For me it seems a Fiji Indian restaurant and takeaway. Not a bad option to try Fiji Fiji Indian taste if u love exploring different cuisines.. They r open till 11pm if I am not mistaken. I remember I bought some food nearly 11pm. I find food is oily though.

Clean and quiet ambience. Tables and chairs are dressed looking smart. Friendly and helpful staff. We love the Chips and won tons entrée. The crispy chicken is a must and the whole snapper was delicious. However, the vegetable delight was disappointing. Portions were reasonably good and affordable. Well recommended. .

We had fish and chips from the takeaway section and it was delicious! Everything was so yum. Chips and fish were crispy and burger was yum. I am glad we found our official takeaway place after moving to Mangere.

Visited this place for the first time ever and found the operators to be extremely polite, helpful and fast to attend their customers with a beautiful smile and greetings, not to forget to mention that lady at the counter was equipped with a face mask and wearing gloves even though we are on level 1. They take peoples health and safety seriously protecting customers and themselves for which i applaud them for their efforts. The food was realy good. Nothing to be faulted. Will definitely visit this place again. I do recommend all to support their business. Will always support local businesses and wish them success in the coming years and hope their business prosper.

I saw few changes and it looks a lot brighter with the new painting and kitchen repainted snd looks tidy Food was fabulous with nice hospitality the owners are very friendly .BYO is allowed eventhough they sell at the restaurant

Although at the lower end of the spectrum the Golden Garden Restaurant always provides good plentiful food at a really great price. The staff are always kind and courteous.

A place we have dined for many many years and consider it an icon of the papatoetoe area. The food is excellent the service is always great and there prices very reasonable. We highly recommend this place. It has a very classic look but the food is high quality.

Hey guys, this place doesn't look the flashiest in the world but out of the local Chinese places in Old Papatoetoe it's the best one ( exception for the sweet n sour pork ) the food is all flavoursome the vegetables seems fresh, most times the hot chips are nice.
