Always delicious food at this Goode Brothers. A little delay with having someone come and seat us but once that was sorted service was quick and the food was scrumptious. We ordered spaghetti bolognaise and I had tiger prawns that were fabulous. Cocktails were wonderful on a hot summer's day. Highly recommended.

Lunch date! Great service from the get go, and throughout our whole dining experience. Covid protocols are in place so make sure you have your vaccine pass handy. We chose a day where it wasn't too busy, so it was nice to have some space between us and other diners. Aircon made the indoor eating enjoyable. We chose our own seats. There were water bowls, treats, and blankets available for your furry family members if you so chose to bring one along, tick from this animal lover! Although we didn't have children with us, there were crayons and paper available to keep children entertained while waiting. A range of vegetarian or gluten-friendly meals available. We had: - Loaded burger - Make your own salad (spinach, tomato, onion, cucumber, chicken, mango dressing) - Panna cotta - Nutella calzone - Lemon lime bitters Salad had fresh ingredients. Was delicious and refreshing. Would easily order again and mix up the ingredients. Burger meal got the tic from the other half with a delicious mix of ingredients and flavours. Fries were a nice touch with aioli. Panna cotta was layered beautifully with strawberry pieces and had just the right level of sweet and tangy. Nutella calzone was huge, this is easily a 2 person dessert, and is very rich with small serves of ice cream. So unless you're a chocoholic, I wouldn't take this on solo! Overall great pricing, service and atmosphere. Would return (and maybe end up on the 'Regulars' wall!)

Overall was good but my meal was a bit average. But the corn fritter has more spring onion than corn. Couldn't taste anything else but spring onion. It was more like a spring onion fritter. The photo was of the part that was more corn 😂 never seen a corn fritter like this.

Good pizza and pasta restaurant inside the Northwest mall complex. Quality foods served always. Very friendly atmosphere, well suited for the whole family and friends. Highly recommended.

Truly was an amazing waitress for us yesterday! Kind, caring and did her job exceptionally well for someone who is somewhat new!! Once shes been there for a while, she will be killing it, you can just tell the people that are made for customer service and she is 100% one of those amazing people! Our food was amazing and the portion sizes were very generous! I had a loaded burger with bacon and fries and was only able to eat half my meal 🤣 it was still just as delicious at dinner time lol Also I need to shout out the soy, no cream iced chocolate!! I absolutely LOVE when places used actual crushed ice in the drink to make it thick and you guys did!! Both my niece and I loved the drink haha that in itself is enough to get me coming back 🤣🤣 HIGHLY recommend Goode Brothers to anyone thinking of trying it!!

This was our second trip to Goode Brothers, and the children and I were well taken care of by our server, Larissa. Manager Raman checked in frequently to ensure things were going well, and it was lovely to arrive at the table for my birthday meal to see a little sign wishing me a happy birthday! The food came quickly and it was nice to see the kids' menu included options beyond the standard fish & chips, chicken nuggets, etc. The grilled chicken and veggies meal was very healthy and a big hit, as were the included juice and ice cream. Thank you to all!

Amazing service and Amazing food! I was served by Evelyn and she was wonderful! I was struggling to choose from the menu and she recommended me the lamb pizza, which was perfect for me! Will come again.

Service was good and staff was very attentive. Fish and chips was good too but the spring onion garnish was a definite mismatch. Rib-eye steak was meant to be medium-rare however it came over cooked. The beef burger on the other hand ought to be taken off the menu as it's tasteless and the patties were cooked so dry that it had completely shrunk in size! Bite after bite and still not able to reach that leathery meat...

Margarita pizza was fantastic and well priced. Large tomato pieces, lots of gooey cheese and a well cooked base made for a fine pizza. Chips and aioli were nice and the bar was pretty busy for a Thursday. Staff were friendly and regularly available. Will be coming back here again. Only downside was my water glass had lipstick stains from a previous patron. Now I’m not sure if the glass was inadequately washed or not washed at all but I find that pretty unacceptable, hence the 4 stars. Please make sure glasses are properly washed.

Really good food. Staff were great, orderd two beers from their menu that they didn't have, 3rd time lucky. When I went to pay they had charged me for 1 of the beers they didn't have. They were quick to delete from the bill no questions asked. They even split the bill with no hassle.

Awesome! Loved the ambience of the place as well as the food! Had an OK experience here... Manager was quite friendly but when we were seated it seemed that the wait staff forgot about my fiance and I. We sat there for 20 mins (I checked from when I signed in at the front on the covid tracer) and no one came to take our order for drinks or food... We just kept staring at wait staff hoping someone will notice us. They just kept bringing food to other tables and asking others if they're OK. I tried calling out to someone walking past but they both didn't hear... I ended up having to get up and ask someone at the front to take our order. I said to the girl "can someone pls take our order? We've been waiting for ages" she just replied "ok" 😂 well OK then 😂😂😂 that's a good answer 😂 Other than that, we had a good time and food was great. The manager (Sorry didn't get his name but he wore a turban) was very friendly and accommodating, so kudos to him. He went above and beyond for us and from what we saw, very friendly guy. Hopefully next time we have a better experience... Its not a good feeling when everyone around us literally gets served and the servers care about them... Yet we're ignored for some reason. Its really disheartening...

