My wife and I had a wonderful dinner here. Got the chicken noodles after a recommendation from the waitress. It was as good as it gets! Noticed it's byo too, will definitely be coming back, can't wait to try more of the menu.

Ever wondered who decided to hang ducks - heads on and roasted, BBQ pork with the reddish/pink tinge and other mouth watering meats in a row by the restaurant window; don’t have the answer to that, but it was sure a master stroke of marketing❗️Visited this humble eatery in Royal Oak with family recently and recommend it to those who are after some affordable and delicious Cantonese food that come in large portions. My highlight of the night was the Steamed Whole Fish🐟, with a small amount of soy sauce, ginger and spring onion added - the light seasoning brings out the sweetness of the fish & this is how you best cook fresh seafood and let the flavours of the primary ingredient shine 👏👏.

My partner and I's absolute favourite. We have been getting the Malaysian Fried Rice Noodles regularly for almost 2 years and aren't even slightly bored of them. Highly recommended

This is the best Chinese food I've had in New Zealand. It's fresh and delicious, and both the veggie and meat dishes are very well done. AND the prices are great!

Honestly you are missing out if you haven't dined in here. Any menu I order, I have never been disappointed, food is always delicious and rich in flavours. Price is good too. From the outside it may look a bit outdated, but don't let it deter you to try it out. Because what matters is the food. And soon you'll be a regular just like us 😂

Always a pleasure eating here! One of the tastiest in Royal Oak area and friendliest family run business. Perhaps the portions can be a little bit bigger but other than that, I'd return here for their bbq pork, roast pork, and pork spare ribs. Don't forget the Salted Fish Chicken fried rice 🔥👌

Very nice food. I was a bit sick today, and thought I'll be better if I'll get myself ginger and chicken with rice. It was awesome, and I feel better now. Also the service is great. Just make sure you are sitting in the comfortable chairs, some of them feels weird in your back.

Love the Chinese food here. Nice and tasty and the food comes out very quick. Very reasonably priced for Auckland. I enjoyed the chicken ginger spring onion dish and the wonton soup. Will return again.

As of any other chinese restaurant, decent, clean, compact and straight forward order. Nothing really impressive in terms of the restaurant display itself. Food were quite nice. The portion though was slightly smaller compared to other similar chinese restaurant setting, but was suffice to feed the mouth of two chinese couple. Overall, 4 stars for food, no comment on setting and services.

I always have a stir fry rice, combination vegetables with beef and a duck. A food is very good and duck is delicious. Don't forget to try their Chinese tea, it's awesome!

We had chilli beef, shared between two people (they are big helpings!). Yummy! Haven't tried anything else off the menu, and considering the great value, we will be eating the chilli beef next time too.

It doesn't have the best environment, but the food servings are honestly jaw-dropping. Definitely one of the cheaper and tastier places to go for Malaysian and Cantonese style food. And ask for their chilli!

This cafe is a hidden treasure. It was clean, service was great, menu was wide and varied, and the food was awesome (I had the Roast Pork noodle soup). Will definitely be going back here again.

Duck on rice worth mentioning. Also a new dish we tried sechwan chicken was delicious and huge portion. Worth the lunchtime visit and very affordable.
