The food is excellent. Steak was perfect, kids loved the pizza, hamburger very tasty. Good service, they give you time to enjoy your drinks, company and food. Will be back.

Great little find! Really enjoyed our meal here. The kids meals were great, they especially liked the ham and cheese pizza. The lamb shank was fantastic too.. just fell off the bone. Lovely family friendly atmosphere and not too crowded.

Very nice location and very pleasant atmosphere. Place gives me a vibe of a restaurant on Mediterranean. We had ordered pizza for takeaway few times before and recently went for dinner. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Just few days ago they introduced a new menu and food was good. Service was quick enough and server did check if we were happy with food. I do find it to be pricy. I I'll be there again for sure.

A nice restaurant to dine at if you need a good view. The restaurant itself is quite big and is surrounded by some great architecture. Food was great, and the Tiramisu pudding was delicious. They have a lot of selection available on tap, including Guinness stout (my personal favourite). Overall, a nice pleasant experience and will be back for a second visit.

Fish slightly overdone but generous proportions chips & salad. Chairs badly need some tlc fresh paint would spruce them up as badly chipped. Lovely atmosphere waitress very charming & polite.

The pizza here is amazing, the base doesn't taste like rubber (like for takeaway pizza) and they have a good toppings to base ratio. A bit too much cheese for me, but I know most people prefer lots of cheese. The pizza is also pretty cheap for its size and quality of ingredients used. The spear ribs were a bit dry for my liking and the fries weren't great. The coleslaw looked really nice but I'm not a fan of salad. Location is peaceful and there is plenty of room. Food does take some time to arrive, but the pizzas are worth the wait.

Dinned here a few days ago and wonderful service, food was very nice as well had a few pizzas and drinks tasted amazing, girl who served us was so nice to us and kept checking on us throughout the meal. Would definitely return here when i am on the north shore.

Had a great day with my Ma yesterday, lunch was yummy, hearty sized and extremely well priced. Add the fantastic service from Sonya, with a y, just makes for an awesome afternoon outing. See ya again soon! Thanks team!

One of the best Pizza's we have had in NZ. By far the best wedges we've had too. Delivery was quick and everything was hot. Can't wait to go to Whangaparoa again just for this!

Popped into the 4Square for some juice and spotted my mate Steve’s bike parked up. So shot into the bar and had a beer with him and a great chat. Bar staff were fantastic, friendly and a good laugh. Highly recommended for a drink and a nice meal.

Great service, and really kid friendly. The kids meals came out quickly and before our mains which allowed us to get them fed and enjoy our meals while they were still hot. The kids meals were extremely generous, and kept our 1yr old and 3yr old happy. The kids play area is a really nice touch too. Our food was really good, especially the pork belly. Will be back soon, hopefully without the kids so we can stay a bit longer and try the desserts!

it was ok. young staff were willing but untrained by the experience. a pity. nice venue requires a clean up on bar fronts, stainless steel and wc. glasses low quality, cheap not the type I want to drink Glenfidich whisky out of. pizza good seafood. price ok. hope they get better.

This place is absolutely fantastic !! We took our Dad from Spain and he wants to go again. The place looks fresh and the service was spot on. The kitchen us open so you can see the food being made. We had the chicken wings to start. The sauce was so yummy. We just wished we had bread to lap it up with. We then ordered a dish each and shared it all. The pork belly was in a gorgeous lime sauce that complemented it perfectly. The salad that cane with the dishes were yummy too. Everything was cooked perfectly and came out on time. We then had a dessert of sticky date and crumble. Both were fantastic. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable evening and we will be back again soon. Thank you for giving us such a great and memorable evening in such a gorgeous setting.

Love the food here. Would be five stars but service sometimes a little slow and decor a little dated. But still return as there is a friendly barman and good value tasty food.

We took our family here just before New Year's Eve. We were totally impressed. The service was great, the staff were attentive, polite and quick. The food was excellent, large portions and fresh food. We had the seafood platter, pizzas, chicken Caesar salad, it was absolutely delicious. We will certainly be back :-) Well done Fres Co

We had dinner here with our two young children. The food took a very long time to come out but they explained that they were one chef down and were very apologetic, even didn't charge us for one of the meals. There's a great little play area for kids which helped keep them entertained. There was accidents with the kids dessert and they brought replacements out right away with no extra charge. Top notch.

Delicious food. We arrived one evening without a booking. There was a private function on but we were still welcome to dine. The owner is lovely and a happy guy. It was a little cold though. Perhaps a heater would have made the experience a little more comfortable as we didn't take our Kathmandu jackets off the whole time. Drink selection was good. I had the Hapuka fish and the flavours were fantastic. It was cooked perfectly. My partner had the kiwi burger and he said it was fresh and meaty. It's basically right on the mariner so nice to go for a stroll afterwards.