We had a beautiful Brunch here, all sorts of options to eat and drink. Nice table setting next to the window, so a nice view of the new courtyard area. I loved the Bolognaise on toast, and the smoothie was very tasty, thankyou!

Good summer lunchtime pub. All the outdoor seats had shade. Tiger beer on tap is rare in West Auckland. Really like going to this pub.

3rd time in a row not satisfied unfortunately. Orders taken 3 times, kids meals not explained the 1st time, dessert orders taken but only 1 option was available. 'Turamisu on the house' which has coffe , was replaced for kids dessert! But we got charged in the end anyway! Dont order anything with feta, barely any. Last time on my lamb Mediterranean salad, this time on my grilled chicken salad. Seriously, abt half a tsp! ' Goode Brothers' cocktail was good.

We had our work function at goode brothers Westgate, staff were really friendly and had a laugh and joke with us too which was cool. Staff recommended pizzas which we all enjoyed we had a great night sitting outside in the sun.

First night out for dinner since the end of lockdown and it was fabulous thanks to the wonderful attentive attitude of the staff. We were served by Raman and Jade. Both were friendly and great at their job making the night fun for us. I loved how all the staff came out singing for a birthday at another table too. I LOVED the fried chicken made gluten free on request. Soooo long since I got to enjoy fried chicken and there was plenty of it. Hubby had the fish and chips and said it was amazing.

Great food and decently priced for a pub. Really good atmosphere and ambience. However their customer service is top notch. The manager on duty took excellent care of us throughout the night. Providing suggestions for options and also giving one of our group a drink on the house because it was his birthday. Highly recommend trying their fire starter pizza.

Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Goode brothers is a chain restaurant with a couple of outlets around Auckland. The meals were delicious and I was pleasantly surprised as I did not expect this quality from a chain restaurant! I will be back :) Group of 4 ordered the kiwi pork belly fettuccine pasta, seafood fettuccine pasta, beef cheeks main, aranchini bites and stuffed mushrooms. Recommended!!

Last review 7 months again, so this is an update. 5 Stars then, updated to 3 Stars on this occasion. Still excellent values, decent meals. No booking required. Overtime, whilst prices stay the same, the serving portions have reduced on some dishes. Some waiting staff offer great servicing consistently while others couldn't even be bothered to offer customers a smile. During busy time, felt understaffed as the table next to us had to ask 3 times for their orders to be taken. Again, excellent values on Mondays and Tuesdays so recommending a try.

Great place! Went there for lunch with my mother and the food was delicious as well as being reasonably priced! They have a few solid options for vegetarians and gluten intolerance, including GF pasta ($3 surcharge)! The wait staff were friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was upscale but casual/cosey. They are following Covid -19 protocols, with the vaccine passport system and masks where needed. I would very much recommend this place.

1st time at the Westgate branch, service was just as good as the new lynn branch. Indoor/outdoor flow, the place was fairly quiet. Ordered a seafood pasta, double cheese burger and scotch fillet w/mushroom sauce, all 3 meals were delish. Nice to see the consistency in service throughout the diff branches.

Update 23/02/'19: The good times continue! GB's have added a lot more family fun over and above their great service - all welcome! Vegan options now available + kids pizza cooking classes! Great ambience with an open plan flow that works - seeing the kitchen action is great. After multiple visits over different times ordering different dishes I can say the food is great with some nice options - all fairly priced. Place is neat and tidy. Waitrons are attentive.

I am giving these guys a 4 out of 5 rating because their customer service was the best I have received in a long time. When ordering I decided to try something different but the meal was not up to my expectations for a restaurant meal. I could have done better cooking at home. I am not going to get into details because we all know what it is like to get a disappointing meal. The big difference was the attitude when I asked our server to take it back. I explained what I believed was wrong with the meal and why I did not want it anymore and she immediately apologised and took the feedback straight to the kitchen. I was not rude, loud or demanding, just polite. On her return she apologised again from the kitchen and offered something else. Her attitude was exceptional and the rest of the staff were as well. I received a credit and they gave me a dessert as well. I always give feedback positive or otherwise when I am out. A restaurant needs to know when something is not going well. 2 others at my table ordered similar to me and were also disappointed but didn't want to make a fuss. I don't think it was making a fuss but let them know I was not satisfied. I work hard for my pay and meals out are not cheap so we ensure that when something goes wrong, it is righted and that is what happened tonight. Well done Goode Brothers.

