Had dinner here recently. Very crowded. Suggest booking is necessary. The place is pleasant and sitting arrangement was comfortable. The service was attentive and friendly. As for the food we enjoyed it's good taste. There were a good selection of dishes and we intend to return to try some of them.

This place is known for their Cantonese dishes. I came here for lunch and was told that I should definitely try the noodles here (wan tan mee) because it is handmade in the store. Sadly I was a little disappointed. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. My partner also had the soup noodles with beef brisket but the beef was not tender enough in my opinion. The roasted pork and duck dish was alright but I had better ones in Auckland. Overall, the service was good but the food is average. Not rushing to come back.

One of my favourite Cantonese restaurants. Food is delicious, good portions and value fir money. Variety of options from wonton noodle soup, through to roast pork and larger dishes to share. The "Cheung fan" is a must here and it's best to reserve a table for dinner as it's always packed. Takeaway available as well. Excellent service too! Open for takeaways during level 3.

This eatery is very busy and lively. The food was amazing, especially the roast duck, soft crab shells, and there are so many dishes to try! The service was quick and efficient. The waitress that took our order was a funny lady in a good way! The prices are reasonable too. However, the portions are smaller now, so beware!

Braised beef brisket noodle soup! Beef tongue! Recent visit has prompted me to give 5 stars. The food is excellent. The menu is now more diverse. One of the best HK style cafes in Auckland. I tried braised beef brisket noodle soup with the addition of pork/prawn wontons. Epic! This has to be my favourite place to eat in Auckland. The service is also good. Covid pass required and they are strict with the restrictions, which I am happy with. Staff are friendly, sociable and informative. If Hungry Head was a 15min drive from, I would eat here nearly every day.

Bought the braised brisket noodle soup and some dry beef noodles (can't remember the name) and that soup was the best noodle soup I've ever had! So flavourful and such soft beef pieces. Large portions and so so delicious!

The food is good with a value of price. It is very fast too. However the service is quite poor. During this covid19 time and a lot of cases in Auckland, the staff asked if it is okay to have some other customer to join our table. Obviously we would not want it. And while we are eating, they rushed us to finish so they can give our table to other customer. It is so rude considering we are not even wasting time on phone or talking while we eat. Please keep in mind some people are not a fast eater.

Always drive past this place so decided to have dinner here today. Heard they do good beef brisket noodles. They have two types so we tried them both. We had the beef brisket noodles and the braised beef brisket noodles. They were both delicious, but we preferred the braised beef brisket noodles (we asked for egg noodles with it). Also had some roast duck which was very good. Good portions and good pricing. They lady who served us was very friendly. Definitely coming back here again to try their other dishes.

High quality, authentic food accompanied by friendly staff offering great service at reasonable prices, what more could you want? The food is so good that even the staff eat here. I was there at 4.30 pm, before the evening rush and watched while all the staff sat down together to eat enormous plates of their own food. There is no better compliment than this. I will definitely be back even though it is quite a distance to travel from where I live.

Food is nice, but we booked a table at 6 and they finally gave us a different table at 6.30. The table that was for us, they had given it to another big group. They are very busy and overworked which I understand. But cleanliness is not their top priority, nor is customer satisfaction. There are a lot of other restaurants just as good but with better customer focus as well. If I come back, it will only be for takeaway.

This restaurant reminds me of my "good times" visiting Hong Kong. Food is good, their service is the most authentic part of how it is done back in Hong Kong. I ordered Congee, 10 mins later waitress come back and tell me "we dont have congee tonight" then walk away without asking what I would like to order instead. There is always a 50cent extra charge on the bill so I ask whether it is a charge for tea? The lady at the counter, who looks like the owner of the restaurant, look at me and throw the order docket on the counter and say, "check for yourself". Isn't this classic? Love it! I totally understand if they charge for tea, as it is how a lot of restaurants would do in Hong Kong. In fact a lot of yum char restaurants in New Zealand charge for tea as well. So I dont know why she couldnt just say yes or no.

I found the food incredibly over salted though and had to balance it out with a fair bit of vinegar. It wasn't just my dish either, I tried two others and they were both also very salted. Great little Hong Kong style restaurant from lunch till dinner around the Botany area. Food from traditional rice dishes, noodles, snacks and drinks. Try and visit around the afternoon as it's not busy very. Will get busy into around dinner time. Do mind the parking as well since there is very limited spaces. I recommend try parking along the side of the road.
