Serious and tasty burgers, open late and friendly staff. And when they do a big burger, they go WIDE instead of tall, and it's so much better. If you're wandering home a little tipsy and see this place open, go in and try a burger, you won't regret it!

The food is great. Nice crispy grilled beef and hot burger buns. Normally, I don't like a cold burger, so this place gave me a great experience. The drink is good, too.

Following a night out dancing and drinking, the perfect close to the night before clambering into a cab to go home is a gorgeous most satisfying burger from Hunger Burger along K Rd. Their burgers are truly amazing, sizeable and mouth watering. I simply adore the Chilli Chicken and Deluxe Chicken burgers and their chips are seasoned with chicken salt and perfect dipped in extra chilli sauce! What’s even better is that the burgers aren’t too messy to devour! Highly recommended!

Local burger joint serving really tasty burgers. Walked past and after reading a few reviews thought I'd check it out. Good sized burger, grilled bun, fresh patty grilled when you order, crispy smokey bacon, and not so dripping in sauce it goes everywhere. Good value for money too. If you're on Krd and looking for a decent burger these are well worth your time.

I love the food here. The first time I was there, I paid 13 dollars for my classic mushroom (which became my go-to at Hunger Burger) burger and was surprised at the size of it. It was bang for your buck. They cook the burger in front of you so you can see them prepare it. Flavour wise, it is one of the best I have tasted in my life. I've tried other joints such as Murder Burger, Corner Burger, Burgerfuel, Burger Burger etc., and as much as they are respectable and delicious burgers in their own right, Hunger Burger is still my favourite. The staff working there are very cool and cheerful people, they know how to do their job and TREAT CUSTOMERS RIGHT, which is the most important thing next to food quality. More impressive is that even if the store is busy, they can still handle and entertain the customers while still doing a good job of preparing the food. This place is a sure winner.

I have been ordering the fish burger since I first knew about Hunger Burger, and I absolutely love it. It's delicious, perfectly fried fish, and the whole burger it's pretty big! I always come back for the same, and I never regret 👌🏽

Overall experience was ok. Buns were really big but the patty was small and so was the ingredients. Very less sauce and it made the burgers dry.

Had catching fire and hunger burger, and the small burger for kids, tonight. Price is good, but not my type of taste. Nice fries and wedges. Service was ok only because my baby boy had to wait for his burger after me and his dad got ours and everyone else first. Kids matter too. 3 stars for me.

Tried this burger place today for the first time. The wait wasn't long. The burger was good. It was really fresh, just the right amount of sauce, juicy, full of flavour and very large size. For the price you pay, it definately worth it. Thank you.

These burgers "Oh My God" they are made with so much perfection and the buns the buns are so so so light you'll feel after the last bite that you are too full but while you are still eating it you will feel very light like almost having a salad with maybe bacon and egg on it. And the customer service is always the key in which these begin that counter have nailed it.

It's kinda expensive but it's good value since the burgers are massive! Vegetarian options are quite nice and creative! The burgers are reminiscent of fish and chip shop burgers which I really like since these are difficult to find in Auckland, especially vegetarian friendly options! Edit: I got sick from eating the Veggie Lovers burger but I will probably come back as the Sweetcorn burger is absolutely fabulous!

The mushroom burger I had, it's definitely not a fast food chain level. It's so well made, personally, I think it's better than Ferg burger I had in Queenstown. Servings are big. I am keen to try other burgers they have.