Had the caesar. Was super delicious. My cousin had the fish and chips which she really enjoyed. The large wine is verrrry generous. Only thing I'll nitpick is our glasses weren't the cleanest. Other than that was a good experience with quick and friendly service.

Great spot to watch the rugby, decent projector screen, selection of beers on tap as well. Clean and tidy, good ambience and atmosphere. Parking is the only downside at night, so best to get there 30 minutes early to get a good spot.

The sort of service that calls to mind the deftness and mastery of Capablanca at the chessboard or even Alexander the Great on the battlefield. The skill of her service is even comparable to the time Okoro the Pale Oni slayed a band of slavers. Ah, but that dear readers, is a story for another time...

This place is wonderful, nice food, nice atmosphere and you feel well taken care of. But there are some issues below. The food is nice, although I have suspicions that the pizza dough is frozen, store bought pizza, which is something that isn't expected when paying 25 dollars for a pizza. And their prawns may also be frozen as well as there are majority big prawns, but I for some reason got a very miniscule sized prawn, it was very suspicious, but I have no proof of it being frozen, just my opinion. And the pasta we bought was tough, and wasn't cooked enough and the noodles were stuck together, not very pleasant but the sauce was delightful, although the seafood pasta I believe wasn't very good, bland and no sauce almost, the #6 though, fabulous. The pizza is good, but not great and when I got my pizza, the bottom and top was well charred and gave it a sexy look, but some of the bottom was gone, presumably stuck to the pan or whatever, not very cool. Also the food took roughly 27 minutes to arrive, which is 3 pizzas and 3 pastas. And I recommend the tortellini's, they are great with the #6 pasta. 😉 The staff. The waiters were nice, compatible and easy to work with, they are too quiet though. This resturaunt is Loud I mean, really loud, the music is loud, the venue is Completely packed with people talking everywhere, and the quiet voices from the waiters do not help and is hard to hear. The kitchen is very open and can be seen which is nice to be included and it's nice to see hygiene like hats being worn to prevent hair. The atmosphere. The place gives off a very warm and cozy vibe, it is distinct and is very common, yellowish orangish lights to light the place, makes a very warm atmosphere, I think best suited at night, not evening, night. The placd is good, although, I don't like 2 things, 1, the seats, I know it isn't really their fault, but the seats are difficult to sit in, as a 14 year old boy, the seats are way too small, it's uncomfortable and hard, you'll be lucky if you get the soft seats at the kitchen side of the restaurant. 2, the entire cozy vibe is kinda destroyed by the concrete space at the top of the vacinity, it doesn't match the resturaunt at all and looks out of place, it would be cool if they had fixed that up, it looks weird and diminishes the cozy rustic vibe. Might I add, you should book a reservation, and they do do reservations over the phone, real easy and simple,gove name, time and phone number, good service👍. Do this to get a garunteed spot, as it may be full. And it doesn't cost extra, which is cool. Also it's nice to see some fresh parm grated on front of you, goode effort goode Brothers. And adding to this, you have access to fresh basil, like legit fresh basil, still growing right on your very table, take some, I would rip it, and garnish it on your food, adds a nice touch.

Going out for dinner by yourself can be uncomfortable, but I was looked after by Khushi tonight and she was wonderful. She was attentive, cheerful and made it a pleasant experience. I had a table where I could easily see the TV, so didn't have to sit there looking at my phone. I had the steak which was cooked to perfection, the chef did a great job, and the desert was the Warm Chocolate Torte, which was delicious, I highly recommend it. Thank you for a great meal. 🙂

Great atmosphere at the Westgate location, the outdoor area was really nice to sit and enjoy a meal and some drinks. The platter was delicious and we got takeaway boxes for the leftovers, the kitchen staff even boxed each item up seperately and labelled which was which! Great service, thanks team 🙂

We went in on a whim for lunch. Great service and great food. We sat near the kitchen and they are a well oiled machine with good cleanliness. I cannot recommend them jightly enough for a casual lunch

Your typical Italian pub/restaurant chain. Food was alright, nothing too spectacular. Out of the things we ordered, the spaghetti bolognese was probably the most liked. The young ladies who work as waitresses provided great service (unfortunately, there's less to be said about the gentlemen who handled our bill). Something to note - it does get quite busy here on the weekends.

We had a family meetup here with about 25 people and the staff were great, allowing us the whole outdoor area to ourselves. The staff were also really accommodating of our dog, and having baskets of blankets outside was a really nice touch. Beer selection was OK, would like to see wider craft beer selection on tap, but this is more of a gastropub than a taphouse. We also had a few platters and pizzas and everything was on point.

