The lady serving me was so sweet and nice and was able to help me with recommendations! I’ve always wanted to try an impossible meat burger and this did not disappoint! It the best vegan burger I’ve ever tasted! And with fries. I’m definitely coming back here. A little pricey at $27 but the burger was so delicious it was worth it. The male staff person also asked me how I was doing and whether I enjoyed it which just made the experience even better! 5 Stars! Highly recommend!

Overall I had a good experience, with good service. I had the nachos and an iced chocolate with whipped cream. The nachos are really big and tasty! A bit more 'meaty' than beans than I personally like as a long term vegan but I'm sure a meateater would enjoy. The speaker was really poor quality and sounded like a phone speaker turned really high, definitely made the atmosphere feel a little unpleasant

Absolutely delicious! 4 x pizzas all full of unique flavours to each other and loaded with toppings that went so well together. Each was as yummy as the next one. Gorilla Kitchen is a very good plant based eatery. The best Ceasar salad money can buy, and fantastic cauliflower Buffalo wings. Great portions. They have finally sorted out the issue with the oily smoke from the kitchen thank God, and now it is a really good plave to hang out. I will even take the kids there because I know they will get enough to eat. It is pitched I think like a classy plant based Maccas with basic table service. I might like it more if it was a little more restauranty but I can see why they don't do that. I hope they make a lot of money.

Loved this place! I wish I was local!! My husband had the banoffee pancakes and I had the bruschetta with mushrooms and we shared them. The mushrooms were delicious, crunchy bread, avocado, rocket, tomatoes and balsamic - yum! The pancakes were so soft and fluffy with a little crisp on the edge- heaven. Love that it’s plant based. Couldn’t recommend this place more. You won’t regret it. If it had been open past 4 on the days we were in town (Monday - Tuesday) I’d have been back for dinner!

We had breakfast here and I was full all day. The food was delicious, even as someone who is not a vegan. For me the only down side was that I generally like cow's milk in my coffee, but they have a full range of milk options for you to try.

Great food, have eaten here on several occasions. Love the burgers, pizzas, nachos and cauliflower wings. Only thing I'm not a fan of that is the fried chickun on a stick, they're made from soy bean curd I think and just not the nicest texture or flavor. I would love if they swapped it for sunfed chicken or a similar product.

Great food unfortunately let down by a few annoyances - we arrived at 1445 on a Sunday, google says they close at 1600 on a Sunday so this should have been fine but we were told they actually close at 1500 but we could order as take away. Not ideal, but we’d come out of our way to eat here so we went ahead. We let the lady at the counter know that google says they close at 1600 and she said she knows but hasn’t got around to changing it, that ‘not really fussed’ attitude is not great when people have gone out of their way to visit thinking they’ll have over an hour. While we sat waiting for our now takeaway food, to our surprise they actually let more people in to order food, now with less than 10 minutes until they close. We got our food and went outside to eat it on the public bench outside, which after paying $77 for 2 meals, 2 drinks and a slice of cake is a bit of a downer to be eating out of a paper bag on the side of the road next to a bin. After eating we got up to leave and on looking into the window, the people who arrived after us are all sat at their table eating from takeaway containers, but indoors, not really acceptable that it was one rule for us and another for them. Quite a shame as the food was very nice. Unfortunately because of this it’s unlikely we’d come out of our way to visit again.

Owned by two chefs who are extremely talented. A really rich assortment of options that often change each time you go. The vegan meat (or meat alternative) is also very good, and not too fake or rubbery. I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a combination of my favourite flavours: French toast made using coconut bread, with lemon-meringue aspects. Just amazing. Healthy smoothies that are tasty, but not too sugary and informative wait-staff. Some gluten free options too (for those of us who are celiacs). I find myself coming back about once a month or more.

Fantastic vegan restaurant with a wide variety of food and drinks. Well worth the visit for vegans and non-vegans alike to taste what's on offer and see what can be done with the style of cuisine. Presentation of the dishes is top-notch and service was excellent as well. Only drawback is the challenge in finding parking in the area if driving, but there are several parking garages and some on-street spaces on surrounding streets that provide options.

I have been waiting to come and try out Gorilla Kitchen's menu for months and finally had the pleasure of a lunch at this lovely plant-based cafe on the weekend. The food was INCREDIBLE! It is not often that I take a bite of a meal and go OMG, LET ME COME BACK HERE EVERY DAY. Good value for money (not more expensive than other cafes). GREAT if you have gluten free requirements. ANYONE could come here and would love it, you don't have to have a food allergy or be vegan. The PHish burger was the best plant-based alternative I have ever had and the GF bun appeared to have been made on site and was very bread-y 🤤 . The vanilla berry spongecake was insane and I have been dreaming of it since. It went well with the Himalayan Chai tea and Coconut milk. <3 <3 <3 10/10 will be coming back.

The GK breakfast portions are rather small for a 6’4 guy - he got the biggest breaky and was still hungry.. However, the drinks menu is also to live for!!!! I went to Gorilla Kitchen in this late afternoon.The cake was really nice. I also ordered one of their milkshakes. I finished 1/4 of the milkshake before I asked for a take-away cup. The staff member said "sure" and took away the glass. I assumed that the remaining 3/4 would be poured into a take-away cup. However, when the staff member brought it back to me, only 1/4 was left in the take-away cup. I cannot figure out why......

I'm a Vegan person, went to this restaurant with my parents for the first time but they are not Vegan. I was surprised that they accepted to come with me and they don't like the Vegan stuff. When they tasted the foods, they liked it. I didn't know they were lot of Vegan restaurants, I only came to know from the Vegan Shop. They had list of plant based and Vegan restaurants. I was so happy and decided to go to this restaurant. First I thought how the food will taste like, when I start eating it. OMG, the food was so good, delicious, not too sweet or spicy. I love it so much but it would be wonderful this restaurant was near to my place. I live in Mount Roskill, I have to travel all the way to city to this restaurant. The staff are very nice and friendly. I Hope in future you will open a GK branch in other places too, not only in city. Expecting more new varieties foods from GK.
