R.Nice little Indian food takeaway in the Chartwell shops complex.
The food is nice and tasty.
Preparation of food is quick and well done.
One can order online via third party apps or via phone for a pick up too.
The location is convenient and easily accessible by road.
Staff are nice and helpful.

L.Not too much Indian take away do mango chicken but they are, right for the season, not too heavy, the garlic nan was good
S.Will definately recommend. Polite friendly service backed by delicious n fair pricing. It was a take-away; COVID guidelines adhered too and did not have to wait long for freshly prepared dishes. Family loved the food. It will not be long before we make another trip to the food outlet...keep it up 👍👍

T.OMG...we've been loyal clients forever. Let me add, being an indian, the bar is always set high when comparing to my mums cooking ..however , this would absolutely be the very best when it comes to curry dishes.
But it's not just about that, the personal touch of unbelievable customer service , consistantly is a hard act to folllow when it comes to this type of Establishment.
Our anniversary, 2 yrs,and we get a special chef's dish ,delivered by the owner as a gesture ..that's just gold.wedone gem of India. You guys make the best food,and deliver when it mmatt6.

O.Went to this place on Saturday night just before closing. Absolutely amazing. The food was second to none, the service was perfect and so sooo welcoming. They even stayed open a little later so that we could dine in as we were on a motorbike. So sooo kind. Thoroughly recommend and we will be there often as their food is Owsome. U.The BEST chhole-bhature we have ever had anywhere outside India. We have tried chhole-bhature in dozens of places..in many countries- it is not the same anywhere else. Amazing flavours, authentic punjabi aromas.... taste.. fragrance. You feel it when you eat it ! Hats off to their WONDERFUL cooks. We tried a few other dishes as well. AWESOME is the word. The simplicity and modesty is not a give-away. This is a must-have for anybody looking for authentic flavours.

A.I love their food but one thing I noticed that staff were not wearing any gloves. I saw one of their staff member was touching eftpos machine and after that without washing his hands he started serving food to the customers. Which is very unhygienic during this pandemic situation. I hope they will give concern to this situation in future.

S.A true hidden gem among Indian restaurants. Lunch special is seriously a steal, at 11.50 for a wholesome feed, since most dining options elsewhere would cost you at least 15. They also do a wider range of tandoori and free delivery if you purchase over 35, and live within 4km of the store. But, be aware this is a made-to-order type of diner. The usual cashier/service is very slow, they have little idea of what fast-paced lunch times are. So expect a 7 to 20min wait for reasonably authentic curry at an affordable price point.
L.The Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious (we requested for spicy) and the butter naans were well prepared fluffy and tasted yummy. This eatery is under new management and prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended for a nice Indian meal.
H.Best place to eat and do takeaway for Indian curries! I didn’t mentioned that i want medium spicy cyrry and they made it mild so they replaced it with new one without me asking fir it😊. Such a good service snd great staff trust me.
R.I had ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Masala and loved the food..Lamb was properly cooked and Tikka Masala had perfect flavours, loved the crispy Butter Naan..I am definitely coming back to you for future orders and also will recommend Gem of India to friends and family.

I have been to a lot of Indian restaurants and ordered 'Indian hot' and received a curry that I would describe as mild/medium. At Gem of India I think I was finally served the spice I requested! Indian hot! THANK YOU! I have a very high spice tolerance. If only there were a spice level greater than Indian hot. Maryanne hot perhaps? 🤓
If you want great Indian food Gem of India is the place to go!

J.I'm giving 3 stars because the butter chicken which is supposed to be mild was too spicy. I have a skin condition which doesn't allow me to eat spicy food, so I was very dissapointed. :(
