Oh my gosh
First off, compliments to the Cheff, staff aswell as the Owner for honestly the most Devine Meal/Service that I have ever experienced...
Food was absolutely incredible, completely smashed everything. The restaurant was spotless and kept professional

On the Menu, ohhhh the menu, You have a variety of their "specialty selection" which is the finest food I've ever had.
Staff were dressed up smartly, the owner did service with the customers, Staff consistantly checked up on us and made absolutely sure that we were taken care of.
An amazing hidden gem.
Absolutely would recommend.

The highlight of Copia is the beautiful setting. Sitting on the deck looking out over the tidal basin to Parnell and the skyscrapers of the city is a unique experience in Auckland. No traffic noise to disturb the scene, just the occasional train gliding past. Go at high tide for the best view.
The food is expensive and experimental but I would say it does not quite live up to expectations given the price. I guess you are paying for the view. However, they do use a lot of interesting and local produce, including honey from the restaurant hive, which is right at the edge of the deck!

Always a great experience. My favourite is the steak with bone marrow crumble, it's a must try if you love steak. The plates are best shared and no matter what you order each dish will be an experience in itself. Being asian I care less about the decor when the food is this good, but the decor is inviting and relaxed.

After much anticipation, I got to lunch at Copia and try some of the seafood dishes. The restaurant is beautifully lit with natural light streaming in from the picturesque seascape with the silhouette of Sky Tower in the distance. Service was very pleasant and engaging as I was fortunate to get a late table from lunch service.
I was most enthused to try the paua and squid croquettes with nasturtium lime dressing and this dish was wonderful and subtle in flavour but teaming with texture. I also tried the soda bread with seaweed butter which really needed to be heated or toasted slightly to complement textures.
In addition, I tried the BBQ’ed cabbage with Horopito minced pork with black garlic purée. This was a stand out dish, with much depth in umami flavour. I also trust the season potatoes which were a miss misguided recommendation and lacking a sauce I’d some sort.
The highlight dish was the baby octopus with put lentil ragout and olives. This dish reminded me of a Bellota Iberian octopus dish so rich in flavour profile and exquisite! Coupled with with wonderful Pinot Noirs, I was in heaven.
To finish off, I had to try the Chocolate Delice with rhubarb ice cream and cherry gel with whites chocolate and buckwheat crumb. This was a wonderful closure to my lunch albeit over indulgent in my side. The service was wonderful and I eagerly anticipate a follow up visit for dinner. My lunching experience with exceptional and it’s a excellent use of utilizing the Orakei basin as a feature backdrop. Highly recommended!

Underrated restaurant that I think needs to work on marketing. It feels like it should be a neighbour bistro however most food designed to be shared. Aside from that the food itself is solid (had the scotch with smoked bone marrow crumb) and the wine list is one of best I have seen with many of my personal favourites.

We visited here with friends for the first time tonight. The view of the sea and Auckland City was stunning, the food was delicious, with a variety for all tastes, unique and all prepared onsite. Parking easily accessible outside. Warm inviting atmosphere. Easy to hear even though restaurant full and tables had lots of room in between. Will certainly be back. Thanks for an amazing dining experience. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Nice views of the city over the water. Interesting menu & great selection of wines. The "large plates to share" would be better called "mains", they're not easy to share (no extra cutlery provided to serve either). No wine tasting offered prior to pouring, that was unusual. Overall a nice evening experience, would love to try the surprise menu next time.

Amazing food, view and service.
Definitely above standards, for a still very reasonnable price.
Picture of a starter, it was as good as it looks :)

Well done Chef - fresh, interesting, honest and delicious - was picking herb salad straight from his garden. Dining room staff were helpful and attentive. Beautiful setting, great for hiring. A wedding was just finishing off when we arrived at 5.30pm and one of the Dad's gifted us half a bottle of red, wonderfully kind - rounded off a fab experience. Would go again.

This little gem is a great find. Tucked well away from the main road, it’s location down by the water and looking back towards the city is a real surprise. Nice indoor/outdoor flow too, which will suit a balmy summer evening. With quality service, great fitout and a very tasty menu, we’ll definitely be back soon! Well done team.

This restaurant specialises in serving amazing flavour combinations with many of the subtle hints and flavours grown right in their own garden beds. The restaurant also has a stunning back drop out on to the water with a view of the Auckland skyline. Chefs Sam and Ken and the rest of the team are doing a great job here. Awesome dining experience, I highly recommend you eat here.

Tucked away eatery with a stunning view over the water. We loved walking through the outdoor garden, and being able to see into the kitchen. The service was great, but above all the food was hands down amazing. We had two small plates (venison, and heirloom tomatoes) and a side of roast potatoes which was perfect for two people. I don't know what they did to those tomatoes, but I would gladly eat that dish on it's own. Do just watch out as they have a seperate desert menu and we couldn't help ourselves. The chocolate delice was delish.

Really enjoyed it here! Food is out of this world amazing! No place like it in Auckland. Kids loved the food. Favourite dish was the Fish Fillet, spring vegetable, kina and seaweed butter confit garlic!
Love the interior, love the chef's, love the view and especially love seeing what I was eating growing outside! Reminds me of mums garden.