Service was excellent and they were very accommodating. Food arrived promptly and they were very on top of checking our order was right etc The reason I've rated 3 stars is due to the extremely limited menu. I'm vegan and there was not a single vegan item identifiable on the menu and you're even very hard pressed to find many vegetarian options. What I settled for was a salad and a side of chips. In the salad I was allowed to pick 3 ingredients plus lettuce so for a grand total of $36 I got a bowl of chips and a plate with some lettuce, a handful of tomatoes, a few slivers of cucumber and a few pieces of beetroot which was a bit disappointing. Aside from the lack of vegan/vegetarian options, my partner and his family also thought there wasn't much to choose from on the menu in general as they had no fish in stock either

Service, food, atmosphere, experience - everything about this place was good. But not exceptional or memorable. A pretty standard chain or franchise bar/restaurant experience. It was a very busy Saturday evening, so I rate the staff highly for coping with so many customers and making all of us feel welcomed.

Food was declious, recommend breakfast menue. Reasonably priced with a great location out of the main mall. Viewing of the kitchen was clean and tidy. Popular venue, so pre-booking a large group for brunch would definitely be advised or you will be waiting for ever. Service was slow and muddled with breakfast arriving before coffee which was disappointing as other wise deserved full 5 stars. Yes i will be going back again, yes i will be pre-booking even if its for a small group of 4 ppl.

Kia Ora, Last night me and my family came in for dinner, the food was absolutely amazing, an error with the the order was fixed extremely fast and I’m putting a massive shout out in for Maria (my spelling could be wrong!) she was an absolute superstar with fixing the problem and checking in even though it wasn’t her section. I rarely leave a negative review but we've persevered here because there's a great atmosphere and it's such a nice outdoor seating area on a summer evening, but as a family of 5 trying a range of meals and platters on several different occasions, I'd have to say we've found the food uniformly bland. The menu looks good but the food is pretty tasteless. Kind of disappointing given the price of the dishes.

Came here for a birthday, everyone was happy with their meals and the generous portions. Very attentive servers who came by often to provide more water or take our orders. The Pork pasta was very nice and they were fast and organized in the kitchen bringing the food quickly to the whole group of 10.

I didn't expect this place to be as busy as it was and didn't make a booking ahead of time - won't make that mistake again. Thankfully, they were able to find a table and all was well. It was rather noisy and hot inside, but the service was efficient and food delicious.

Food was great. But service and explanation of the "bottomless brunch" was not. We were told that to have the $25 bottomless brunch/lunch we had to order a main meal with 90 minutes to use the bottomless drinks. Which we did. But when it came to pay the $25 for our "bottomless brunch/lunch we were told we had to pay for our meals PLUS $25 for the bottomless drinks. Very regular here and it's a pretty awesome place to be. Tonight was a bit quieter for a Saturday evening which was nice as its usually very popular. Ordered the garlic pizza bread, and lamb shoulder and a plum torte with green tea all of which was divine Only complaint would be they forgot to hold the olives in the lamb shoulder and the tea until the last minute - still came though! All in all very laid back and relaxed dining for peak time on a Saturday! Will continue to come in as a regular.

Great place and nice ambience. The place is inviting and you get a choice to be seated inside, bar side on high chairs or seating outside. Good for a quick drink or full meal. We were a group of twelve with 3 children and chose inside seating. Lots of choices from brunch menu, small plate to big plate and sharing plates. We got some pastas, soup, pizzas and the seafood sharing plate. The pastas are generous serving and can be shared by 2-3 person. The large seafood sharing platter is huge about a metre serving block of salad, salmon, fish, mussels, cheese, bread and dipping. Not expecting for the seafood platter to be a super huge size so we ended taking some home as we could not finish the food. It would have been great if the server has advised a smaller serving or advised that we have ordered too much food. Everything is seasoned well and delicious. Our only gripe is the pepperoni pizza is too spicy for the kids to eat so maybe have a spicy version and not so spicy. We had to wait 20 minutes or so for the food to be served so expect wait times this is normal and it's worth the wait. All in all it was a great experience and we will be coming back but won't be ordering pepperoni pizza again.

The initial server got frustrated with us when we decided not to order drinks, then when I wanted to buy a small meal as I can't eat large portions I got earned away from buying and entire as my meal. The classic kiwi pizza is delicious! Also Kaleb is such a helpful waiter, especially when I spilled my drink on my shirt. He got me napkins and made me feel happy. We go there quite regularly. Staff is super friendly to deal with. The $20 beer jug is the main attraction and food is good. They do specials on pasta and pizzas on Mondays an Tuesdays. We frequent Goode Bothers 3-4 times a month and it's become our local go to - the food and service are always reliable, nice setting and very family friendly. Can recommend the garlic pizza break, buttermilk chicken Starter and the Make your own salads have become a favourite. Spag Bolognese, Pizzas & Fish & Chips are a good bet too. Totally recommend.