The setting may look a little worn and in need of some TLC but the food was great. Great fries and salt and pepper squid. Service was solid. A play area for kids always welcome for parents.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary at Fresco Sunday afternoon. Food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Great friendly staff, prompt and efficient. Reasonably priced. Lovely peaceful surroundings. Would highly recommend and would most definitely go back again. Thanks Fresco.

My family and I celebrated Dad's birthday Friday night at Fresco's. Dilshan and his staff treated us so well. The food was absolutely amazing, so delicious. Great evening, thoroughly enjoyed it. Been to Fresco's a few times now, always friendly, with great food and attentive staff. Thanks heaps.

A great spot to sit outside and enjoy a meal, service was slow this time but they did explain they were having some issues with level 2 takeaway orders, the food was good so we forgave the wait

Had a great experience at Fresco watching the rugby. Good vibe, friendly staff, new barman was fantastic - managed a busy pub by himself really well. Food was tasty and plentiful, we'll be back.

Fresco is my local pub and its a great place to spend some quality time. Its spread across 3 sitting spaces, around the pub, the outdoors and the restaurant. Suits every occasion from the nice relaxing conversation outing to the I need to watch sports or listen to music type. With children on a sunny Sunday afternoon the outdoor sitting is great. Food and drink is great. Dont miss the meat platter if you are 2 or more.

Been here more than 3 times and can never fault the food I’ve been served. Salt and pepper squid is my favourite and service is always good for time as haven’t had to wait too long for my meal to come out. Excellent prices through out all dishes including the restaurant and snack bar menus. Overall a lovely atmosphere with the staff being polite and friendly always there for assistance when needed.

Fantastic meal. Food was tasty, fresh and generous portions. Waitress friendly and helpful. Service a little slow so go with time to chat and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. We will be back!

Wow,very good foods ,pizza is really tasty,ribs with salad is big portion and very yummy and good price I tried few places this ribs was second place that I love ,cocktails are good and different 😋 oh I forgot to say calamari is great too.

I had for dinner here it's good.

A 30 minute wait for food, which we were informed, but it wasn't that busy. Salt n pepper squid requested with chili sauce and walnuts 'on the side'. No walnuts. Crumbled calamari was ok although a bit floury. Pizza and 2 burgers were wolfed down. Sat outside and enjoyed the locals and visitors by the marina inlet. The toilets need a smaller bin to dispose of hand towels! And it was tiny!!!

Another fantastic dinner tonight. A++ service and food as always. Love coming here everytime I'm up this way. Big A+++++ to the Manager (owner?) that was on tonight who went the extra mile for us. Thank you

Excellent food and good service..dog friendly too. Only reason 5 stars not given was bird poop on tables and chairs which appeared to be old should have been cleaned prior to opening this morning. Otherwise nice relaxing venue

We had a lovely lunch there today. A great range of food choices on the menu. All reasonably priced. Our food looked amazing and tasted delicious. Will definitely be back more often.

Had a awesome night, food amazing, hubby loved the pork belly just fell off the fork So 10 out of 10 for him, after dinner headed next door to the bar for a nice wine to top off the evening. We are so going back to try more off the menu.

I give this place a four star but I would say it depends on what you order. I have been three times and always had the pizza which is tip top. Others have had disappointing meals but this is my review!

We had a great time with friends. Good live music and small dance floor. Only suggestion would be to have sound on during the all black game and music after game finishes.

Food was good, service was good, didn't have to wait long after ordering and was reasonably priced. The cocktails we're also very reasonably priced.

Nice place. Ribs are really nice ($25) as is the braised lamb ($27). Always forget my mushroom sauce when I order steak though. 😣

Nice food, but takes a shockingly long time for orders to be taken, food takes over an hour to come out, despite being a slow night. When it finally does, its in drips and drabs.

Place could do with a face lift and tidy up the menus that ft grubby BUT the food was good. Service a little slow but overall happy we are here.

We had a seafood paddle - incredible value for money and so nice. We shared between two and couldn’t finish it. Seafood was cooked beautifully.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The flavours were really different. I loved the mix of ingredients that made this very different than the average breakfast.

Cheap prices good quality!! I come here with myself family for celebrations and I work here Monday to Friday and love to see all the satisfied customers we have during the day and night!

Latte was lovely after big hike around reserve. Felt like Disney land with canal and bright apartments, even more so after a wine 🍷
