Awesome service from the Papakura branch tonight. Inital order had an easy mistake in it (BBQ sauce used after I specified tomato allergy). The team were friendly, helpful and replaced my burger in quick time. Thanks all!

Am a little biased on this review because many many years ago I worked there. I was very pleased to see that the yocum burger remains on the menu, even through the shop looks a little on the aged side the food is of a good standard and value for your money, one small suggestion a smile to your customers would certainly go a long way but apart from that Li'l Abners hopefully remains an intrinsic part of School Corner, Papatoetoe.

I had chicken burger meal (9). This place has good food and tasty as well. The wait was close to 10 minutes as they make it after you order. There is parking Infront of the store. The fries was really tasty. Will visit again for sure.

Always come for the Yokum Burger. Have bought this burger for years from Haddads as the western version of Lil Abners. They have lost their way so I come here and they dont let me down. Takeaway food as it is... They have become used to the patrons and their service with a smile has gone lately.

The yokum burger is me and my family's all time favorite burger.. Shredded up chicken, stuffing with onions and mayo wrapped inside an egg crêpe as the pattie. With lettuce and tomato on a generous sized bun. It's so good and fills you up cause it's huge. You can also buy an yokum lovers combo which is 3 yokum burgers and $5 chips for $25. The only reason why some people don't like it, it's just because the consistency of the burgers filling. But if you can get over what a burger is suppose to feel like then you'll love it, cause it's delicious. I'm sure the yokum burger is lil abner's highly sought after for customers, other than the rotisserie cooked full, half or quarter chicken with stuffing and their chicken salted chips. They need to open up more stores so people like me don't have to travel so far.. If you haven't tried a yokum burger, just try it once. Lot's of people love it, but if your one of those small amount of people that dont like it, then at least you've tried it. Writing this has made me hungry now :P

Best chicken kebabs and chips in South / East Auckland (haven't tasted the kebabs out in North / West Auckland areas). Make sure to ask for chicken salt on the chips and you will love them. The kebabs taste really good with a good amount of salad and chicken together. Highly recommend getting cheese added to it as well (it cost an extra $2 to do so), it takes the flavour to another level. This place is popular for their Yokum burger. For me it wasn't my flavour. Its essentially mince chicken, mixed with mayo and wrapped within a scrambled egg. It had too much mayo for me which ruined the flavour for me, but some people might actually like it like this.

Very nice small scale fast food restaurant with a lot of food choices. The kebabs and egg burger offered here are amazing. The location does leave a lot to be desired because it is off a busy intersection and located right next to another fast food restaurant - So you can expect parking to be trouble some and long waits. The pricing is a bit on the expensive side so I prefer to purchase items in their combo menus.

I always get the chicken kebab and honestly the way they make it is GOLDEN can't beat it anywhere else! Food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. Even during lockdown this place is efficient and the wait time just under 20 mins Everytime idk how they do it but these men know how to make food 👌😍

The chicken and the chips from here are great! People also love their chicken rolls, their yokum burgers and milkshakes so there is always something for everyone. You would expect to wait about 15-20mins for your order depending on how busy they are. There is no space for dining in here.

Crinkle cut potaties cooked to golden perfection with a generous sprinkling of chicken salt goodness. **Review from an American!** During my stay in Auckland my friends and I met some AMAZING locals who brought a selection of food from Li'l Abners to our Airbnb. I CANNOT STOP THINKING ABOUT THE YOKUM BURGER. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT IS IN IT. I have literally been telling anyone and everyone who will listen about a burger I cannot completely describe. Everyone loves the Yokum Burger on the internet but none of you sing its praises in detail. I know that this is a marketing tactic to increase tourism and IT IS WORKING. If someone who is a regular here would like to do me a solid and hit me back with details so I can attempt to poorly recreate this masterpiece until I can afford to come back to your beautiful country it would be most appreciated.
