The restaurant has only been open a month so I wanted to support them and spread the word. Cheers

N.The food in this place is super good. The menu is different enough and it has a real authentic South East Europe / Turkish taste. The meat has a fantastic dash of char to it. Youll feel damn great after eating here. Portions are a little on the small side, but grab some dessert and you'll be golden.
