Delicious food full of flavour with decent portions. There humus is a must have!!!! Only thing to improve on is probably their customer service, we walked in with no other customers there, all the staff just stared at us with out greeting….slightly awkward…

Absolutely highly recommend Jaan. We dined here last night by chance for a late bite, and were 'wowed' by the Staff, seriously delicious food - superb, and decor. We are definitely returning, probably sooner than later. Our Server was attentive, good customer service along with the lovely Lady who greeted, seated and settled our bill. Thank you for the complimentary Orange Turkish Delight wow, super delicious.

Delicious food here. The service was fast and food tasted very very good. Serving size is quite decent too. A must try if you are looking for good food, a place to chill with sheesha and drinks. The staff are polite and friendly.

We lunched in at Jaan in the weekend and enjoyed the gorgeous view overlooking Kingsland. Staff was very friendly and we were promptly served for beverages and food however there a significant wait for both drinks and then the entrees then mains to arrive. This was disappointing given we were the only ones in the restaurant. Nonetheless, when the food did arrive, I was most satisfied with my selections and enjoyed the beautiful flavours and textures of my prawns then snapper main. The coffees were exceptional.

Been looking for good middle eastern food since moving back from Australia 8 years ago, but due to the fact we live in South auckland we thought we would have to travel overseas for good food. But now you are our go to, the food was amazing and well worth the drive

Had dinner here a couple of weeks ago with 3 friends. We all really enjoyed it. You can order just their entree dishes and be happy.... or go for that and their excellent mains. The food is tasty..baba ghanoush and hummus dips... bread...calamari...stuffed vine leaves...grilled lamb etc. The staff were welcoming and friendly, also really patient with our long deliberations over the wine list. The place is not cramped which is relaxing and if you like shisha as I do..it's on offer downstairs.

Food, drinks n service is decent, although some of the stuff just runs out at one point of time even when it is busy. I've never heard hot chocolate, coffee (all types) out of stock in any place. A great place to enjoy with your friends with some flaws in management!

We got the calamari and meat mezze platter - it was the highest quality food I've ever tasted. It got better with each succulent bite. The drinks were incredible and they had warm and welcoming service.

I went to Jaan for my 21st with my best friends, HANDS DOWN it was the BEST Mediterranean food I've ever tried. Although the price range might be a little high for students, but the portion was huge. I'll defiantly go back for more!

I can see why this place get busy, perfect place to relax, has a nice garden/seating area at the back of the restaurant which is fenced and away from the street. Excellent food, and all meet and chicken on menu is free range which is great. We got a Shisha pipe after dinner and it had great flavour, and it was very clean with fresh water, unlike other places that clean their pipe once every blue moon. Has great atmosphere and staff are friendly and checked on us regularly.

Our go-to weekend hang out for a laid back experience. It's the best place to have a sheesha session with friends and they are open late as well. If you aren't interested in sheesha, the food alone is good enough to come here for.

Ordered the Meat Mezze and it was definitely worth the money (in my opinion). The assortment of meats and variety of dips allowed for an endless mix of combinations! Flavours coupled perfectly together and i just loved the different condiments that were given-all in all a filling meal that I would definitely order again! quick and warming services, see you again Jaan!

Amazing food (minus the piece of barcode in one of our meals) Amazing service! Very surprised how fast they served a party of 30! Very busy and very loud but worth it!! The only thing that was bad was the $15 birthday cake fee! Thats a bit of a rip off!!!

Good food. Rude service. My partner and I came here the other night before a concert wanting to eat out somewhere different in Kingsland and wanting to make use of our Entertainment Book discount. The upstairs section of the restaurant was empty, so we were seated right away. We both ordered the lamb tagine, which came very quickly (less than 15 minutes) and was so much that neither of us could finish. The only problem came when we asked for the bill, including our discount voucher for 25% of the total of our two mains. The first waitress seem perplexed by this, so passed it on to the other waitress to handle. She only deducted 25% off one of the meals, and so charged me $6 more than I should have paid. When I asked for the receipt (she did not even offer this to me, as is general courtesy) she said it was too late as she had already closed the till. When I asked for a re-print she entered the wrong amount and appeared very put out by my request. Considering that it was a very quiet night and there were no other customers waiting, I just felt like more of an effort should have been made here and I left with a bad feeling after what was otherwise a very enjoyable meal.

Unreal Hospitality by Ramo, the chef & the staff!! Tonight was our first time @ Jaans, and we arrived 40mins before their closing time to try the shisha. We were the last ones to finish, and but instead of asking us to leave - we met the chef, the owner, and his family who continued to cater for us an hour and half after closing. The staff are treated like family, and they welcomed us into their space like family. This is definitely our new favourite spot. Thank you guys for the laughs, all the conversations and of your warm hospitality!!!

Ramo and his team are very accomodating! They’re all sooooo friendly and made conversation with my friend and I which made our first visit one to remember! HIGHLY recommend Jaans and will definitely be back regularly! Thanks for a good night and for making my friend and I feel welcomed! We lost track of time and left an hour and a half after closing because we were all conversating and having a good laugh with them all. Thanks for having us, definitely one for the books!
