Just moved to this area, read the great reviews about this place and trusted them. Glad I did! Beautiful fish and chips! Non greasy, very Crispy batter and crumb. Clean tasting and generous size! So lovely. Thankyou!

Love their takeaways when I'm on their side of town. Oil is clean tasting, very popular with the locals, sometimes might find a long waiting time. Try them out you won't be disappointed then wander down to the local beach and enjoy !!!

Found this takeaway hidden in a carpark by countdown. Had fish, chips, mussel, and squid ring. Simply the best! Fish was a large piece, very thick. Chips were cooked perfectly. All the food was well strained, the wrapper was not greasy. Will be back again.

I had lovely order of fish and chips and Oysters. The fish was snapper and tasted very fresh. I was served by two attractive and very polite Asian women (perhaps mother and daughter). It was just on closing time Saturday night so I was lucky to get my order in. I would rate this fish and chip takeaways the best in Howick.

I have removed my 1 star review from about a year ago, as I just visited this place again for a cheeky chippy for lunch. I decided to give them one more shot to see if things had improved, plus it was super convenient as I now live just round the corner :) Well, things have improved 100%. I was surprised at how much different it was this time. Nice portions, and crispy batter on the fish. It was in fact, a real treat this time. They have also updated the shop, so not sure if they're new owners, or just done an upgrade, but it's really well done now. So, yes; A marked improvement from last time!
