J.Really delicious food, with proper fresh fillets of snapper etc., which could actually be distinguished from the other fish! Chips were very nice, good amount of crunch. Overall not too expensive considering the quality. The salt & pepper squid was surprisingly good.
Quite busy on a Friday night, would recommend calling in advance to order.

G.Excellent kai - I had the snapper (Tēmure) Chips and the squid. Fish was lightly crumbed and absolutely not greasy-amongst the best I’ve ever had. Service was top notch friendly. The shop is clean and well run.
O.The portion sizes of the fries are amazing, the prices are cheap, they make the best fish and chips in nz, the beer batter isn't soggy, the crumbed is a must try. The fish are fresh, no smell or taste of oil, grease. MUST TRY FOR ANYONE IN NORTH SHORE

L.We always buy lunch here when we visit Orewa. The place does not look modern but they have an "A" rating and the food is consistently good. Great menu. Fantastic, generous, hot burgers and American hot-dogs, and perfect fries. We ordered for five people and the wait was 10 mins. Friendly, helpful staff member placed our order in a box so I could carry it easily.
L.Good amount of chips for the amount paid. Delicious fish with a thin batter. Hot and ready really quickly. Nice and close to the beach with a lovely outside area to eat.

a.Wow, just stopped here to grab some dinner, didnt check it out first, but what a fantastic place. Really great food, huge sizes only managed a special burger and some chips and I was totally full. Definitely will be stopping here again when passing through 👌👍

N.Friday night takeaways on the beach? 5 stars for the fish! (We ordered Snapper). Great tasting batter and you could tell it was cooked in decent and 'clean' oil. Chips were a bit dry for us so we might skip this in future but the battered fish and the tasty and substantial fish burgers means we will be back for more.
