Amazing Pizza! We drive 15 or so minutes every week just to eat here. The lady serving is always so lovely, such a character. Make sure you order the fried sourdough, its genuinely amazing.

The food was fresh and delicious! We enjoyed the outdoor seats with nice view behind! Also, thank you for offering us the beautiful complementary tiramisu! This is the best birthday dinner experience ever!

We had such a delicious and authentic Italian dinner here! The food was so fresh and flavoursome, we will deifntely be back, even just for one of their amazing takeaway pizzas! Thanks so much to our lovely waitress, she made the whole experience for us. Such great place, highly recommend!

Dante's is one of the restaurants in the Eatery at Eastridge. It is the one closes to the entrance so it has its own tables, both inside and outside. There is a specials board on the outside and they have a menu out front so you can have a look at what they have. They do both pizza and pasta. The pizzas here are quite nice, made with sourdough and quite soft and airy. My friend said it was similar to ones they had in Naples, the only difference being the tomato sauce. The crust was quite nice to eat, almost like a thin, crispy piece of bread. It didn't have a lot of crunch at the base, it was quite soft. The pizzas are made to order in their special oven so you can see them make and cook it before bringing it to your table. They also do a calzone, a turnover made with pizza dough. The one we got was the nutella one. Dollops of nutella cooked inside the tasty dough and served with strawberries and cream. I enjoyed it since the dough wasn't super bready and there was so much nutella inside. It was quite a nice place for pizza. They also have tables near the shop so you can eat there. We were able to order items from a different place and eat it there.

Pizza crust 4/5, topings 3/5. Their pricing is way over the top. $26 for a margherita is a robery! EDIT: Dear owners, if I say price is a robbery, this is my personal opinion :)

I love the pizzas here but after the recent price increases it's just not worth it anymore. Really disappointing as the food is fantastic but 35 dollars for a pizza makes it uneconomical. Mar22 Edit: Dantes I've been back a few times since this review, but your response has ensured I'll never be coming back again.

Excellent pizza! Great bases and fresh ingredients. Staff were very friendly - even when extremely busy and under pressure, they had smiles for everyone.

Awesome energy from the waitress, food was delicious and served quickly! Always love coming to Dantes! No matter which spot we go to it's always amazing!

Amazing restaurant! I ewnt here last night, and the person that was serving me was so nice. They told us about the history of the dish and were it came from. I had the fried sourdough and the ham and cheese pizza. Their food was so nice, definitely going back again!

When you eat their pizza 🍕 you feel like sitting in some pizzeria in Roma.

Food was terribly cold ordered on Uber Eats calamari was not cooked properly. One pizza was wrong and not what we ordered! Flavors were good but who likes eating cold food or having to use the microwave when you spend $39 on a pizza!

Best sourdough pizza!! Great service and friendly staffs. 100% will come back. The staff was very knowledgeable with the menu and recommended the dessert. The tiramisu was a cherry on top.

The food is great here, but the service is even better. Our server Yeta (I'm not too sure on the correct spelling) was super lovely and taught us heaps about traditional Italian food! We'll definitely make sure we return for the Carne pizza (to die for!).

Lovely pizza, one of the best crusts I have eaten! Delightfully crispy yet still fluffy ans sof on the inside.

Would go as far to say that this is the best pizza I’ve had in NZ since my Europe OE. The hostess is so nice abs remembers is when we come in

They forgot to ring the buzzer when our pizza was ready. By the time I approached them the pizza was cold. They didn’t apologise and were quite rude. The pizza tasted ok even if it was cold.

Service was awesome. Little seating. Pizza was great but unfortunately I've had better in Auckland. Base was a little burnt.

Top quality food and service, you won’t find better, more authentic pizzas around, arrabiata was also amazing 👌

The server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. The pasta (beef cheeks special) was incredible. Definitely coming back to try some more on the menu.
