Best Korean BBQ in NZ. Never up set me in the last over 10 yrs time. Food quality is great. Fresh squid and pork soup are my favorite. My wife loves the pork belly and beef toungue. Highly recommend. Always busy. Booking is essential man. See the pork belly on my photo, u got to put mushroom with the pork oil.

Food were delicious. I like the marinated pork and beef. I can tell that seafood they display are fresh. Ready to eat food were delicious also especially the fried chicken and the sweet and sour pork. The place can be quite hot during summer and they should have more choices for desserts (i.e ice cream) 🙂

Good Korean bbq buffet place, has plenty of ready to eat food as well as good choice of meat to be cooked. Unlimited water is free, soft drinks and beer for additional cost is available.

Great value of money and good taste. Marinated beef rib is my favourite. Pork belly, beef tough and lamb are good too. So many yum side dish and pumpkin soup. I had my last dinner before I moved out of Auckland and I always try to go when I visit Auckland.

Yummy buffet and good service. The food options are a little sparse and hopefully can be improved.

To be fair the meat and marinate still tasty, just couldn't accept that the cleaning uncle standing next to you and ask you have you finished or not every time I put a piece of meat in my mouth, consider it's rude to do so? Won't visit again as many buffet serve high quality food with better service, I expect no service in a buffet thought.

Not a wide selection of food in comparison to hot pot restaurant, my first time doing Korean bbq so not very sure what to expect. I'm a vegetarian but the rest of the family isn't so I'm much more limited in my choices. They do have a couple of vegetarian friendly options and the owner was kind enough to open another bbq stove for me as I didn't want to mix my food with meat cooking in the same plate.

The best Korean BBQ in the North. Very good and quick service, lovely staff. Meat and vegetables are fresh. Plus they are refilled timely. The grill tray is cast iron, and they a chimneys at each table, so it is not too hot inside. Pretty busy so it is recommended to book a table in advance. Also parking is limited, so plan your trip.

This place means quite a lot for me due to my personal story lol... Anyway, the food is consistently good and fresh.. recommended it for someone who is meat lover and look for some Korean BBQ which is not super fancy.

Decent food options, just a bit crowded, and expect getting really smelly after dinner. Some names were missing from the food, we didn't know what we were eating...but food wise, value for money, a good place for a small group gathering, reservation is essential.

Food was super tasty everything in there selection did not disappoint. Went in summer and the room did get quite hot but that makes sense with all the grills going. While the food was really good the selection was limited.

Very good, and very popular, plan in advance or expect to wait outside until a table is available. Nothing to fault as it's buffet so you help yourself and cook for yourself. Recommend

Price is up ($35), the quality of food and service are the same. Heaps of Chinese and Koreans are dining in there. So, it must be good.

A lot options to choose and good flavours. It can get busy and loud and with all the hot grills, hot too. But it is worth a try

Had my sons birthday here, Boss lady was very helpful & lovely. Staff were attentive an brang out food very quickly. Meat was nice an fresh also liked that th restaurant had a nice look/feel to it, not tacky looking. Many thanks to all of yous.

Highly recommended to eat Reasonably priced and great for groups. Must book on advanced thats how busy they are. Awesome selection of meat. Not for the faint hearted. Definately would come back here again

good price. they need more tables, it's very hard to go there without waiting for a long time for a table even if you booked. Toliet smelled a little but with the number of people there I'm not surprised. Food was really fresh. would be better if there was car park and less of a waiting line, once waited 2 additional hours for a table that we booked.

Besides being crowded with people as it is a hotspot, the service wasn't too bad. Though the quality of the meat wasn't too bad, the unpleasant smell or taste of the frozen meat was a bit of an disappointment. The seasoned meat varieties were kind under seasoned to my taste, and they seemed to lack a bit of taste. But considering it's a BBQ Buffet, I reckon it was okay. Saw lots of posts of rude staff, but on that day, they were just normal... not too rude nor too polite.

Good variety of meat and a mixture of cooked and raw food. I've been twice and we always enjoy our time there. It's always crowded though, so be sure to book ahead!

Great food for great value! There is a good variety of foods there, from cooked food to meats and seafoods to salads and sides. The staff are super nice and everything is very clean. Just make sure to book in advance. It's quite popular so you might have to wait a while if you don't book a table. Overall, it's a great place to hang out and have a feed! I would definitely recommend coming here 💯

Great selection of food. I personally enjoyed the ready to eat food and fried rice was nice. The only thing is that the kimchi was a bit fishy. I suspect they used some sort of fish sauce to make the kimchi. I personally don’t mind, but my friend who despise fish absolutely hates it. Otherwise great!

