A.Couldn’t resist getting the 18-inch despite the fact that there were only two of us ordering… YUM YUM YUM! 🍕✨ Deliciously crispy base with a lovely savoury flavour, a couple of charred patches with gorgeous crunch, and of course that cheesy perfection. Highly recommend for those craving a NY pizza fix!

A.There’s very few places where I feel compelled to review, but this place makes possibly the most mouth watering pizzas I’ve ever had. Simply put there is no pizza in Auckland like an Epolitos’s and craft is what you’re buying. Thanks to you guys for creating such a beautiful food offering.

A.I'm a massive fan of the pizza from Epolito's, especially the Meatball, simple but absolutely full of flavour, you really can't have a bad day if it includes pizza this good.
The staff there are awesome too, always an awesome vibe and just great people, it's one of those places that feels like home when you become a repeat customer.
5 Stars that are well earned in my book.
S.Large and XLarge pizzas available. Some flavors is possible to order half from each option. Sizes are great and you can easily share a XLarge with 3 or 4 people. Cheap and great quality. Friendly staff too.
C.Best pizza i’ve had in Auckland. If you love pizza you have to tick this off the list and you’ll keep coming back. Only improvement i’d say is they could offer a few sides like fries they only do salad but I guess they’re focusing on just making great pizza and I respect that.
S.The "on Madison" is a must try. The roast garlic-feta-olives combo is perfection!

J.I loved my pizza Not heavy or glutinous and hard to digest BUT crisp light and so deliciousTrue New York style yeast base but left to rise / age so Chicolena the creator told me - so that gluten level is reduced. I think that's the secret to their 5 star pizzas Large and extra large available plus a $5 option for a piece. I prefer my own selection as vegatarian Thoroughly recommend Every month there is entertainment the local Grey Lynn Linn Lorkin and her team of talented musicians Locals pour in - couldnt be better
J.Best pizza I’ve had in Auckland so far. Oh my! The sausage! Some Mozzadell would be a bit less greasy perhaps? Maybe I’m just being facetious....I’ll definitely be back!

Was worthwhile calling in to pick them up and meet the staff as they made the pizzas.
I'd have to say the Rocco - Anchovy, capers and black olive was my favorite, followed closely by the East Side - Artichoke, Lemon and Parmesan.
These are thin base pizzas with a great crunchy edge. Apparently the dough is a family secret.
They went down very well and we'll be back!
M.Forget about every other pizza place in Auckland. This is the real deal if you want New York-style pizza - huge slices with just the right combination of toppings. New Zealand has massacred the concept of pizza but Epolito's redeems us.
t.Excellent pizza, great crust, one of the best in Auckland. Their meatballs and sausage seem to be made in house, great flavours. Meatball has a nice garlicy flavour. The sausage is good and spicy.
However the cheese appears to be just cheddar, not mozzarella. This is the only let down. If they offered an option for stretchy mozzarella this would be a 5 stars, hands down and you could forget Sal's.

A.Love this local pizza shop. Easy to order, on ubereats too. Quick to make.. Time to have a wine/beer whilst waiting! Favourite is the simple pepperoni 1/2,1/2 sausage. Big sizes. Don't waste your money on other pizza!!
B.Epolitos was out favourite pizza place when we left Auckland 10 years ago. Nothing has changed (except for the venue) managed to get back there tonight. We had. 3 pies the two vege options and the meaty one (can't remember the names sorry) all were delicious and that pizza base! Still perfection!
S.This was exactly what I felt like eating, really well made pizza. I ordered margarita to take away, it was ready in 20 mins. The pizza was hot on arrival, I love how the bottom of the base is a bit crispy, not soggy like you can get from other places. Pizza sauce was yum. I ordered 14” which was still pretty big. A little expensive, but it was great quality so I consider it worth it!
k.Amazing first pizza after lockdown! Half Pepperoni, Half Sicilian Sausage. Can never fault pepperoni but the flavour of the sausage was delicious. Thanks for doing the Half/half request. Looking forward to many more pizzas.
J.Epolitos is a great pizza joint. You can tell that everything is made with love. The crust, sauce, toppings...everything is very flavorful. The customer service is always really great as well! My personal favorite pie is the Brooklyn. I love the oIives with the slightly spicy sicilian sausage! I really appreciate what they do at Epolitos and I will be back again and again.
M.THE BEST PIZZA BY FAR IN AUCKLAND. Take out or dine in, their pizza is to die for! I always go for the East Side which is Artichoke, Lemon, Parmesan. The pizza's are a bit more expensive, but trust me, it's worth it. A large (priced between $24-$44) is more than enough for two. Would be a good date night spot too.
M.Phenomenal New York style PIZZAS!! Everything is made from scratch. Well Experienced Italian American baker knows the traditional recipes came from the family. That's why l enjoy those authentic New York style pizzas in NZ:). I am so lucky to have this pizzeria in Ponsonby. Absolutely Highly Recommended!!

R.As a born and raised New Yorker, I give their classic cheese 8.5/10 for authenticity. The dough lack the texture, although, I don’t believe it’s their fault. You simply can’t beat NYC water. It could have used a wee bit more cheese, but other than that it was a damn good pie! Much better than Sal’s! I’ll be back!

It wafts out onto the pavement and entices you inside where you are greeted by homely, happy, healthy surrounds and fine & friendly faces eager to satisfy your hunger and satiate your thirst. Grab a beer and take a seat while your mouthwatering meal is prepared before your eyes. Well worth the wait. Eat in - take out - either way you'll be back. These good people know how to treat food and create memories. Love it!
H.🤔 was really excited to try this pizza after reading all the 5 star reviews.. however I feel a bit let down, like it wasn’t outstanding but it wasn’t bad it was just in the middle.. I tried the “margarita”and the “cabby” perhaps next time I’ll try a different flavor
