Just opposite to BP on the other side of the road. Customer service is good?? Tht u will find out. But for me, was just very average. If you are after Indian food after 9pm, this is one of the few options around Manurewa. But they close by 10pm.. But food taste ok

Indian food is one of my fave comfort food so I tried to buy some dishes here on my way home from work. Customer service is okay-ish, the place is quite busy around the time i dropped by, waiting time is reasonable too. Food, uhm, not the type you will always go back to. Cleanliness of the place needs to be pointed out too. Overall, there's a lot of room for improvement to this place.

Consistently good food when it comes to mains and starters. Thai options are good too. Good portion size and flavour some. Breads need improvement as sometimes on thicker side.

Very affordable for huge quantity. Very yummy food and whenever we pass by we can't resist the smell of the food. Manchurian is so yummy, our favorite. Best takeaway food we've come across.

Their Garlic Naan bread is amazing.. I was waiting for my laundry to dry, ducked over and picked up 2.. They are huge.. and made fresh too.. I sat and watched as the kitchen hand kneaded the dough, slapped it out to shape, and then smacked it on the wall of the Tandoor. Came out hot, with plenty of garlic.. Yum..

Favourite place for curry in South Auckland! My friend and I have been here a few times now and every vegetarian curry I've ordered has been super yummy, paneer is flavourful with nice texture, and the fresh naan is great. Lady behind the counter was also happy to fill up my water bottle with cold water, which I appreciate. Cheap too, can't fault it :)

Love this place. First time here wont be the last. Buttered chicken just the way i love it. Naan bread cooked fresh. Great service. Perfect. Curries served sweet and spicy to hot and spicy. Family friend and affordable. The curry combos are $15 and ate delicious. Included are naan bread and drink.

Nice lil eatery specialising in Indian and Thai dishes. Have only had 1 dish from here so cant rate the restaurant as a whole based on that 1 dish which was the Butter Chicken. Was a bit sweet for my liking but the serving was good. Naan bread saved this dish. Had Curry puffs and Spring rolls for sides. These were nice and tasty. Will have to try other dishes which may determine me changing my rating here.

Normally I get a really nice butterchicken from here but this time (maybe because they were busy) I was less impressed, after a couple of mouth fulls I had to stop eating it as all I could taste was sugar. Food is always good. My husband's favourite spot cos they do have a variety of food. Has good prices and good portion sizes. There is a reasonable size seating area to enjoy your food. Only give it 4 stars for atmosphere, as the shop needs a spruce up. A bit run down. But it won't stop us from coming back, that's how good it is.

This place is absolute legitness to the fullest. In other words it makes the best butter chicken, chicken Tika Masala and garlic Naan that has ever hit my palate. If you live in the south auckland region I would in doubt recommend going to this place. The service is also top notch facility!😁

I love your food but butter paneer tonight was not just mild it was super sweet, mild does not mean adding half kg sugar in it. Please consider making it mild instead of sweet so we can actually enjoy it.

This is our go to place when we want curry. However Iam not fond of the chicken pieces in the curry because sometimes they are dry & overcooked so I normally just get the sauce. The flavours are really good and the fresh nan is delish.

fantastic people, fantastic food and fantastic price. we order almost every week. we have tried only indian food but its one of the best value for money around town. they recently renovated the place so ots much better now to sit and eat with family and kids. plenty of parking space and other facilities around. a petrol pump is across the street. You dont come here for the decor, you come here for the FOOD!! This is one of those rare gems that actually does both Thai and Indian food well. Our family has been getting our weekly takeaways here for years and the food never faults. Firm favourites are the Chicken Jalfrezi, Lamb Madras, Pad Thai and of course the Garlic & Cheese Naans. Please never change!

My wife and I went to The Empress (Empress of India) tonight 16/3/2020. We had a generous helping of Pakora, with delicious Tamarind sauce. Then we ordered Malai Kofta (hot) and Palak Paneer (hot). They both came out with great flavor and the best heat we’ve had since touching down in New Zealand. We would highly recommend The Empress to any true fans of Indian cuisine.
