Delicious and tasty fish n chips

Best fish and chips in the area. The batter is so light and crispy on the hot dogs and the fish, def not soggy. The fish did lack flavor but that is because they used Hoki, if there is another fish option I will def go with that than Hoki. Will be going back.

Every time we’ve ordered we’ve got the burger meal it’s such a good value for money meal and isn’t bad tasting either and the fact you get chips and a hotdog with the burger is great .the doughnuts they do are so yum too. We order on the phone and with in 15 mins it’s ready awesome 👏

The best chippy in the area. The gentleman who runs the shop is lovely and offered free lemons from his yard to use on the fish. Decent prices and very clean.

We Googled the nearest Fish and Chip shop to where we were holidaying, and were very glad to find Fish Bar. Great efficient, friendly service, and the fish and chips were definitely some of the best we've had. Will be back next time we're in the area....

I think I’ve tried all the chippies on the peninsula now and this one is definitely the best. The fish is always delicious and the batter is really good. Chips are cooked nice too. Even though there is another chip shop 2 mins from where we live, we drive 10 mins each way to go to this one instead because it’s that much better. Prices are also very reasonable.

If you have a sense of humor then visit this place for its character; the character being the grandpa who answers the phone, gets them going in the kitchen and tell you to wait 'your name has not yet been called'. My love for their crumbed snapper or the fish cakes and their chips which are always 👌; its that which stops me from getting angry at being barked at occasionally, or hearing him barking at everybody (staff and customers)... his heart is at the right place and the food always warms my soul.

I found this Fish and Chip shop by accident. I googled the nearest fish & chip shop and rang through an order for me and my friends. Then I went to shop that I thought it was and they didn't have my order. When I eventually got to correct shop the food was fantastic. Best ever. My friends now insist that I always get their F&C's from this shop.

The snapper and chips I ate today were delicious! I wish I could eat this snapper every day. The guy who cooked my meal clearly knows exactly what he is doing. I highly recommend this place if you feel like great fish and chips.

This would be our favourite fish and chip shop in the whangaparaoa area. The chips are nice and they make a really good fish burger. The wait is okay too, they have a good organised process. Definitely recommend this place!