Good place to have bbq buffet all u can eat.reservation required .been there last 2 week.a guy came to turn off our gas burner and took our drinking cup away.we still have about half an hour to go.its like kicking customer out.very disappointed .been dining there for past few years.not going there anymore

Price has increased per head, however due to increases everywhere its understandable. the owner she is always so extra friendly especially to kids.

For $28 per person, at first I thought it was quite expensive compared to other Korean BBQ places I've been too. In the end I LOVED IT. The meat is good quality and full of flavour. I've been back 3 times since my first time. Highly recommend.

Has a great reputation, they are always busy, so try to book in advance or come early. Fresh food, good range to choose from. Blade is a must try, juicy and tender. Highly recommended

One of the best Korean BBQ buffets in Auckland. It gets really busy on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. So best to book if you plan on visiting during the dinner rush. Each burner has its own extract fan to keep the smoke at bay. A good variety of meat options to cook. The pork is excellent! The staff are very quick to tidy up after you.

This place is great to go to if you are hungry and need a meat injection. $25 for all you can eat cook it yourself buffet. The food is very good quality and the beer/soju is cheap and good. The atmosphere is noisy and busy but a fun way to socialize with friends. Best to go in groups of 4 people.

A Korean BBQ place. This place can be super busy. But they do have lots of tables. Booking is recommended. About food they do real nice bits of sides. And plenty of meat and seafood choices. The place if just ok with average food. Great that they have spices you can choose to use, however they need to improve on their booking. We always have to wait for 30 minutes to an hour Service is ok then there is a grumpy young man who appears to he the owner(Ming) s son. He hardly smiles and acts as if he is doing you a great favor..very rude and stubborn.

This place has undergone huge improvements since we came here a couple years back. The place is really clean and there is a fantastic variety of food and soups available, especially for the affordable $25 buffet. However, be prepared to book in advance, as this place is often very busy with long waiting queues. It is also loud and rowdy, having an atmosphere typical of a buffet. All in all a great spot to at least visit.

Taste was good but the service offered by the owner was awkward.

Most of the raw meats have been marinaded so it's delicious to be cooked on the hot plate. There are quite a few options of cooked dishes that you can dig in before the raw meat has been cooked. It's always quite busy there so be ready to wait for 20 mins before you can get a table!

Lots of variety in meat to choose from, nice busy atmosphere and good service. You an watall the meat you like! Best to book in to avoid waiting in the queue, which I'm glad my partner and I did. Only thing was the toilets were quite messy.

We went for Sunday night dinner.the place was full of people by around 6. We got seated in 10 mins but no complaints as we did not have a booking. Customer service was alright.but they were running off their feet. Great selection of meats and side dishes and prompt refilling of items. recommend the place...one of the best korean food so far. Will definetly go back. Please make a booking,we got lucky to actually get a table. Lol

Hadn't been here for over 4 years due to location, however, we decided to enjoy the night out and it was nothing short of wonderful yet again. So many options to choose from and cook yourself. Be sure to stock up on the massive prawns and loads of wonderful dishes. Fantastic experience yet again. Thank you!

Excellent Korean bbq restaurant with a large selection of meats and side dishes! The sikhye (malt barley drink) is lovely and refreshing too. Friendly and prompt service even in its busy periods. Can be a little noisy so not so good if you want to converse easily but the number of other diners further emphasises it's popularity!

We came all the way from east tamaki to takapuna. 49mins of drive with the after work traffic. Decent korean bbq. However the varienty is limited. Taste was not impressive but good. NZD28 per person, buffet, no time limit. Dining area is very hot. Hygiene of the washrooms requires improvement. If u r coming from southern part of auckland, this does not worth ur travel time.

Apparently this place has been about for going on eight years, I wish I had known. We showed up quite late but the place was still cranking and the lady at the counter was friendly. They have a large range of sides (great vegetarian options), sauces and meat, even gamjatang in a sizzler-style soup warmer. Liked the atmosphere, it was just smoky enough that you knew why you were there. Think I noticed some makgeolli or cheongju that i'll need to test next time.

This place is often very busy and you could hardly find parking spaces. Didn’t like the food and environment... Most of the food are frozen, and the place smells very bad due to the narrow layout of BBQ tables. I personally wouldn’t come again but still worth a try if you live nearby and are just after some cheap meal.
