Surprisingly really good fish ! Really enjoyed the batter and the hoki just flaked off nicely. Chips were average. Pineapple fritter was average. Not bad a takeaway

This is based on 1 fried rice dish that I've tried - their Special Fried Rice. I've since gone back for more of the same, soon after and I made sure I complimented the chef. Both times it was exactly the same: Rice not clumpy, well seasoned/flavoured and the ingredients are of good quality and cooked well. Container was full enough so that the contours of the lid was pressed into the rice and it is a challenge to get out without spilling a little. Notably, the chicken really tasted like chicken and seemed to have texture, unlike the knobbly chicken nuggets found in most other takeaways. It has a wonderful background flavour as from a well seasoned wok, like how a BBQ grill can have the flavour of a 100 BBQs in it. It might be subtle but the flavour took me back to a beef yakisoba I really enjoyed from Genta Japanese restaurant on Commerce street some years back. I'm keen to try other dishes from here and hope their European takeaways are just as good - especially after an extremely disappointing visit to Welcome Takeaways on Coronation Rd recently. I should have gone a bit further back to Glenfield. I have learned my lesson.

It costs a little extra to swap cauliflower to broccoli in chop such but I reckon it's worth it. Food is tasty, parking is tricky. Staff are friendly enough

Tasty Chinese takeaways and fish and chips! The burgers are big and amazing, the Chinese is always fresh and hot, you can order over the phone and get it within 15 minutes.

My favourite Chinese takeaway on the shore. The food is fresh, tasty and well priced and you get lovely big portions. The service has always been excellent too! Allround great place!

They call it a "smorgasbord" and they're right, because they truly are trying to be by offering just about anything from burgers and fries to fish to the typical Chinese takeaway options. Now, when you do a bit of everything, you can't really be a master of one, but I'm still going to come back to get my Chinese food fix from time to time. The main name doesn't say it, but it is only a takeaway shop as I don't believe there's even 1 table inside.

Pretty average compared to other similar places on the North Shore. The chicken fried rice and honey chicken noodles were pretty bland and the sweet and sour pork was quite different to how most Chinese takeaway restaurants make it. We only tried the fries from the deep fried selection, but again, they were average compared to similar places. The portion sizes are very generous though, so you're getting good value for money

Best place around Glenfield for takeaway style Chinese food with great prices. Portion sizes are big compared to other takeaways. They won't add too much oil /MSG if you requests. Good owners. They put plenty of meat to their fried rice. Never disappointed and would highly recommend this place.

Been going here since I was a kid. Glad it made it through covid. Unironically good, cheap food. Not some like, 5 star restaurant that's for sure, but it feels like home. Home of greasy goodness and Chinese delights

I have never had a bad meal from here and the cooking oil is never old. My only suggestion would be to increase the heat of the deep fryer so the batter doesn't absorb so much oil.

Great value. We very frequently order a fried rice and a Chop Suey. Chop Suey is loaded with vegetable and plenty of meat. Fried rice tastes fine and in great volume. Great way to have a take out meal that's reasonably healthy on a budget.

We have known this place for years. Food taste and amount is consistently the same. The service is fast and they are attentive to the customers. Try their chicken wings, they're our top fave!
