Our first Indian takeaway in Level 3 and long awaited. Mantra you didn't disappoint. Superb!! Very generous amount of succulent chicken (butter chicken and madras chicken) and fat juicy prawns. I think we will need another fix in a couple of days time. Thank you 😊

This is by far our favourite place to grab Indian takeaway, or takeaway in general. The food is superb and the staff friendly. We usually order two curries with naan , so we have enough leftovers the next day and what an awesome couple of days we have enjoying the food two days in a row! The chicken pokora are also heavenly. Looking forward to when we can dine in again once lockdown ends, they've got a great vibe.

We dined at 6pm on the 29.01.21 . We were warmly greeted the waiter was friendly and polite - Excellent service . The restaurant was clean and very well presented . We had the Lamb Rogan and Garlic Naan bread - delicious and Great value . We were the only customers in the restaurant - which must be a disapointment to the owners, as it is definetely worth patronage

Yummy Indian food in West Auckland. We tried momos. Interesting but don’t think will order again next time. The naan bread filled with onions is so delicious. Will try other fillings next time.

We have been regular patrons at Mantra since couple of months ago. The reason why we keep returning is quite simple. The standard of service, food and atmosphere remains classic and competitive pricing. It is not easy to find an Indian restaurant where you been welcomed and greeted with bunch of smiles and you are been attended quickly.

Great choice for Lunch. The restaurant is now on the Main Street of Henderson. . For lunch options with curry, rice ,naan and papad it is only $15 and the food is exceptional. Never miss when in Henderson town.

Great service. Really friendly staff. A cute little place. Nice heat pump above the door perfect for these cold winters. Decent pricing and yummy food. Bathroom leaves a little to be desired but the beautiful wooden swing bench for waiting more than makes up for it. Find them on menu log and uber eats aswell.

Amazing food!!!! Sadly, when I first walked in I judged the decor and judge it on that. Dont do that!!!! The food is amazing!!! Beats both my favourite local Indian restaurants hands down and to be honest my dish the Chicken Kaali (Mustard Creamy Chicken Curry) was the best!!! And when we ask for a cheese & garlic naan - We got Cheese & garlic! Not just Garlic with a little cheese. This place wins me over, best in Auckland for me so far.

Hands down our favorite Indian spot in Henderson. We get takeaways for delivery or pick up. They are very well prepared and we always look forward to the samosas. Lovely staff and owner. The operation is well organised so if you order online in advance they are punctual on having things ready for when they open. We normally order a mixture of mild and medium spicy. Mild is truly mild and the flavours come though very well, medium has a good kick to it.

Great food, great staff, great hours, lovely ambiance in restaurant. This has to be one of my favorite Indian eateries in Auckland. Every dish I have tried (I've tried plenty) has been on point. The naans are always fresh, soft and fluffy. Wait times are constant, approx 15 minutes no matter how busy. I cannot reccomend this place enough. Goooooo mantra!

We have been dining at Mantra for a few years now. Always consistently delicious. The best of ingredients are used which is evident in every dish we have had. Sauces are lovely and rich with beautiful spices and flavour pops. Our all time favourites are Karahi Chicken, Bhuna Gosht, Butter Chicken and Chicken Madras.Naans are lovely and soft. The Tandoori Prawns and Prawn Pakora entrees are so delicious and generously sized. Big juicy prawns. The service is great. Wine is great and we never have to wait long for our meals. Prices very reasonable.

Very good food, good prices, takeaway or dine-in. Pleasant staff and atmosphere in a humble setting. In Henderson this is our go to Indian restaurant. I'd like to give it a 41/2 stars but we can't do 1/2 stars.

You won't find an Indian fine dining restaurant in West Auckland that is better than this one! Extremely tasty food, although the prices can be a bit expensive for some people's liking. Freshly made naan breads and curries, and are served in reasonable quantities. Not many people know about this restaurant as it is in a very isolated area but I hope this changes soon and people start knowing about this restaurant!

Award winning Chef's food yuuummmyyy I am from London and came to visit my family in NZ .We had a fantastic dinner at Mantra last night .The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters.The service was excellent and the food was very tasty and well presented.They had this amazing , very authentic Nepalese MOMO (Dumpling ) and Onion Rings( Onion Bhaji ) . Wide range and varieties of curry .Dhaba Chicken and Chicken Biryani was very delicious.The chefs take great care in selecting the best quality ingredients.And must say those CHEF'S would have been awarded if they were serving these amazing food in London. All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. Will 200% come back to MANTRA when I am back again to NZ and highly recommend to all .

I was very happy to be the only one dining at 5.00pm on a Wednesday. I was tired after a busy workshop so needed some delicious and nutritious food to sooth my soul. There were a number of dishes not on offer at my local curry house where I live in a different city. I chose Dhaba chicken curry and brocolli and cauli as a side dish. Both were very nice, flavoursome and the right heat when I ordered mild-medium. As my weeks workshop isn't yet finished I will return and try another dish. I cannot comment on any breads as I don't eat bread. Yes the place is simple with paper table coverings. The restaurant is pleasant, clean and well kept and it doesn't pretent to be anything else.

Really awesome Curry mains. Some of the best Indian cuisine I've had in Auckland. They have special rates for the mains on Mon-Tue-Wed. Really good. Try the Chicken Kalimirch and some Keema Naan to go with it. 😋

We very enjoyed our meal and service at this lovely restaurant. Very relaxing atmosphere and nice interior . You don't have to yell to each other to be heard as it isn't a noisy place. And the toilets are clean too. Highly recommend.

One of the best experience i had in a restaurant in new zealand. The staffs are kind, nice and attentive even when the restaurant is full and busy. The food is amazing, so good that I went back the next day to have another meal. totally recommended and try Mantra Kebab and Karahi Chicken.... Amazing!!!

Mantra 🕉 in Henderson has been my favourite Indian restaurant for years. The sauces they make up are sooo nice. I love to order takeaway on the ‘cheaper nights’ chicken (or when I can afford, fish) madras (Indian hot 🥵) with aloo naan bread. Yuuuuummy!
